So we came to Uptown!
We made a burger and there's a department store
I think Karl Lagerfeld is better
Oh really?
The window is better
Oh yeah, it's better than the Met
Yeah, even at the Met, they have Karl Lagerfeld
I'm going to walk around Central Park with Junko-chan
and go to the museum
Oh yeah, it's really nice
This is the department store of Karl Lagerfeld
While looking at the show window, we enter Central Park from the 5th floor
I like this pond
This big tree
It's really nice
Ah! It's so cute!
It's so big!
I don't know what to do
What is this pond?
It's so big and cute
It's so cute!
How big is it?
It's so big!
But it's not over yet
Take a closer look at this photo.
Do you see it?
Big Bird from Sesame Street was sitting on the bench.
It's pretty surreal, isn't it?
And for Beatles fans like me,
Strawberry Hills is a must.
John Lennon lived in a luxury apartment called Dakota House in Central Park,
and he lost his life there.
But what you see in front of Dakota House is John Lennon's memorial day.
It was a peaceful atmosphere,
with people singing along to John Lennon's performance.
What you see on the other side of the pond is Upper East Side,
a high-end residential area.
The 5th Avenue along Central Park,
from the 82nd to the 105th,
is also known as Museum Mile,
and there's a museum of discoveries in between.
The most famous one is the Metropolitan Museum.
It's also known as MET.
Also, Guggenheim has a very cool building designed by Frank Lloyd Wright.
You can see the painting as it goes around a spiral circuit.
And my recommendation is the Flick Collection.
You can see the collection collected by Flick, a realist,
in a luxurious mansion.
There are three films here.
And Junko-chan and I also love the Neue Galerie.
The Neue Galerie is a very small museum,
but the atmosphere inside is very elegant.
It's a gallery that mainly collects art from Germany and Austria.
The highlight is Klimt.
There are also works by Kokoschka and Egon Schiele,
as well as 20th-century Wien's works of art.
The Neue Galerie was not allowed to film,
so I filmed with Junko-chan in front of the replica.
And on the first floor, there is a cafe called Sabaski,
which reproduced the Wien Salon.
This is also a very nice atmosphere.
It's crispy.
This is delicious.
The atmosphere of the shop is a bit like this.
It's a very luxurious cafe.
It's like Europe.
Yes, it's like Europe.
Now, we're going to the downtown by bus.
We still have time until dinner with my daughter,
so we're going to spend some adult time drinking a cocktail.
Junko-chan brought me to a cocktail bar in Gramercy, which is recommended.
This bar called Martini's is very popular.
It's a Japanese bartender's shop that was in the top 10 in Japan
at the World Class Cocktail Competition.
This bar is a chic and calm atmosphere
where you can feel the history by remodeling a horse stable
that was built 150 years ago.
What makes me happy is the hospitality that starts with a squeeze
at a Japanese bar.
And not only the cocktail, but the food is also very delicious.
Martini's was the best cocktail in town.
I can drink anything.
Cheers!
It's like an adult.
Oh, it's delicious.
This is delicious.
At night, we have dinner with Sanjo.
I often walk to Prince.
It's about 10 o'clock.
Oh, it's 8 o'clock.
Thank you for watching the second part of New York.
Next time, on the third day of New York,
we will go to the Botanical Garden,
which is a little far from the hustle and bustle of the city.
See you again!
