Hello, this is Historian Dobok.
There is a religion that we know well but don't know well among the religions that are commonly called the four major religions in the world.
It's Islam.
Islam is always discussed to understand and understand the world.
That's why Islam has left a lot of traces in the history of mankind.
So I prepared it.
Islam's history series.
The Islam religion was the last religion to be established among the four major religions in the world.
Other religions were established in the 7th century BC.
It is a religion that can be known until the exact year it was established.
The place where Islam was established was the Arabian Peninsula, where Saudi Arabia, Yemen, and Oman are located today.
On the Arabian Peninsula, there were various nations that did not have a huge country, but lived in nomads or businessmen.
Also, until Islam was created, various religions coexisted in this area.
At that time, the Middle East was dominated by the Persian Empire, but the territory of the Persian Empire did not reach the Arabian Peninsula.
The western part of the peninsula, which is called the Arabian Peninsula, especially the Hijaz region, was developed as a main road and became the center of commerce.
Mecca and Medina were very large commercial cities in the west coast of the Hijaz region.
As the business grew, there were more business nobles.
But the gap between the rich and the poor got worse.
And there were a lot of slaves.
It was Muhammad who appeared when the public's complaints about the serious gap between the rich and the poor and the atmosphere of demanding equality became widespread.
Muhammad, who was born in the Mecca tribe of Quraysh, was also a merchant who belonged to a fairly large merchant group, following his uncle from a young age.
The woman who married Muhammad was also an elderly woman with a very large age difference, and she was a merchant who ran a huge merchant group.
As such, Muhammad was a merchant belonging to the upper class in the Arabian Peninsula at the time in terms of his own economic aspect.
However, in 610, Muhammad kept saying that he was experiencing a strange phenomenon, and whenever he had a chance, he went to a foreign place to pray, and he began to take religious superstitions away from business.
According to Muhammad, when he was in the blood of Mecca's Hiraam, an angel Gabriel appeared and was told to receive the will of the Lord.
Surprised, Muhammad consulted his wife Khadija and the priest, and the priest called Muhammad a prophet.
Thus, Muhammad established his own religion, Islam.
Muhammad established the only god that only Allah is the absolute god.
Islam, founded by Muhammad, is a religion derived from Judaism and Christianity, and the meaning of Allah, which Muhammad assumes to be the absolute god, is also derived from Hebrew El,
and their Allah, which is also spoken in Islam, is the same as Yahweh spoken in Judaism and Christianity.
Religions derived from the Ghana region or the Middle East share the same religious foundation.
Maybe that's why when Muhammad first spread Islam, everyone considered it a Cyber religion.
Moreover, Muhammad condemned idolatry, but most religions at the time were idolatrous, so they criticized the religion of Muhammad who condemned idolatry,
and Muhammad was ruined at the top, his wife died, and he was exiled from the tribe of Quraysh, which was his original tribe.
Still, not everyone turned their backs on Muhammad.
There were a lot of people who committed Islam by going over the fervent bombardment of Muhammad,
and those who came to Mecca and went over the bombardment of Muhammad returned to their hometowns and re-bombarded Islam,
but in a place called Yathrib, 75 people decided to believe in Islam,
and Muhammad interpreted it as the meaning of God to move the center, and in 622, 12 years after the founding, he moved to a place called Yathrib with the remaining believers in Mecca.
This Yathrib is a place called Medina, and the movement of Muhammad from Mecca to Medina is called Hezira in Islam.
It means a holy movement.
In the days when Muhammad had nothing, the early believers of Islam, about 300 of them, were called Sahaba.
It was Muhammad who moved to Medina, but Muhammad chose to return to Mecca.
They were Muslims who had gathered in Medina, but they were too poor,
and Muhammad did not agree with the words that he was going to hit his hometown and his original tribe even if he tried to get help from other tribes in Medina.
At this time, in the Arabian Peninsula, the concept of C-nation was very important, and the concept of hitting his original tribe could not be accepted.
Inevitably, Muhammad kept his life by plundering the merchants passing by,
and this immorality was also called a holy war to maintain and spread the religion of Islam, and this was called a holy war.
In fact, there were some Jews who were still trying to help the Muslim believers of Muhammad,
but when the Jews turned their backs in fear of the Muslim believers who were plundering the merchants passing by,
Muhammad forced the Jews who helped him to leave Medina and escaped their property.
