HUGHES CHRISTMAS SPECIAL 2020🎅🏻🎄

Merry Christmas Eve! We are doing something very different this year. We've always gone to my grandma's house and she's in California this year so we had to fend for ourselves and we're just gonna have everybody come over here like my immediate family. We're gonna have dinner and play games. So that's the plan for today. What are you doing? Do you have something to say? I'm gonna take you guys on a little tour of what we're gonna be doing because we have quite a bit of mess back here. So I'll show you some of the yummy treats that I made and then we're gonna let the kids open one present because that's something I did as a kid and I loved it. I loved having that one gift we got to open on Christmas Eve. So we're gonna let all the kids open some. Excuse you! I'm going to try to do this while I'm holding him. So I made some wreaths. Now if you have made these before, they're basically Rice Krispie treats but they're a little bit different. They're made with corn flakes and they have vanilla extract in them. They are so good. The green I used, the food coloring, was a little bit different. So the green is a little bit different and the boys were like, that looks like throw up. Kind of bummed but you get the picture. So I haven't finished making these boards. I'm gonna add like sugar cookies once I get those frosted and then some caramel corn. So that'll just fill in there but I don't wanna get all that stuff out before people get here. So we're going to be having all different kinds of soups. Everybody's bringing, it's like a potluck. So I have these cute bowls for the soups. We'll have some hot chocolate. These were all found at Walmart. How stinking cute. And same with these, Merry and Bright and Treat Yourself. We are also going to be frosting some sugar cookies so I will go show you those in a second but everyone at the end of the night is gonna frost their cookies for Santa and then they're going to take them home on these cute Santa plates. So here we will be decorating cookies. These will be for Santa tonight and they'll all take them home with them. I'm going to be putting a whole bunch of just little cookies like this on a plate. I have several trays of these and then they will just decorate them as they want. We have tons of different cute sprinkles. It'll just be a fun time but I wanted to put these tablecloths down just because I know these kids will make a huge mess and this way it'll make it a lot easier to just roll everything up and throw it in the trash. Open that? It says from the North Pole. I'm gonna open my Pokemon cards down here. Oh my goodness. I put one in front of my husband. I'm taking all the upstairs. We ended Christmas day at my mom's house. She always makes us brunch. And we went there at about noon and just giving each other gifts in my extended family. And my mom actually surprised us with a trip down to St. George this summer. So we're really excited about that. But I'm really bad at closing out videos on Christmas just because I'm really living in the moment and I'm not really focused on grabbing my camera. So I'm sorry I didn't really end this video very well. But we did go back home. We cleaned a little bit and then we went back to my mom's for dinner. So that's how we spent our Christmas day.
