Qu'est-ce qu'une fourmi? - C'est pas sorcier

So it is part of the family of insects. But be careful, to be part of this family, you still have to meet a few criteria. First, the body has to be divided into three elements. It needs a head, a thorax, and an abdomen. There you go. Apparently, it's tough. One would think it's a carapace. Well, it's another particularity of insects. In fact, it's the animal's skeleton which is located outside. To make an insect, you also need three pairs of legs, six legs in total. Oh, what a beautiful spider! So tell me, Jamy, if I understand correctly, a spider or a moth is not an insect. Look at mine, it has eight legs. One, two, three, four, five, six, seven, eight. No, the spider is not an insect. But there are other reasons. To make an insect, you also need two antennas, a mouth with mandibles, and a pair of wings. For ants, it's a bit peculiar, but we'll get back to that later. When you have all that, you make a good insect, like a dragonfly, a cockatiel, or even a butterfly.