Meanwhile, the Quraysh of Muhammad, who was in Mecca, tried to send troops from Mecca to Medina to completely remove Muhammad.
But was it because of the plundering?
The Muslim believers of Muhammad were warriors who could fight,
and thanks to the sandstorm that helped the Muslim army, the army sent from Mecca was defeated.
As time went by, the size of the Muslim believers grew,
and in the meantime, Muhammad plundered or kicked out other religions or tribes from Medina that were oppressing Islam.
In particular, the Jews hated Muhammad, so the Quraysh tribe in Mecca tried to infiltrate,
but when Muhammad found out about this, he killed the Jews.
Muhammad expanded the power of Islam to the surrounding area,
and now the Quraysh of Mecca has grown to a level that cannot be treated recklessly.
In 630, Muhammad negotiated with the Quraysh, and 10,000 of them returned to Mecca with the Muslim army,
and finally, Muhammad, who returned to Mecca, said,
''Truth has returned, and falsehood has been destroyed.''
It wasn't just the Quraysh in Mecca.
After seeing this, it was the Quraysh's own problem that Muhammad created and spread a new religion,
but it was not just the Quraysh's problem that Muhammad went to Medina to disband and then expanded his forces to Mecca.
The reason why Muhammad was able to negotiate a lot with the Quraysh and become a Mecca is because there was a lot of public opinion in Mecca to support Muhammad.
As I said at the beginning of the video, the gap between the rich and the poor was very large in Mecca,
and of course, the number of the poor was much larger than the number of the rich.
Perhaps because of this, Muhammad emphasized equality in society,
and the majority of the poor in Mecca responded to Muhammad on the basis of such equality.
Also, Muhammad forced the business nobles in Mecca to convert to Islam.
Muhammad was definitely good at showmanship,
but he did not wear a crown, slept on a wooden bed, and did not wear fancy clothes.
Muhammad did not consider himself a king, and he was sincere in his propaganda that he was just a prophet and a prophetess who conveyed the meaning of Allah.
Muhammad continued the war to spread Islam throughout the Arabian Peninsula, saying that the holy war, that is, the jihad, was not over yet, and died in Medina in 632.
When you go to Medina, there is a temple called the Prophet's Mosque, and the remains of Muhammad are stored here.
Now, the successor of Muhammad would be the next issue.
Since Muhammad did not call himself a king, there was no law that the authority of Islam must be taken over.
Islam is not a country yet, and there was no country on the Arabian Peninsula before that.
Among the early scholars who founded and spread Islam with Muhammad,
someone who received more support had to follow Muhammad,
and the war between the supporters was a confrontation between Ali, who was Muhammad's cousin and brother, and Abu Bakr, who had been close to Muhammad since the beginning.
As Ali gave up, Abu Bakr became the successor of the prophet, and he became the successor of Muhammad.
Abu Bakr called himself the successor of the Apostle of God, and he was called Caliph.
After that, the concept of Caliph became the highest ruler in the Islamic world.
After the death of Muhammad, Abu Bakr became the first Caliph, and it is called the traditional Caliph era.
When Abu Bakr was elected as Caliph, people who revolted, saying that he was the true successor of Muhammad, appeared everywhere in the Arabian Peninsula.
Abu Bakr said that the welcome to him was no different from that of Islam and Muhammad, and called them the rebellion of the white religion,
and the slogan of the white religion was like a rebellion, and the white religion rebelled.
As the white religion rebelled, it expanded its power to other areas of the Arabian Peninsula, where the Islamic forces had not yet been defeated.
Abu Bakr's white rebellion war is also called the Lita War, and the most active leader at this time was Khalid ibn al-Alid, who was called the sword of Allah.
Even Abu Bakr came out of the Arabian Peninsula and started to fight with Persia,
and Khalid won against the Persian army in the Salas battle, the Al-Madhah battle, and the Walaja battle,
and in the Persian battle, the Byzantine Empire invaded the army,
and now Islam, ruled by the Caliph, has grown into a huge power that the Middle East can never ignore.
In 633, the great caliph, Abu Bakr, was ordered to record the doctrine of Islam, which Muhammad referred to as the 9th, in writing,
and the Qur'an of the Battle of Islam was also created.
Abu Bakr died in 634.
Thanks to Abu Bakr, Islam was able to advance beyond the Arabian Peninsula.
However, Islam will soon be divided into Sunni and Shia, saying that if the body becomes large, it will be divided.
