I think there is snow in my eyelashes.
The sun is trying to sneak up and tell the snow, excuse me, excuse me snow,
when did we agree that you are going to be here? Say hello to spring, spring vibes.
Wow, excuse me Vienna weather, when exactly did you clear out the clouds?
What a beautiful view of Motivkirche, you know it was snowing a few minutes ago.
Look at that, let's just go in, let's invite ourselves to the table.
Where we spotlight life as it happens here in Vienna. In this moment I'm here at
Sigmund Freud, I just arrived here, I took a walk all the way from Augartenbrücke
through the Bergasse and I've arrived here and it's so beautiful, it's really beautiful.
If I tell you that it was snowing a few minutes ago, literally minutes, I don't think it's even
been like five minutes ago, you're not gonna believe me. I don't know if it shows on my
face because I have a lot of water on my face but yeah, here we are at Sigmund Freud park
and we are back into spring weather and so I would like to show you, to take you on a walk
from Augartenbrücke to Motivkirche behind me during snow. Let's see, yeah there you go,
so I'm gonna be taking you through a walk and I hope that you're going to enjoy it.
What the actual fact, what the actual fact is going on? Snow in April, what the hell is going on?
So okay, in this moment I'm here at the beautiful Daunau canal
and I just want to take a walk when it's snowing in April.
Yeah, I want to take you on a nice lovely walk when it's raining in spring. Yes,
let's go for a nice walk in the spring. So I'm going to take us to walk along the
Bergersee which is quite a beautiful street and yeah, let's walk and let's end up at,
let's go and let's end up at Motivkirche. Yes, oh my gosh, my face is now completely covered.
What, what am I doing?
Yeah, so Bergersee is one of the beautiful streets I know here in the 9th district.
That, what you're looking at now is the 9th district and on my right side is the Daunau canal
and that's the police, the central police I guess. I'm just walking fast actually.
I've shown you this, if you're watching my videos regularly, you see these bridges a lot.
I cannot see. I'm literally eating, I'm eating snow. Oh my god, so emergency.
Always. Is it a big city thing? I don't know but there's always some kind of an emergency. Oh,
this is open. There's always some type of an emergency. That's what I've discovered.
When I'm walking, I never really, what the hell, so when you're here you can see
Motivkirche somewhere at the end and it would make more sense to walk here. Should we walk
here or go here? Let's go to Bergersee because that was the plan. It's more beautiful anyway.
This is Rosauerlemde. We are right now going across Rosauerlemde. I think it's very beautiful
and where we're coming from. So let's just walk along Bergersee. Such a beautiful street.
Right now it's a lockdown. We have a total lockdown so everything is closed. Wow,
where is this snow coming from? Today is April, ah is it 5th? Let me check.
Wow, if I can find my phone. Yes, found it. Okay, let's just have a look at Universität Wien,
the Faculty of Mathematics and let's keep going. Yeah, today is April the 6th.
At this moment it's 4.11 pm and actually it's not really cold. It's actually not cold.
I wouldn't say it's cold. So along this street as we walk, this is a famous street where
this guy who invented psychoanalysis, Sigmund Freud, I hope I'm saying the name correctly
and can we just point out this Möbelbier. Möbelbier. Look at my hands, full of snow.
Key cutting service. We completely forgot about this. Oh, I think there is snow in my eyelashes
and of course this is a time for the blooms. It actually became super warm
just towards the end of March
and I think nature was completely set for a wonderful spring. You know this is
beautiful. But we are going, we are going on Bergese, Rebhorn, best schnitzel in town.
Oh my gosh, I cannot see. I literally cannot see. Wow, so now we are in Bergese. You see the
lovely spring blooms. Let's just have a look and see where we're coming from.
Okay, now the snow is hitting me from the back of my head so I can open my eyes.
So I'm asking myself which is the best site to walk that will give us the best views.
So I spoke about Sigmund Freud. Here is probably where he had his practice,
this Sigmund Freud museum. I will go. Just look, beautiful. I want to cross
to this side because I feel like it's more beautiful to walk from here. Yes, beautiful.
Bergese, ladies and gentlemen. Sigmund Freud. So yeah, I think it's not really cold, like extra
cold. I think it's like four degrees. So let's see if we can make it to Potivke. It's not very far.
This is always such an interesting climb here. And now we are making a short stop at
Lichterseinstrasse which, oh my gosh, it's one also of the very beautiful streets here in
the 9th district. And we're still on Bergese. Oh gosh, this snow is hitting my face. I cannot
open my eyes. That's me trying to clean the camera. Bergese. Okay, let me go through.
Covid test station. Let's not forget where we're coming from. Wow, snowflakes in my eyes.
