"Little Jack Ma" Used and Abandoned by Chinese Agency |Jack Ma | Internet Sensation

Does this 13-year-old Chinese boy look familiar? Fan Xiaoqin became an internet sensation in China in 2016 due to his striking resemblance to Chinese entrepreneur Jack Ma, earning him the nickname of "Little Jack Ma.”
However, the boy’s fortunes took a turn for the worse in November last year, when Jack Ma’s Ant Group initial public offering (IPO) was suspended by Chinese leader Xi Jinping . After a controversial speech at a financial forum in Shanghai in late October, where he stated that “China’s financial sector basically doesn’t have a system,” Ma was summoned by Chinese regulators and disappeared from the public eye for months.
Fan Xiaoqin subsequently lost his popularity and was sent back to his rural village. There, he suffered from a continual lack of educational opportunities. The 13-year-old boy was unable to answer even simple arithmetic questions such as “2 + 2,” and due to his medical condition of dwarfism, was only as tall as a five or six-year-old child. Small spots on his legs were rumored to be needle tracks, and his story understandably raised concerns in China.
