FAQ:
What equipment do you use? I have a Canon 700D, a Canon Powershot S120 Black and a GoPro Hero 3+ Black. I edit on my Acer 8GB RAM laptop.
How did you learn to edit? Mainly I taught myself. I downloaded Premiere Pro and began to figure out how to use it through trial and error. Eventually, and with the help of many tutorials, you start to figure out what works.
What work are you doing? Right now I am running my video blog while doing freelance web design to supplement my travelling.
How do you meet the people in your videos? Hostels, guesthouses and conversations! You meet people so easily while travelling. Just open yourself up and you will meet all sorts of amazing people.

Good morning, right now I'm in the jungle in Borneo
but I want to forget that for a second and take you back to over a year ago
when I trekked to Annapurna to see the sunrise.
I did this for my bucket list project called Challenge365
and I filmed the whole journey with three of my friends but I never edited
it until now. So without further ado I want to show
you that trip, here goes.
Okay we're on the way to the trek in Nayapul
and this is the best bus we've ever been on.
So this is the start of our walk to Poonhill. Poonhill
eventually will be about three and a half thousand meters up. We haven't
really, we've done it with minimal planning to be honest.
We got our permits yesterday and we've rented a couple things like we rented
the jackets and trousers but I don't know if we'll need them.
But yeah this is pretty beautiful, this is our
home for the next four days. This is where we have to check in
and show our permits for going around Annapurna.
So we've just done that, it was really easy and it basically means that
if we're lost or killed they know.
Roughly. One hour of walking down, only about four days to go.
Honestly everywhere you look the scenery is just crazy,
it's so beautiful. I've been wanting to film everything
but if I did that it'd be like an hour long.
Seriously it's crazy. Right we've been walking for a couple of hours so we're
taking our first chai break. Chai five. Are we lost?
No we're not lost. Okay it's about four o'clock now and we're just about to
arrive into Tikidunga, which is our first stop for the night.
So we're going to find a guest house and get some food.
Right we just found this hotel for 150 rupees each
which is one pound. It's pretty good.
So this is like Nepali thali called dal bhat
which is 350 rupee, so two pound. Not bad. Room and board plus food
for three quid. Right that's it for today.
Finish with a beer, end of day one. Good morning.
That's our breakfast which is about 80p. Yeah.
All right and we're off again. Day two. I want to ride the pony. Hey buddy.
This bit's starting to get a bit of a steeper climb
and nice wake up anyway. I'll tell you this is a trek.
So we're about halfway to Girapani which is our stop for the night.
So we decided to stop here for some tea and for some lunch and check out the view.
Really good. Beautiful lunch, instant noodles
and tea. Lunch of kings. Look. Nice.
Industrial bag. And we're off again. Some of this is really
beautiful. It's quite a difficult walk but
you just look around the corner and there's something else that looks awesome.
Right we might have taken a slight wrong turn and be going the wrong way
but I don't know now. So we end up where we end up
which might be taking a slightly longer route. Right so we are going slightly the
wrong way. We're heading to Meheri Danda or
something like that instead of Girapani but it's fine.
We're in no rush. We'll get there eventually.
Turns out we are going the right way. We've just come through
Nagatangi which means we're about one and a half hours away from
Girapani which I don't know if I've mentioned yet
but that's where we're staying tonight.
Yeah. Girapani.
Right we have our room sorted which is this. Pretty nice.
Although the camera is a bit blurry and it was a hundred rupees each.
It's like 60p isn't it?
I still tried to get it for free but
And a nice view.
Day two complete. Right it's six in the morning.
Just woke up at five and an hour in the pitch black to get up here
and now we're just waiting for the sunrise.
Right check this out.
Oh this is absolutely awesome. 3,200 meters up.
Bloody freezing but completely worth it. It's absolutely awesome.
Well that was incredible. One of the best things I think I've seen.
But now we've got to start again and start walking today.
So Pone Hill. Awesome. Incredible. Freezing. Amazing. Cool.
Yeah I'm running out of superlatives but it was really good and now we've got to
head back all the way back down the mountain so I
won't film that but I'm Jordan Simons and this is
challenge 365.
