The Breakdance 5 is coming. A lot of new rides from the Bruce Park Attractions.
A huge relaunch and comeback of the biggest flatride builder ever.
That's what we're talking about here in this video.
Welcome to the RedBull Video Magazine and a new video on my part.
And you heard right, we're talking about the Breakdance 5 today.
We'll show you where the first one is going, what it's going to be called, what it's going to look like.
We already gave you a little sneak peek a year ago about the Breakdance 5.
Today there is more information and, as I said, there is already something to see.
In addition, new signature rides from Huss Park Attractions,
which we have already shown you in a small excerpt and you were allowed to guess what could come.
And we're talking about the comeback, the renaissance of Huss Park Attractions.
Huss, or really completely Huss Park Attractions,
designs, develops, builds and supports flatrides,
i.e. carousel rides in the broadest sense.
And that for theme parks, amusement parks and also for the fairs.
You've all ridden anything at some point and have all seen something from Huss.
The story of Huss from Bremen is over a century old
and you look back on over 50 years of experience and expertise in the leisure business.
And now a completely new chapter is being opened.
And from today, or from now on, there is the new website from Huss.
Of course, I'll link you in the video description.
But that's only if you've watched the video to the end.
And as part of this, Huss Creators Service and a new product portfolio are now presented.
There are 22 different attractions, five of which are signature rides.
And there are also two new immersive attractions and two new models.
And why is it all so special now?
Huss was the first significant manufacturer of flatrides in the world.
And there are a total of 65 different models
and over 1,000 delivered installations by Huss Park Attractions.
It has really established itself since 1970,
but a lot has changed in recent years and it has now been adapted.
And that was the important thing, recognizing trends and expanding the portfolio.
And above all, reacting to the increasing demand for major flatrides.
And above all, that these are individual, have adapted theming
and can now also get new lighting options at Huss.
And what is also very important is that you no longer only use Thrillseeker,
but also the whole family.
And don't worry, as a Thrillseeker you don't have to scream directly now.
And there's something special about Huss.
High quality, safe rides, robust and durable.
Which may be a problem in the end,
because these rides are so durable and robust that you don't sell anything new anymore.
And as an example, the first Huss facility is still in operation.
For 50 years there has been a Huss ride in operation.
And by the way, there are always spare parts for Huss rides.
That was always a myth that Huss just didn't have spare parts.
That's not true.
Sometimes it's just not economical to somehow repair rides with spare parts.
Or were then parks the spare parts too expensive?
And so on and so forth.
I've already explained that a million times here, I think.
In order to create completely new experiences
and not just sell exciting rides, there is Huss Creative.
And this is about special experiences for the guests,
but also to help the park at the same time to present their visions and remarks.
That means from the first drawing to the finished product, everything comes from one hand.
So the ride hardware, the idea, theming, lighting and so on and so forth.
The customer gets a design manual with illustrations,
color schemata, logo creation and specific design elements.
And the special thing is that you are directly in the design process with Huss.
With the first sketch, it is already clear what is feasible and what is not in this type of ride.
That immediately from the outset, idea, design and everything around it,
fits together with the ride that you are currently designing and developing.
That saves the customer a lot of time and, above all, money.
Because otherwise you have to convey the feasibility to a design office, for example.
And then in the end it's always called Kill Your Darlings.
The new Signature Rides.
We have already given you a little sneak peek in London,
what the five new Signature Rides from Huss Park Attractions could be.
And we have shown you a few catalogs in detail.
And not to reveal too much, but let you guess what it could be.
The whole thing was presented a little later in Orlando at the fair,
but not yet revealed.
And now, for the first time here in this video,
we show you the five new Signature Rides from Huss Park Attractions.
And even with motion pictures.
Let's start with the Breakdance 5.
We have already shown you, you have already seen it animated.
It's not that big of a surprise.
And we'll show you the design, name, optics and location of the first Breakdance 5,
which will open soon.
Breakdance 5, a new edition of the absolute classic, no question.
And there are of course a few special features like the Operator Center Stage.
Means that the Operator can stand in the middle of the ride
and can operate it from there and has a better interaction with the passengers.
Then there is also the principle of two entrances for Family and Thrill Rider.
There are show rides as well as freeride patterns that are purely physics-based.
But also new to this is Booster Revolution.
The booster comes back, people may not be so happy,
because there are probably only two boosters in the world and both belong to the same owner.
Of course, I would not be so excited if my monopole falls away.
And you may have seen boosters before.
These free-swinging gondolas can sometimes also overlap due to the blatant rocking.
And as it looks here, there are over-the-shoulder lap bars.
Looks really, really cool and definitely exciting that the ride comes back like this.
Then there is the Troika 2G.
Also a Hus Original Flat Ride and here a new edition with improved design.
Unique ride patterns are of course also available here.
And I really like the design and optics, the theming.
And with such a ride you really appeal to a very wide audience.
And it's just a really, really, really nice ride.
Almost extinct in Europe.
