How to wrap gifts like an expert

we get ever closer to Christmas and Hanukkah more folks will be spending the weekend wrapping lots of gifts but finding the perfect way to wrap them can rather be um this is a personal thing for me very difficult to do I stink at it Action News with Maggie Kent went to wrapped paper Workshop in kcha hawen to get some advice from the experts is ribbon and wrapping a stressor in your life come holiday time enter Gabby cable owner of wrapping paper it's very hard to um make Christmas joyful for everybody especially when you're under a lot of stress she started this gift wrapping business 3 years ago and she's a pro we all have something like this on our list of things that we bought and we just don't know what to do with it especially without a box what can we do you don't need a box for this just make a little makeshift bag tape down the center make triangles fold the paper together and tape you can kind of see already how it's making like a little bag taada massive bow really goes a long way how do we start this one yeah so um you're going to get a good amount of um ribbon here preferably the ones with wire so you can shape it and you're just going to go ahead and just keep doing some Loops you don't have to go out and buy this so it's whatever you have all right do you have that old loaf of bread use the bread tie right that's correct yes secure that in the middle you have a good amount of Le way to Puff that up the best tip that I've heard all day is Ditch the scissors at some point you probably have this in your junk drawer um it's an envelope opener hold it down and you can open it just like you do your envelopes and then you get a pretty clean cut there at wrapping paper it's all about the presentation kind of Starts Here visually and then it continues as they open their gift yeah so it is the first impression so to speak yes now Gabby tells me she can wrap in apparel box with a ribbon in about 35 seconds all right we'll never be able to get there but she says things will go faster if you take these tips and also give yourself enough space to spread out that means clear the entire kitchen table yes does she make house calls she does curbside sister number okay going to need the 411 on that yeah I hope you got her business card Maggie thanks so much
