kaha de Muertos is a mysterious
uninhabited Island to the south of
Puerto Rico it's currently only
accessible by tour and today will show
you a perfect option for visiting this
breathtaking place come along with us to
experience kah
muos hi everyone today we're going to
kaj Muertos an island off the coast of
Pon Puerto Rico my husband surprised me
with a tour with Waterland Adventures to
this island which I've wanted to see for
like over 5 years I'm so excited This
Island used to be accessible by Fairy
before hurricane Maria but since then
and um also with the earthquakes that
service is broken down so now you can
only really get like boat tours to it so
on this tour we're going to see the
island we're going to do some hiking and
we're going to do some snorkeling and a
pristine Reef I'm so excited to see this
place let's
go this is so exciting
we made it to the island look at the
turquoise

Waters when you arrive to the island you
step into the beautiful crystal clear
water and walk a few yards onto the
beach since boats can't dock directly at
the island make sure all your belongings
are in a waterproof bag the tour starts
with ample time to explore the island
walk up the hill take photos or just
relax on the
beach the name Beach pla pelicano
surprisingly is the calmest Beach we've
ever visited in Puerto Rico during the
winter time it was like a pristine
natural swimming pool and had some
perfect rocks for mermaiding even though
the day we went was cloudy and a little
rainy we still experienced the full
Beauty and wildness of the island we
actually enjoyed not having to put on so
much
[Music]
sunscreen there are thousands of
butterflies flying around this is
probably the most peaceful place I've
ever been
make sure to walk up the stairs and
Frolic up an idyllic Hill surrounded by
thousands of butterflies you'll feel
like you're a Narnia or Lord of the
Rings

our tour are the only people on the
island right now you really feel like
you're in a pirate
movie this island has some really
interesting history in the late 1500s
and early 1600s it was a popular Island
for pirates there's actually this B band
of pirates that got marooned there after
a mutiny and they had like this huge
treasure and the Spanish came H when
they went to Puerto Rico to get
Provisions the Spanish government
captured them and like I don't know what
happened but they all got killed except
for the one that told the government
where the gold was this island was the
inspiration behind a novel by the author
cayetano which was actually the
inspiration for Robert Lewis Stevenson's
novel Treasure Island so this island has
a lot of very interesting
history next the tour will take you to
some special snorkeling spots the tour
company owner was actually the last
person to live on the island so he knows
the island like the back of his hand and
we'll show you the best places depending
on the weather and water

the sun just came out and we're going to
go snorkeling in the area that they call
Laos it looks really clear here and like
there might be grass so that there's a
habitat for seep Turtles let's see what
we can find on our tour we went
snorkeling at an offshore Reef called La
posita the water was crystal clear and
the visibility was great for snorkeling
this island is in the Caribbean Sea
which makes it an excellent place to
visit in the winter when many of the
beaches in Mainland Puerto Rico are too
rough
I could have snorkel here all day there
are colorful corals graceful stingrays
and beautiful tropical fish along the
reef line rocky Shore it really is like
swimming in an

aquarium this was an amazing experience
we highly recommend it this is a great
Eco tour they know so much about the
island in the area and the island is
just magical it's a Once in a-lifetime
thing to see I hope you guys get to
experience it