What the actual hell. I cannot see. Oh, that's a tough climb actually.
This is the famous Waringerstrasse. And oh, ladies and gentlemen, say hello.
To the old tram. Okay, just keep going. Are we already? I should. Okay, I was forgetting.
I'm actually supposed to turn here at Waringerstrasse. If I'm gonna go to
Motivkje. Should I? Okay. Shops are all closed. Okay, maybe not all.
Once upon a time, that actually used to be a coal bar. This one in red.
Here goes the siren again. Welcome to Vienna. Wow. Here we are at Motivkje. So beautiful.
Look at that. The sun is also coming up. So I'm thinking the best way is for us to go here around
Hotel Regina. We are looking at Hotel Regina in this moment, if I'm not wrong.
Yep, this is Hotel Regina. So here is Motivkje. Ouch. Snowflakes in my mouth, my eyes,
everywhere. I mean, the ninth district is beautiful. Oh, this is a snowflakes attack.
Attack. Watch it as it fades away. You see, snowflakes giving me special effects
on my camera, on my video. Yeah, so let's walk around the Motivkje. I've never been inside the
Motivkje personally, but like all the beautiful churches that are super beautiful here in Vienna,
let's just say Austria. If a church is so beautiful outside, it's almost guaranteed
it's not gonna be beautiful inside. But if it's ugly as hell outside, then walk in.
What is this? The city, the land of music. I'm going to try and find out what that is all about
and I will share with you. Yeah, we are in Motivkje. Yes, such a good place to end up.
Nice. My god, let's walk around. Pointing out romantic lanterns. That's what the city of Vienna
has explained to us and I think, okay, let's just have a look at the sun. Can you see the sun
somewhere out there? Yes, yes. Okay, cool. So, I'm informed by some very informed person
that a long time ago, these lanterns used to be powered by gas. My question is,
where did the gas, where did they have the gas? Gas in terms of gasoline or what?
They used to be powered by gas. Wow, one moment detail. What is here? Okay, it's faded.
Oh my gosh, I'm literally being attacked by...
I'm being attacked by snow, snowflakes. I don't know if we can read what is here but
it's saying props Dr. Josef Havala. Yeah, these romantic lanterns used to be powered by
gas. Maybe that would be the emblem of the city of Vienna
and this here is the reason we are all here. A Tiefkirche in snow in spring. Let's just walk
around. This is April 6th, in case you are confused. A Tiefkirche and now I think we are
already in the first district. We are looking at the first district, if I'm not wrong. Yeah,
because when you go this direction, you'll get to Rathaus but we are not going to Rathaus today.
The sun is trying to sneak up and tell the snow, excuse me, excuse me snow.
When did we agree that you are going to be here? I'm actually coming here so that I can see
a better view of the church. Wow, snow plus the sun. This is beautiful.
Where are you coming from? Beautiful, beautiful, beautiful. So, can we call this place the
Fortift Garten? So cool. There are lots and lots and lots and lots of seats. I love this combination
of the sun and the snow. What is this, ladies and gentlemen? What is that? What is this thing here?
So, has anyone ever seen Fortift Kirche and not been under construction? Because I haven't.
And let me know, have you been inside the Fortift Kirche already?
I can actually, I can actually feel the warmth of the sun on me which is nice. Okay, so I guess
let's go here and that will take us to that structure there and when we get there,
I'm gonna finish the video. So, where are we going? Let's have a look at what is this.
How do you, how to get there? On that end is Cafe Fonse, Fonse, how do you say Fonse?
On this end you'll see Cafe Fonse, Fonse, Francaise Fonse. And when you look at this side,
this little tip here is the Rathaus, the Wiener Rathaus. Oops, snowflakes in my nose.
Yeah, for some reason I think Fortift Kirche has always been under construction
since time immemorial. Oh my gosh, I'm eating snowflakes in this moment. I'm drinking water
from heaven. Wow, it's a beautiful lamp. Let's go here. Wow, the gold detail. Can you see the gold
details? Somewhere here. So beautiful. Super. And the sky has cleared. So, here we have a really
beautiful view of Hotel Regina. There's a Kinder Spielplatz here and I'm trying to make my way
to this park. Let's do that. We might have a lovely view of Fortift Kirche from there.
This is so interesting. Yeah, so a moment ago when we started the video,
I think I was on a street down here and I was able to see the Fortift Kirche from there.
Beautiful. Okay, it's time for me to go and it's not. Wow, this is beautiful. Cafe Fonse.
Let me just look at this building here. And so we are just about to go to the blooms,
the spring blooms. Come on, green light. Let's go. Wow, the sun. Wow, such a nice feeling.