Of course, there are still copies of it.
In the USA there are definitely a few more and I'm glad that something like this is coming back.
And that's also very good for people who can't stand it when there's a lot going on.
Then there is the Spinning Cruiser.
Should more or less simulate an entertaining cruise with unpredictable accelerations and sudden turns.
So every ride is individual.
And of course there are show rides and Limitless Free Ride Patterns.
Various themes can of course also be used here.
Lighting, of course, and so on and so forth.
Center Stage is also available here for the operator so that he can interact more with the guests.
Super cool and a mixture of a lot of host rides.
There is another new edition with the Magic 2G.
You all know Magic.
Lifting and turning creates different ride patterns and a constantly changing feeling of acceleration.
Due to the up and down movement, the so-called airtime also arises, i.e. the weightlessness that you then have.
That's the tingling feeling in your stomach.
But what I have to say, what I really hate about this part right now, is that this design and this concept is not mine.
How cool does that look?
This is another absolute final stage.
Immersive, extremely thematized Storytelling Concept Ride.
Mega good.
I like this style 100 million percent.
And I hate it when someone says more than 100 percent because it makes no sense.
The new Signature Rides are based on existing technologies, of course, but have been brought to the latest level and expanded with new exciting functions.
If you have any questions about this and generally about HUS topics, feel free to write them in the comments.
I will be happy to answer them next week together with HUS and bring you the answers again.
So everything you want to know, put it in the comments.
Next week I'll meet with HUS and then we'll be happy to clarify it.
The question will arise 100 percent, especially when we talk about HUS Park Attractions and show and describe how we do it.
What about the journey?
What about Kirmes systems?
And with the new Signature Rides it is like this.
The Breakdance 5 and the Booster Revolution will also be available as a travel system.
With innovative podiums and backturns.
Also with the Center Stage.
And the whole thing can then be set up with a crane on one day with a small crew.
What I would like to touch on again is this concept.
I've talked about Family and Trill before.
It's a bit like One Ride Fits All at HUS.
And you have, for example, Breakdance 5, two entrances.
One entrance is for Family and the other entrance is for Trill.
And then it is so that people are allowed in alternately or depending on others.
And then there is a family-friendly ride and a very thrilling ride.
You can then cover that with different show rides or ride patterns.
This also allows you to ride with just over a meter in body size.
The new gondolas from HUS are also all built more generously so that they offer more space inside.
And have single brackets.
And in general, with these big flat rides, the footprint is actually relatively small.
Full, the blatantly large capacity.
You can also set it individually, depending on the number of visitors in the park.
Shorter ride on very full days, longer ride on very empty days and so on and so forth.
So that you can intervene individually.
And you also have big flat rides again between big coasters and so on and so forth.
And I say, the best example is simply Talucan and Phantasialand.
This is not only for driving, but also for watching an attraction.
And an important component in a park next to roller coasters.
I already mentioned two new immersive rides at the beginning.
There is now about the Skytower Multimedia and the Shot'n Drop Multimedia.
Skytower you know, usually tower ride with a view.
Here with virtual reality quasi and you see something different than the environment outside.
Such a tower is very cool in a park from the outside to look at it.
And yes, this is an amusement park, I see it from afar, this is such a big tower, how cool.
Maybe the view is not so cool and then you can do the whole thing differently with such a technology.
And the first Skytower Multimedia is delivered and is waiting to be built.
What I find even more exciting is the Shot'n Drop Multimedia.
And that's an awesome, thrilling indoor attraction.
You have a Shot'n Drop Tower and then play the whole thing from the inside, i.e. indoor and with content.
So that you are practically shot into space.
I think that's a great idea, I can really, really well imagine.
Very, very exciting, I would definitely be up for it.
And of course the whole thing is very suitable either as an amusement park attraction or as a stand-alone attraction.
And then of course has the advantage, you only need a very small area.
And you can do this attraction all year round, because this attraction is indoor and thus weather-independent.
Super interesting and exciting in my opinion and something completely different with these multimedia-based rides,
what you've seen lately.
So now it's time, the first Breakdance 5 Fireball premiere, in Vienna Prater in Austria.
Before we look at how the whole thing looks, behind the Prater project is the renowned Austrian real estate developer
and amusement park operator Helmut Steiner.
Design and implementation Rende & Slamanning.
And before you now say, amusement park operator, what kind of amusement park does he run?
That would be PlayWorld Spielberg, if you are interested.
The name of the first Breakdance 5, which will soon be opened in Vienna Prater, is Laserdance.
And the Breakdance will be in an open building, i.e. a building with an open front.
The whole thing looks very strong in my opinion.
And the way it looks on these concepts and artworks, I could also imagine very cool show rides.
This will be the first Breakdance 5, soon in Vienna Prater in Austria, Laserdance.
And your opinion about all these novelties and amusement park attractions in general, or your questions about amusement park attractions,
all in the comments, we will clarify everything in one of the next videos here on the RideReview YouTube channel.
