Hey what's up guys, welcome back to my channel. Today I am in New Jersey and behind me Swami Narayan Akshardham. This is the Hindu temple and this is actually the largest Hindu temple in America. But wait for it, it's not only the largest Hindu temple in America, it's also the second largest Hindu temple in the entire world. So today I'm going to show it to you because this place is actually brand new. It's been open for like a year, I believe they opened on October 8, 2023 and it's been almost a year. So I came down here to double check what's going on here and honestly my very first impression is that it's amazing. So let's check it out. Swami Narayan Akshardham. As we explore this inspiring structure, let's take a moment to appreciate the details of the temple's design. The temple was carved by skilled artisans from India and assembled by thousands of volunteers. It is made of pure marble and limestone, materials known for their spiritual significance and durability. Each sculpture and each carving is a tribute to centuries of Hindu philosophy and mythology, featuring the stories of saints and moments from ancient scripts. You know, visiting places like this is actually very very incredible because not for nothing this place was built for centuries. Because you know, at some point they built Angkor Wat, at some point they built Egyptian pyramids, at some point they built Colosseum, right? And back in the days those magnificent magnificent structures, they were brand new. So right now I'm looking at this temple, at this Mandir, and it's just spectacular. It's amazing to see it just being brand new. It's like, you know, you're witnessing something incredible born and this place is definitely going to be here for for centuries. Wow. Swami Narayan Akshardham is more than just a place of worship, guys. It's a living, breathing reflection of spirituality in action. People from all walks of life, regardless of religion or background, come here seeking peace, knowledge, and inspiration. It is a space that encourages reflection, prayer, and connection with something greater than ourselves. The temple also serves as a hub for community and cultural activities. The Akshardham complex offers a range of programs that promote understanding of Hindu values, art, and heritage. This includes spiritual discourses, yoga sessions, and educational exhibitions that help bridge cultural gaps and bring people together. The temple grounds are carefully designed to harmonize with nature, using sustainable practices, and honor the earth while maintaining the sacred atmosphere. This place may be brand new, but yet it comes from very ancient roots. the place is truly incredible. Like, not for nothing, places like this built for centuries, you know. And it's great to be here and to see this place just, you know, basically being constructed. It's still like some construction going on, but yet, you know, the main park, the main mandir, the main temple is open and everybody can come, everybody can visit. You don't have to pay money for to visit this place. There are no tickets, no nothing. During, you know, like peak season, during like weekends, they do get a lot of tourists coming here. So, they ask you to, you know, to reserve a free ticket. It's a free ticket which is available on their website. So, if you're going to plan to come here during Saturday and Sunday or during like national holidays, please reserve a ticket. But other than that, you know, you can come any day except Tuesdays. On Tuesdays, they're actually closed. And, you know, explore this place, you know, learn something new. It's a beautiful culture. It's actually a very, very beautiful culture.
