Hi friends and welcome to day 25 of your 30-day meditation.
Let's begin to take a few moments finding your comfortable position for today
in a safe, secure space. Now that may be sitting upright in an easy seat on your mat,
sitting on a block, a blanket, or even lying down with a bolster or pillow.
Whatever honors your way today, follow that and just be sure that you're fully able to
relax in this posture for the next 10 minutes or so. Let's begin with a nice deep inhalation
through the nose, deep breath in, and a long open mouth exhalation, sigh it out.
Now bringing that nice bear hug up, squeezing your shoulders up by your ears, deep breath in,
and exhale. Gently release your grip, rolling your shoulders down your back,
softening your grip, and just allowing your arms and your palms to gently float down by your sides
or they can rest softly on your knees. You also have the choice to hold yourself as long as you
if you prefer to hold the bear hug. And while you begin to settle into this space today,
you may choose to place both hands on your heart, one hand on your heart and one on your belly.
Whatever feels comfortable, allowing your gaze to soften here,
your eyelids softening, your facial muscles getting heavier,
relaxing your brows, removing your tongue from the roof of your mouth,
parting your teeth, feeling your chest rise and fall here, allowing your breath to expand your
belly and your exhales to contract your belly. And just exploring this moment of silence,
stillness, quiet. You and your breath. Inhaling, filling your lungs with fresh air
and allowing the warm air to exhale and release.
Finding your existence in this space.
You can slowly release your hands to your knees here if you would like and let's begin.
Once you find your moment, let's take some deep breaths in through your nose
and exhale out from your mouth at your own pace.
And while you do this, with each breath in, really begin to feel
this deep sense of gratitude about the things in your life.
You may shift your gratitude to something you have. You may shift your gratitude to
objects that are something that you've maybe never had before and you're so grateful to have now.
Maybe just simple things in life like your house, your bed.
And breathing deeply into your thoughts as you imagine these things.
And maybe as you exhale, you whisper thank you.
You may say thank you to yourself for having patience and determination to go get these things
or you may say thank you to God for providing all of it all together.
You may say thank you to a loved one.
Still breathing in and out, expressing gratitude to those that you know
or even those that you don't know.
Maybe even a pet that has become a close companion.
Imagine seeing them clearly in your imagination.
Maybe even thinking about how they sound, how they smell, how their embrace feels.
And constantly whispering thank you. Still breathing in and out, become grateful for
yourself, your health, your kindness, wisdom.
Maybe the times that you stood up for yourself when no one else would.
Maybe the times that you stood up for someone else when no one else would.
Maybe you're grateful for just being able to be with others, to love on others.
Maybe you're grateful for the realization that you haven't allowed your heart to harden
even after everything you've been through.
You still stayed soft. Breathe in and exhale.
And now express gratitude for even the smallest things.
Being able to feel literally and figuratively.
These are important things as well. Being able to feel the grass underneath your feet.
Being able to go outside safely, confidently, knowing that you're allowed to enjoy
the wind, the sun. These are little things that we don't realize we take for granted
but it's not easy for everyone else in the world to just go outside and enjoy these things.
And allowing your breath to fall away here while you sink deeper into relaxation and gratitude.
Now let's take some time to focus on the world around you.
And just be grateful as you expand and grow into
the beautiful human being that you are. Truly feel yourself as you are, naturally.
With no extras added.
Not as you expect that you should be but just being thankful for who you truly are.
The fact is that we can truly enjoy the things we have. We don't need anything else.
We already have every single thing that we need to make the most of our time here on this earth.
So be fully grateful for your existence because you are here for a reason.
You are present in everything that you have the world needs.
We need the brilliance of your spirit. We need your strength.
We need you just as you are.
Now soft inhales and exhales.
With your eyes closed you can begin to gently turn your head side to side.
And then bringing your palms together to your forehead to remind yourself that
this is the most powerful part of you. This is where it all resides.
You have to believe it here before it can be accepted anywhere else.
Bringing your palms to your lips to remind yourself to speak positively. Release positive
affirmations to yourself and to others. Words are so very powerful. And then bringing your
palms to your heart to remind yourself that you are here for a reason. You are loved,
you are blessed, and you are wonderfully made.
You may flutter your eyes open. Thank you friends for joining me in our meditation today.
I pray that you feel empowered, know that you are blessed, and can laugh without fear of the future.
I'll see you tomorrow. Bye!
