Hi friends and welcome to day 20 of your 30-day meditation.
Let's find a few moments to find your comfortable position today in a safe, secure,
quiet space. That may be sitting upright in an easy seat on your mat, sitting on a block,
a blanket. You may even choose to lie down today with a bolster or pillow.
Whichever way honors your body today, follow that and just be sure that you're able to fully relax
in this posture for the next 10 minutes. Let's start with a deep inhalation through the nose
and a long open mouth exhalation. Let's find a nice bear hug,
squeezing your shoulders up by your ears. Deep breath in and exhale. Gently release your grip
and roll your shoulders down your back, softening your grip and letting your arms and palms melt
down by your sides or they can rest softly on your knees. And as you come to settling into
your space today, you might choose to place one hand on your heart and one on your belly
or maybe even both hands on your heart and just allow your gaze to move inwards and soften,
allowing your eyelids to fall heavier and relaxing your facial muscles,
your brows, releasing your tongue from the roof of your mouth, fully relaxing your jaw,
parting your teeth. You may begin to feel your chest rising and falling, bringing more awareness
to your body and the life within you, the breath within you. Just exploring this moment of stillness
and silence and as you feel comfortable, you can begin to release your hands down by your sides or
to your knees with your palms facing up or facing down and let's begin. Allow your mind a moment
to pause, removing any analyzations, judging, thinking. Right now is the perfect time to
draw a blank and give yourself permission to simply rest and relax. Inhale and exhale.
Let go of your body and let go of everything you know.
Just find yourself in this very moment, sending any thoughts and all of your attention directly
to your breath. Draw some awareness maybe even to the stillness around you or maybe even the
non-stillness. You may hear some cars passing by or some dogs barking,
birds chirping, maybe you hear a conversation faintly in the distance. That's all right,
just absorb these moments of life around you as you continue to shift your attention
deeper and deeper inwards within yourself, finding an inhalation here and an exhalation.
If your mind begins to wander to other tasks that you know you need to accomplish
off of your mat, this is very normal and it's totally okay. Don't feel discouraged,
you haven't failed your meditation. Just take a deep breath in to acknowledge it
and when you're ready, let it go on the exhale. These thoughts are simply
soft clouds in the sky. They drift in and they drift past. You notice that they're present
but you don't spend a lot of time really trying to decipher and understand what they're about
and just bring your mind right back into your space, your stillness, your peace.
Find another deep inhalation and an open mouth exhalation. Find some time here to be with your
stillness as I leave you with your mind and your internal peace. Know that you attract love
and with your eyes closed still, you can begin to also gently turn your head from side to side.
You might find a few neck rolls here if that's comfortable to you.
Bringing your palms together to your forehead to remind yourself that your mind is so very powerful
and everything starts right here. Your thoughts can manifest very quickly into
your physical being and life. Bring your palms to your lips to remind yourself to speak positively
to others and even more importantly to yourself. Your words are so very powerful as well.
And lastly, to bring your hands to your heart to remind yourself that we love on others because
God first loved us. You are loved and you have a purpose, a reason for your existence here.
You are fearfully and wonderfully made. You may flutter your eyes open. Thank you friends for
joining me in our meditation today. I pray that you feel empowered and know that you are blessed
and can laugh without fear of the future. I'll see you tomorrow. Bye!
