check in now with 22 news reporter
Victoria buddy who's live in our 22 News
Storm Team weather tracker for a look at
what conditions are like out there on
the roads tonight
Victoria hi Adam yes Ben and I right now
are driving down Allen Street in
Springfield uh we just went through
downtown Springfield but now like I said
we're outside in our weather tracker
there the the roads are covered they are
also salted we've seen a few plows but
there's a few things that AAA wants
people to know before they decide to go
out on the roads or if they're driving
tomorrow morning let me go ahead and
switch this camera really quick now what
as you can see right in front of me
right tripa a is reminding us just a few
things if you're going to be driving out
in the snow drive slow adjust your speed
when needed increase your following
distance from cars in case you have to
break unexpectedly and when it comes to
cleaning off your car many people want
to be reminded about this they say make
sure to remove all the snow blocking the
windshield or your windows and even if
your windows are cleared make sure your
license plate is visible in these type
of conditions according to state law
drivers who do not remove snow and ice
from their vehicles could be ticketed
for driving with an unsecured load on
their car now as you can see like we
mentioned the snow is covering the roads
a few of these roads are have been
salted uh plows are out but some of
these neighborhoods in Springfield
um you know are still covered so just
drive slow if you're out and about and
drive SL drive safe tomorrow on that
morning commute for now working for you
