Welcome to Creative Piano Academy with me, Joseph Sancora, for another Piano in 60 Seconds video
where I try to show you something cool, something fun, something that sounds really nice in 60
seconds or less. Today I've got a really beginner-friendly exercise for you. Perfect if
you're just starting to play the piano, you know, and you just want to sit in front of that piano,
have some fun, play something that sounds nice, whilst also working those core skills. Check this
out. Okay, so it's a really nice sounding repetitive pattern for you. It's going to work your
timing, it's going to work your fingers, and also a little bit of hand coordination because
I'm going to show you something really simple you can play on the left as well. So let's put
60 seconds on the clock, starting now. So the first thing we need to do is this right hand
pattern. So get yourself into the C major position, fingers one on the C, two on the D, three on the E
and four on the F. Those are the only fingers and the only notes that we're interested in here.
For this pattern we're going to go C, E, F, E. Okay, so that's C, E, F, E, and then a rest, and then a C, D, E.
Like this, okay? So you can play it as a loop, as fast or as slow as you want. So C, E, F, E, rest, C, D, E.
Just get used to it, okay? Stick the pedal down if you want. Sounds really nice. Okay, to bring in
the left hand in, I'm just going to play a C in the left for twice round, and then an A.
Gives it some nice accompaniment. Taking it a little bit further, give it a bit of rhythm.
That's good for hand coordination as well. There we go. So, hope you like that guys. Something nice,
something melodic for you to play, and it's going to work your fingering, it's going to work your
hand coordination, it's going to work your timing, it's going to work all sorts. And if you're a
beginner and you're just starting out, don't forget, you know, you can take it up in layers
and stages. Work the right hand first, then bring in the left, and then bring in the foot. You know,
there's no need to get overwhelmed and try everything at once. Let me know in the comments
how you get on. Like the video if you liked it, subscribe to the channel, and I will see you,
I will see you in the next video.
