Panama City Beach with my Pup | LIVING OUT OF A 4RUNNER

Hello, welcome to Panama City Beach, Florida. Well, we're almost there. We're in Callaway, so we're actually east. We went a little too far, but now we are going to backtrack because there's a very cool park called Conservation Park, and Zora and I are going to go check it out right now. But before we can go check out that park, I need some food. If you've been on my channel before, you already know what I'm making. I'm making my usual wrap, which is just Dijon mustard, Swiss cheese. One, two. I'm trying to do this quick because I have to turn the air off in my car to record and not have it sound super terrible on your end. And it's hot here. It's 73 degrees already. Don't ask me why I'm wearing a sweatshirt because I don't know why. I need to take this off. Oh yeah, this is ham. Okay, normally I put apple on it, but today, since we are trying to do this expeditiously, this looks so sad. It's just meat, cheese, Dijon mustard, and a spinach and herb wrap. There's a little greens in here because of the spinach and herb wrap. I gotta take this off. Much better. Okay, let's go. This wrap wasn't half bad without the apple that I usually put on there. Not the same, but I am going to follow up that wrap with something very adult of me. I have some go-go squeezes. This is an apple-apple flavor. Mix it up. These things are the jam. Although, in my humble opinion, I think that the Kirkland, the Costco brand, is better than the go-go squeeze. I was sitting here thinking, my face is awfully red, and then I remembered I've not put on sunscreen. Whoa, whoa, whoa, I'm not ready yet. Hold on. It's rude that they didn't hold that light for me. Now I look really red. At least I will be protected from the sun's rays. I'm frozen in motion. This already looks so cool. Let's see if we can find some shade. Look over here. Let's go in this spot. A little moose. Oh, you dumped your water. Okay, let's go explore. Spice this up a little bit and take all of my work stuff out of my backpack like so. Cinch this down. Okay, I have 20 pounds in my backpack right now, and this is supposed to help me just be more active, I guess. Make this a little bit harder for me since walking is not exactly... That worked out well. Oh yeah, look at that. That's what that college degree got me. Sweet. We are off to the races in search of a map because I have no idea what trails are out here. I just saw pictures and it looked cool. The very thing we wished for. We are going to look at the map in the shade and figure out where we'd like to go. It is 1.7 miles. It looks like most of the trails here are longer, which is fantastic, except that Zora can only do about two and a half, three miles max, which means that the options were 1.7 miles or four miles, and four miles is just a little too long, so we are going for the 1.7 mile trail. Looks like we have some company out here. Our first boardwalk, and I think this is the first of the only one. Oh, that's a big bee. Holy crap. Sorry. Number two. I didn't think we were going to have more than one boardwalk. This is a treat. Anyone care to go for a dip? This is so green. Keep your eyes peeled for... Holy crap, that's a big bee. Keep going. Zora trying to eat it. This is Cypress Pond, aptly named, thanks to the cypress trees. That is a cypress tree. You can tell it's a cypress tree by the way it is. Zora versus the bee. Silly thing. Great. I know you can't hear me right now over the air conditioning, but that is completely okay because it is hot. That's a lie. That is absolutely a lie, but it's still ridiculously hot. I have this sitting in the sun. It reads 107. Let's tell you what that is in Celsius. 41 degrees Celsius. So, I'm going to be in Florida for a while, and I have three pairs of shoes with me. I have my tennis shoes, vans, and a pair of boots, and that's it. And shower shoes, but I don't think those really count because those are not meant to be worn outside, and I never wear them outside. And I need a pair of flip-flops because I cannot keep tying shoes every time I want to go outside, especially when it's 80 something degrees out. Like that's silly. I need a pair of slip-ons. So, we are going to go find a pair of flip-flops. While we are on that topic, I'm thinking also I'm still in the park, so don't worry. I'm not like on busy roads right now, but I'm thinking it might be fun to put together a video of my minimalist wardrobe. I have a couple of a couple of ideas of how I would go about filming that video, and I feel like a lot of you would be interested to see just how many clothes I actually have with me. I see the spot we want. Yeehaw, look at that. We've arrived. All right, so a couple things need to happen. One, I have to pee so bad. And two, I need to chug this immediately because I am well behind on my hydration for the day. I try and drink three or four of these Nalgene's per day, and I am at one maybe. Maybe one. Maybe only a half. Regardless, I need hydration. I'm mixing up a little Arnold Palmer homemade version. I just put a crystallite lemonade and a crystallite sweet tea in here, peach tea. That's good. Tasty stuff right there. Notice what has happened to my water bottle? We are currently walking around Pier Park, which is a giant outdoor mall. A little pit stop back at the car because I need contact solution. My contacts are driving me crazy right now. That's so much better. Okay, we can resume shopping. My co-worker is napping on the job. Zora, you ready? You want to go? That's what I thought. You know we have to go in here. It's a gator. I'm so tempted to get this. Come on. Six, seven, seven. Winner, winner, chicken dinner. All right, success. Now we have to go find some food because we're hungry and Moose is tired, so we're gonna go chill for a bit. It doesn't get much better than this. I was recommended this place. It is chaos out there. We made it back. Here's the deal. It is two o'clock and the dog is begging for a nap. I need to get work done because I'm now very behind on editing. So you know what that means. It is so long for now. Hopefully the next time you see us we'll be in a quieter town and find a hidden gem here in Florida. At least that's the goal. I don't know if it'll pan out in time for the next video, but maybe the next next video or the next next next video or you know you get the idea.
