Victor Gyokeres SIGNS For Arsenal | Welcome To Arsenal

There's been a lot of talk in the last year about how Arsenal's missing pieces,
having a top quality striker up top, and while the likes of this man, Víctor Llóqueres,
previously of Coventry City, now playing for Sporting Lisbon, I think Víctor Llóqueres is
an unbelievable striker option for any top club this summer, and I strongly think that Arsenal
should sign him now before he gets way too expensive, because he is just going to keep
getting better and better and better. So what's his actual profile like? I go to uni near Coventry,
so I've been to quite a few Coventry City games in the last year and a bit, and last season he
was undoubtedly the best player in that run, nearly, nearly getting to the Premier League,
losing to Luton in the playoff final. And watching him play, I always thought he was
big club worthy, and I'm really surprised he didn't go to a big Premier League side this season,
and instead chose to go to Sporting Lisbon. At 25 years of age, he's still young enough to slot
really well into that young, thriving Arsenal side, and his actual style of play suits Arsenal
so well, I think it's a no-brainer. He can be a poacher if that's what they need, but he also
plays really fluidly in that front three, and his link-up play between the wingers and the, like,
10 behind him is almost perfect, and I think Arsenal need this so well. I think if they were
to get an Ivan Toni or an Olly, maybe not an Olly Watkins, but an Ivan Toni, he would just sit up
top and just poach goals, which, yes, may be what they need, but it would change their style of play
so much. What they need is someone that can drop a bit deeper, can go off to the wings,
someone that's very fluid in that front three or four, and I think Big Diocores does this,
one of the best in Europe right now. I'm really, really surprised that he hasn't been linked to a
big move, considering those stats. Again, Sporting Lisbon have been playing in the Europa League,
they're top of their league, he's been playing at a higher level, and he's scoring and assisting
this many goals, and considering he was only at Coventry last season, I really think his ceiling,
he's just going to keep getting better and better and better, and I think a big move is almost
inevitable for him at this point, and I think Arsenal need to just check in and get him before
any other club start sniffing about. If a Real Madrid or a Man City come knocking, it could be
difficult for Arsenal to get him, and so getting him now, I think, would be such a smart move.
I think he will be expensive for Sporting, because he's had such a good season, they're
going to want to cash out high on him, probably close to 100 mil, so I don't know if that's going
to be entirely possible, but if they have him as their main man for this summer, I honestly think
the improvements they'll see next season will almost guarantee them a league title.
