Hello and welcome to our channel. Today our adventure starts with a leisurely drive through
Condalo followed by a short drive to Old San Juan and finishing with a glimpse of Ocean Park.
If you're new to our channel and you're into travel please consider subscribing and liking this video.
We start by visiting La Placita de San Jorce, an incredible place where you can find local
restaurants and great food. Also there's a market to buy fresh fruits and vegetables.
There are many great restaurants to eat at in La Placita. At night La Placita de San Jorce is a
whole different experience. The square becomes a fun party scene with music, good food, dancing,
and a highly festive atmosphere. Then we move to Condado, a vibrant district with lots of food,
entertainment, high-end shopping, and of course beautiful beaches. Condado is an oceanfront
walkable area in San Juan and is one of the most popular places to stay.
Whether you're looking for international dining, local cuisine, or fusion,
Condado has you covered because it has one of the most diverse selections of food in San Juan.
Condado has a selection of mid-range to high-end hotels and inns for your stay
and also casinos if you like gambling.
You will find La Ventana al Mar Oceanfront Park. This is a great place to go and have a relaxing
evening. Sit down and admire the scenery or just walk around and enjoy the view.
Here you will find a cement pathway where you can walk along the seaside.
It has a beautiful view of the Atlantic Ocean. Please be careful swimming at the main beach
in Condado because the surf and riptides are very dangerous. The Laguna del Condado is a
large urban lagoon that is part of the San Juan Bay estuary. The beach called Playita del Condado
at the ocean side of the lagoon is a wonderful place for swimming and snorkeling. This body
of water is home to many endangered animals including brown pelicans, manatees, and many
kinds of tropical fish. Old San Juan is the most iconic neighborhood in San Juan. If you are
visiting Puerto Rico, you absolutely must take at least half a day to wander the blue cobblestone
streets and admire the fantastically colorful old houses. If you're a history buff, make sure to take
a tour of El Morro, the huge long fort surrounding the city. You can buy tickets in the San Cristobal
Fort which give you access to San Cristobal and El Morro. Shop for jewelry, hats, clothing,
and local arts and crafts like hand-carved nativity scenes. If you have a sweet tooth,
make sure to enjoy a paleta, a fancy popsicle made from locally sourced fruits,
or buy some pastries and chocolates. Several movies were filmed in Old San Juan like Captain
Ron and Assassins. Enjoy a beautiful evening or even catch a concert. Now let's drive to Playa
del Ultimo Trolley in Ocean Park. This is one of the most famous beaches in Ocean Park. You will
find a lot of activities like windsurfing and parasailing. If you're in the area, don't forget
to get some delicious local ice cream from the vendor on the beach. Tour is almost over, but
first let's make a stop in Pepper's Bistro in San Jose, a Mexican Puerto Rican fusion restaurant.
Here we found a delicious burrito filled with mofongo. It's one of our favorite restaurants
and definitely a recommended one to visit. Oh, and remember to get a coconut mojito.
Thanks so much for watching and remember to get out, explore, and enjoy life.
