New! "Wood-Flame" Gas Burner Adapter & "Emberglow" Ti Heat Diffuser for Firebox brand wood burning stoves including our flagship 5" G2 Firebox, G2 Nano, Scout and Freestyle. Pre-Oredr deals now available for a limited time! See below for links.
The "Wood Flame" is revolutionary in two ways: #1, The air / fuel mixture can be tuned by rotating the intake adjustment collar to adjust the flame pattern to best suit your needs and environmental conditions. Mostly closed creates a slow nearly silent orange flame similar to what you get with a traditional campfire burning wood. Perfect for creating a true to camping ambience. Mostly open creates a fast blue high BTU flame perfect for fast boiling or cooking. #2 is the "Emberglow Titanium Heat Diffuser which disperses heat to a wider area for more even pan cooking or can be used to create radiant heat for grilling. The high melting point of Titanium allows the Emberglow Diffuser Plate to glow red hot just like an ember, great for cooking marshmallows or grilling your favorite meats.
*Clicks into place on all Firebox Stoves (G2 Original Firebox, Firebox Nano, *Firebox Scout, Firebox Freestyle). *Is compliant with most fire ban regulations (check local requirements). *Intake air adjustment collar produces a variable flame pattern from fast blue for boiling or cooking, to a slow quiet orange flame for a traditional campfire ambiance. *Ti Emberglow Diffuser Plate spreads the heat for larger pots or pans or functions as a radiant heat source for grilling or roasting marshmallows. *Air intake holes are oversized to accommodate more air at higher elevations.

Introducing the Wood Flame, a gas burner adapter for firebox wood-burning stoves.
Camping isn't camping without a campfire, not to mention roasting meat.
We've been doing it since the dawn of time. It's our evolutionary right.
But what about fire restrictions? Generally, the only stove fuel allowed during a fire ban
is pressurized gas. Fear not, my friends. Firebox logic has changed what a gas burner can be.
Campfire ambiance? Yes. The Firebox Wood Flame can provide a slow, nearly silent orange flame
that's mesmerizing to watch, yet is fully compliant with most fire ban regulations.
It also has a one-of-a-kind titanium diffuser plate, the Ember Glow. It radiates the perfect
heat for roasting. All the fun of burning wood with the safety of a shutoff valve.
It's all in the name, Wood Flame. Mike, please show us how it works.
Thanks, Steve. Let's get to it. The Wood Flame consists of a fuel regulator,
shielded flexible hose, burner assembly, mounting pins, and attached Ember Glow diffuser plate.
Be sure to read the included instructions prior to use.
This burner has several innovative design features to expand and enhance your cooking
and camping experience. The air intake holes are purposely oversized to accommodate more
air at higher elevations. The air mixture fuel can be tuned by rotating the intake adjustment
collar to produce a flame pattern from a fast jet blue for boiling and cooking,
to a slow wood-burning orange flame for that traditional camping ambience.
The titanium Ember Glow diffuser plate spreads the heat for larger pops or pans,
and also functions as a radiant heat source for grilling or even roasting marshmallows.
The high melting point of titanium allows for the plate to glow red hot, just like an ember.
Before installing the burner, you want to ensure that your air control is set for its planned use
prior to installing. Mostly open holes makes more of a typical stovetop flame.
Half of the way closed tones it down a bit and makes it quieter. Mostly closing the air
intake holes can transform a camp's ambience with its iconic slow orange wood flame that's
near silent. We don't recommend to fully open or close the air intake, as fully open can push the
flame too far from the burner causing sputtering, and fully closed causes a flame that produces smoke.
The setup is simple. Start by opening the stove and insert the gas burner pins through the outer
second row of slots. These are the highest placement for the burner pins for the Freestyle.
Guide the regulator between the pins and out one of the feed holes, then clip the burner onto the
pins on both sides. The spring tension of the burner bracket holds the Freestyle securely open,
and that's it. It's that simple. This process can be used for all firebox stoves,
but the slots for the burner pins will vary. The burner pins are not required since the
nanosticks can be used instead. And that's it folks, back to you Steve. Thank you for checking