And say hello to spring. Spring vibes. Yeah, so I was told the name of these
blooms. These are like the really big blooms. Let me go on this side
so that we see them in the light. I was told the name of these particular blooms
but I don't know. The sun actually feels really good in this moment.
Yeah, these are really quite big blooms.
And now the sun is shining.
Beautiful. So let's have a look at the Fortift Kirche. Wow. Excuse me,
Vienna weather. When exactly did you clear out the clouds? So I was told the name of these
blooms, the big ones, but I don't remember. Yes, the name is in German. I cannot remember.
Look at this one's perfect color. Wow, this is actually the best feeling ever.
You know what? Let me go here because the idea is that we get into this garden.
Interesting structure there. So let me just stand here. I don't know how my face looks like.
Let me stand here and let my face. Wow. Oh my gosh, this feels good. Can I see?
This feels good. So let me try and go and get you guys better small beautiful
views of spring. Let's go look for the spring blooms in this beautiful Fortif garden.
I actually don't know what this garden is called. Look at that view. If you remember,
this is a police, this little, you can see it very small here,
is a police, central police building. And so we just walked, actually we started the
walk somewhere here, walked up and came here. Okay, maybe that does not make sense.
Wow, the reflections on the floor. I love it. The sun. Such a nice feeling of the sun.
You know, after you have been attacked by snowflakes, excuse me, I'm super distracted
by this building. Wow. It looks very beautiful. So we are looking at Shortentor.
That's Shortentor there. And beyond that is the first district. This is the
Vienna University. And so I think here you will find a lot of times there will be students here.
Excuse me. Hello, ladies and gentlemen. What a beautiful view of Motifkia. You know,
I'm going to position us somewhere here in the middle or here. Let's start somewhere in the
middle. Let's go right in the middle. I think the middle will be somewhere here.
Here, so that we can see the Motifkia. Oh my gosh, I am already in the middle, I think.
Oh my gosh. Wow. Okay, let's move a little bit to the back. Okay, what a nice view. But this tree,
this tree here. Oh my God. Okay, like seriously, this is such a beautiful view
of Motifkia. Oh my God. Like by the time I think I'm gonna have this video at the beginning of the
video, you will not be able to believe that it was snowing a few minutes ago. You're not gonna
be able to believe that. Wow. Incredible. This is beautiful. And so, of course, there are some
people who've come here. This is the Chotentor station. And look at these spring blooms.
For how long do these spring blooms last? What I know is that they don't last for very long.
Okay, so I'm trying to look for those. Ah, here is the information. I was trying to
look for this information so that we know exactly what is the name of this garden.
Get a little bit of information about the garden. While that happens, let's look at this. Okay.
Ah, okay, this is the Sigmund Freud Park. Okay, this is the Sigmund Freud Park.
And this is the guy who, okay, yeah, I already mentioned this at the beginning. The guy who
started the psychoanalysis between 1856-1939.
Okay, so let's enjoy this place for a couple of minutes. See what's going on here.
Wow, beautiful. So, I said that I'm gonna go all the way to this structure here,
somewhere here, and I'm gonna finish the video at that point. Let's do that. Sigmund Freud
Park. Actually, I didn't even know it's called Sigmund Freud Park. Hello. Sigmund Freud Park.
So interesting. What is this structure? Yeah, and quite interesting trees actually.
Looks like some really old trees. Let's see, what is this? There's this structure here,
and there's that one there. First of all, let's have a look at this. We're gonna go around it.
I think we can just say this is art. We can call it art. So nice. And let's have a look at this one
here. Nice round table of stone. Ah, they have names. Estlan, Zepan, Ungan. Okay,
Cieszyn, Czech. I think that's Czech. Ungan is Hungary. Slovenia, Slovakia.
What is the name of this country? Poland. That could be Poland.
Malta. I don't recognize these countries. Ah, Lithuania. This is Lithuania. Lithuania.
This is Lettland. But what is this? Estland is which one? And Zepan is which one?
So I think this gives us the best view. Wow. Look at that. Let's just go in. Let's invite
ourselves to the table and see what is going on here. Right here at the beautiful
Sigmund Freud Park. So, wow, this is so interesting. This actually has been a tour for me as well.
What an interesting, lovely park to find and what a nice walk. Snow in the
spring. I hope you've enjoyed that lovely walk and until next video, tschüss, wiedersehen.
Nice beautiful place. Vienna in spring. I don't know if you have been here before.
In this garden. Let me know. But I think this is one of those places that I've been here before,
yes. I've been here and I've seen this too before but I just really did not pay a lot of attention
to it. I've paid no attention to it. Very interesting.
Glamour Christmas.
