Hello everyone, this is Ahmed Dan. If you look at my Pixel 8 Pro, you can see that I have two
Shortcuts on the locked screen. On the left, there's the camera and on the right there's the
Flashlight and you can put these shortcuts on your Pixel 8 Pro and for these to work
You don't have to actually open your phone. It would work without even opening your phone and in this video
I'll show you how it works. So let's say I have the shortcut here if I want to work
The shortcut then I have to just like, you know, press for a few seconds and you can see that
you know, it's just started the camera and then
The flashlight would be the same thing and these come in very handy if you're like, you know
You don't have to open the phone and do the go through the whole process just for flashlight or camera or many other things
So I'm going to show you how so in order to create lock screen shortcuts
You have to hold and press on the desktop
So if you hold here and then you can see that you're getting that message customized lock screen
So if you click on it
Then it's asking you to unlock your phone
So if you unlock your phone and you can see that it's giving me a few options
So lock screen and home screen, so I'm just going to you know, go to lock screen and if I scroll down
Then here you can see that there's the option for
Shortcuts if I click on it
Then you're going to see two different sets of shortcuts. One is on the left, which is going to be right here
And one is on the right which is going to be right here
So for me on my left, I I chose to put camera and if we go to right on my right
I chose to put a flashlight, but you can change this or you have the option to put nothing and then once you do that
It's going to give you the option to open those
You know without opening your phone and you can see that there are a few other options
For example home mute button QR scanner video camera wallet
But I just need needed a camera and the flashlight and that's what I put
So once you choose that is going to put the flashlight or anything you put on
lock screen
Automatically and then when you just like, you know
Tap your phone then you're going to see the shortcuts on your left and right
