VILLARREAL CF 0 - 0 CÁDIZ CF | RESUMEN LALIGA EA SPORTS

And he is on the bench today, so we could see a debut for Juanmi later on. Villarreal were also active in. Whipped in by Baena and a header on target is saved. Actually the sixth highest scorer in the league. And here's Navarro. Cross is deflected to the near post where Ramos arrives. Alejo with plenty in the middle. Can he deliver a cross? Spinning, flicked on and Ramos at the far post. It was just a little too high for him. He had to say moments as well. Notably a header from Chris Ramos who's nearly and might yet have the chance to get in after a poor bowl from Albiol. It's on to Navarro. He'll take on the shot and it's clawed wide by Jorgensen who... Alejo's trying to turn but it's on now. Great chance for Ramos but a poor, poor finish. Hits it with no real conviction there. As though he wanted to dance around it and get it on to his right foot but then... Best chance for Carrizo so far though for sure. Here's Gerard Moreno. Nice pass into the area. Baena hits it really well. Just over the crossbar. Here's Baena who tries to win it back here and does for Gerard Moreno. Baena wants the pass to the left. He receives it. Baena gets the shot away. Hit powerfully. Forcing the save but with frustration from... It is indeed. It is dispossessed by Comezania. And forward now for Morales to flick on. Might yet reach Baena. Karselen does well. Baena going down. So maybe something for the VAR official to review. Whether it was a clean challenge by Karselen. It looked okay. Maybe still looking to find his rhythm. Here he is on the ball now. Goes for goal! And it's not too far away although I think... Ledesma and Capoue. Coquelin lets it run to Baena. Coquelin back to Baena. Chance! Wide! Real opportunity for Alex Baena. The best of the half for Villarreal. And Baena has been the most threatening player. Villarreal still looking for the breakthrough. Juanmi is caught in possession. And here is Baena again. Another fierce strike from him and another one that's off target. And again he is looking the most likely. Pérez steps up. Hits it well but... Easily seen and taken by Jørgensen. First time he's been called into action. 2-0-0 draws to start off then. And it's the Cade fans who are much happier.
