Morning in Arches National Park | 4Runner Camping

Here we go! Utah, here we come. I don't think you can see them in the camera. And we're like little ants and I am almost 100% sure that we are all going to Delicate Arch. So here's to making some friends this morning. Okay, arrived. That's not too bad. There's like four cars here. Could be much worse. Good morning. It is 5 45 and me and some of my closest friends who I have yet to meet are gonna go hike Delicate Arch at 5 45 in the morning and hopefully avoid some crowds. We'll find out. The parking lot is looking relatively hopeful. There's only four or five cars here so far so I am excited. Here I go. It is about a mile and a half to the arch and it says it is moderately strenuous so we'll see what that means. So I was walking along and there were some people in front of me. I'm like, where'd they go? Can't see their headlamps. We started climbing. Look at all the little dots. Those are all people. What I'm finding out is that my headlamp is very not bright. I really hope I'm going the right direction because I can't see anything. My last chance. Or to see the other side. Show me where to go. And there's no telling what you'll find. Oh, this could be my last chance. Or to see the other side. Oh, this could be my last chance. This looks so different during the day. I don't remember walking this at all. Made it back to the start. It's 8 30 and there is not a single spot in this parking lot. All right, it was a successful hike. About three miles round trip and I didn't stay for the sun to completely rise over the top, but it was getting pretty busy. So I headed out and I'm going to go find a new spot and cook up some breakfast.
