Hello, my name is Roman Georgiev and I am part of the team of Historic Park. We are starting a series of short videos in which we will introduce you to the members of the team of Historic Park. In fact, they will introduce themselves. These are the people who act, work and work tirelessly to make everything happen here and now. I would like to emphasize that we do all this in a crisis situation, in conditions of social isolation. Many people are standing at home and waiting for things to be fixed. Things themselves are difficult to manage. You know that they are managed by diligent, hardworking people who work. You will see what these people are like. Watch! Hello, my name is Dejan Semyonov, 26 years old, from the city of Vraca. Vraca is a very beautiful place in the northwest of Bulgaria. It is beautiful with its mountains, forests. Among other things, most of you may know that it is there that the highest slopes of the Balkan Peninsula are located. There is also the largest Thracian treasure in its volume and quantity. Now, however, today I am not in Vraca, but this place where I am is also such a beautiful place. I am in the territory of the Historic Park. You can just look around to see how beautiful it is. In this video, I will try to tell you a few things about myself, how I got acquainted with the project, how I decided to come and participate in it, what is my role, why I believe in the Historic Park and how I see it for the future. If we go back a little, I can say that years ago I have always been looking for individuals, environments, people with whom together we have the opportunity to build something from scratch and to leave it behind us, the next generations. Looking, I did not manage to find. Very often I lost track, I did not see the result of my actions, but it was until 2017 when I got to know the Historic Park, after which, a little later, I contacted one of the creators and initiators of the project, his name is Evelin Mihailov. I asked him if I could participate in the project in some way, to which he replied positively and that was all I needed. I immediately came here. As I remember, the date was November 8, 2018. When I came here, the park was a construction site, so to speak. But today you see that it is becoming a more beautiful place. As we do not stop to develop it. Because apart from these beautiful views, up there you can see the second stage of the construction of the park, namely the Second Bulgarian Kingdom. My role here is as an excursionist. I am one of the people who accompanies the tourists, our guests. When they come here, it is necessary to have a person who can guide them, to tell them about the history that has happened here on our lands, because this is what we aim here with the project. These things that we have built so far and tell people, these are the periods Prehistory, Antiquity and Early Middle Ages. Why do I believe in the project? Well, what I can say is that I've been here every day for a long time. Maybe a year and a half somewhere. Every day, seeing the enthusiasm of the people who come from the depths of their souls, I see how they are charged with the place. I see that the place gives them faith. And this faith that it gives them makes me a believer too. It is this faith that gives a person the feeling that things can really happen, even in Bulgaria. This faith shows that things make sense. And this is the faith that gives people the opportunity to pass it on to the next generations. That's exactly the reason I'm still here, and every passing day I strive to improve myself and develop myself more. How do I see the Historical Park? After a while, let's say a period of about 10 years, I see it as one of the most beautiful places in Bulgaria. Also, in my opinion, it will become a huge source, a catalyst for positive energy. Because by presenting the history here, people will have the opportunity to get to know each other. What can I say about myself? In the whole picture, I see myself as one of the people who will have the opportunity, after a while, since a period of about 10 years is quite long, I will have the opportunity to acquire enough knowledge, skills, qualities, which I will be able to pass on to the people who are after me. Since this is one of the goals of the park, to get to know people and to pass on our knowledge and skills. Since at the end of such a video it is good to wish something to people, here we come to something else that is also valuable and important for each individual person. I mentioned personalities, I mentioned faith, but there is something else that is also very valuable. And that is freedom. This sculpture next to me here is a symbol of freedom. When you decide to come to the historical park, I can personally introduce you to who he is, what his story is and what his deeds are. And freedom is a wish to all of you who are watching this video, from me to you. I want each of you to be a seeking person. A person who is looking for freedom. There is such a place in Bulgaria where free people live, work freely. This is a historical park for me. I believe that each of you, looking for freedom, will find happiness and all the things he needs. On the way to finding freedom, there are, at least in my opinion, three basic things that I often wish to people and I want them to follow them. And the last thing I can do as a wish to you is, on the way to freedom, drink more water, read more books and wear comfortable shoes. Thank you.
