Hello guys, welcome back to Wise IELTS!
Welcome to Wise IELTS, where you can help IELTS become a reality!
After a long list of readings, we took a break and made a short video for Times of Keywords.
Alright, what do you think Keywords is?
It's so simple!
What do you think is the point of Times of Keywords?
It sounds so simple, right?
So, do you know what it is?
Let me tell you!
Times of Keywords is also a powerful weapon!
Underline Keywords!
If Underline Keywords is a bomb that explodes,
Times of Keywords is the bomb that explodes!
Or to put it another way,
Keywords is what you have in your hand, Harry Potter's magic wand!
Underline Keywords sounds super easy to you, right?
But after underlining, how do you use it effectively?
Times of Keywords will help you do that!
Let's get started!
There are two types of Keywords.
The first one is Unchangeable Keywords.
We all know that the essence of IELTS is Paraphrase.
It means that the keywords in the question will not be used in the same way in the reading,
but they will replace it with synonyms.
However, Unchangeable Keywords are keywords that cannot be replaced.
That is, the question appears like this,
and in the reading, it will appear in the same way.
For example,
Days
And Terminologies
For example,
So, we call it Unchangeable Keywords.
Second one is Changeable Keywords.
Keywords are usually paraphrased in the passage,
using other words with the same meanings.
Changeable Keywords are keywords or paraphrases
replaced by words with the same meanings.
In the reading, you will not find the same words,
you can only find synonyms with Changeable Keywords.
And most of the time, we will find Changeable Keywords more than Unchangeable Keywords.
Alright!
We have analyzed Changeable Keywords and Unchangeable Keywords.
Next, let's move on to the next part.
First, let's practice first.
We will use Scanning technique to look for Unchangeable Keywords
so that we can identify which part of the reading the question is referring to.
And step number 2,
after we circle the position the question is referring to,
we will look for Changeable Keywords,
look for synonyms with the same meanings in the reading,
and from there, we can easily find the answer.
Ok, easy right?
So, let's practice with me to understand the useful functions of Types of Keywords.
Let's practice!
The first example we have in here is

We have famous for process and milk and wine safe for consumption.
Ok, after analyzing, which keywords should we look for?
Exactly, we will look for Unchangeable Keywords.
But here, we will look for Pasta first, right?
