DJ Gig Log - Packed Dance Floor (Legacy Stables NC)

what's up everyone we're at Legacy stables for Carson and Conor's wedding today we got the Epic setup as always Bera everything let's get on into the gig log another early start to the Vlog we here loading up the trailer get ready for the day we got a bunch of stuff [Music] what up though DJ Rick webs Vlog make sure you subscribe and give me a follow at DJ marcelis though you know The Man Behind both lighting USA this dude is just a face he don't do no work actually know this guy does the work he does the work so we got Jake working on Stars santi's working on the speaker setup we're getting it rolling let me get the GoPro up and do a time lapse [Music] [Music] all right we're fully well they finish up the last little bit of cord but we're fully set up this star is not working anyways fully set up ready to go we got baa up front here we're rocking the LD IO 18s today with the RCF nlx 24s cuz we do have quite a big room here today just running tubes tonight on the lighting side we have a jack recharging for Ceremony which is out in the stall way uh running sound switch but we did bring the brand new cans the chroma cannons ready to roll we got 12 of them we got them in the awesome 12 unit charging case right there we just spread them around the room where we're going to run them on wireless DMX using sound switch it's going to look awesome back rack is always looking great but we're all set I do have some tips and tricks I want to show you guys here in a bit oh I need to get my mic set up I got some new mics to try out today all right so we're set up here for cocktail we're using the L systems ne10 again I wanted to show you guys a little tip right here when it comes to this mic is a selectable mic so we have 1 through 12 channels and a quick way for how you can tell when you're going to have interference on that channel because we can't scan is to actually leave your handheld mic off leave this mic off and we're going to go through the selectable channels and make sure we don't have any interference so uh let me turn this down a little bit but as we click through we'll probably get some interference here and you want to look for the signal to start showing right there so Channel 7 already has a frequency attached to it same with 8 9 10 11 12 is good one is good two three four five so basically you want to make sure that you are on a channel where you're not already picking up frequencies that is the best way you can tell with these mics if you're going to have a good chance at a reliable mic so I'm going to go ahead and resync this mic real quick and we should be good to go now all right cool all right guys fully set up ready to go for the wedding today we just knocked out ceremony cocktails going on right now outside of course as always we got bua and you can come around here we got bua as always rocking Pioneer DJ ms7 mixer the Rain mk2s Sound switch controlling all of our lighting with the both lighting Platinum package as always both lighting DMX transmit Pro communicating to our four 360 tubes and we got the brand new cans we got 12 of these little bad boys look at these little guys the chroma cannons we got 12 of them around the room I'm going to try them out tonight see how they Rock um running inear monitors these are little Amazon ones ready to go I don't think there's anything else to talk about here coming back around the back rack we got energy drinks on Deck ready to go to keep everybody going today Yamaha mg12 mixer Drive rack pa2 two audio techn 34g mics custom built audio rack good to go and of course the sound tonight we got the big boys we got the RCF nlx 24 mk2s and then we just got two LD systems ioa 18 Subs these are not necessarily the best pair ing for these we definitely should get some better Subs you know we're not really blaring these tonight so it'll be good but yeah that's the setup today let's rock it out so for you guys back at home we're basically if you don't have an assistant to do this with well you should get an assistant first off but highly recommend if you have the beauty of like cocktail in a different area do rehearsals for introductions with your assistant now of course you know I'm just mumbling through this because I can do it on the fly but if you want to actually grab the mic and do it nice and loud and proud and get your mic skills up you can do that as well ladies and gentlemen family friends welcome this evening blah blah blah blah blah BL keep that down we're going to I do the intros all dead so um you can wait first F we'll be playing the song right so we can let's just go to cocktail real quick you got your song Ready y so you're just going to fade that song down this will be playing Just fad it down all right ladies and gentlemen family and friends welcome to Legacy Stables it's Saturday night we're going to party it up for Conor blah blah blah Make some noise over here you you you faded all the way out you all the no the dead is there any okay maybe that's what's confusing me you're saying no dead air but then there's no dead air other than the opening introduction other than the very first yes cuz I want attention gotcha I want to gather everybody's attention and by cutting the music all the way and starting to make the announcements I get everyone's clear attention to listen so that's why the the opening part is a lot of ladies and gentlemen family and friends welcome to Legacy stable de then you want to start go ahead so basically I'll look at you and then I'll grabb the mic all right ladies and gentlemen and welcome to Legacy stables for Carson and Conor's wedding this evening oo Make Some Noise yeah is this side ready to make some noise Make some noise clap all that fun stuff ladies and
