WEEK IN MY LIFE AT HOME 🏡🥐 hosting a dinner party, home projects, sephora haul & recent favorites

hi y'all welcome back to another week in my life consider this the ultimate Comfort Vlog We are continuing on with my goal of hosting a Nancy Meers themed dinner party to every single Nancy Myers movie we are on our second movie It's Complicated in the dinner was everything we're doing like Jan's Bakery theme everyone dresses up it's amazing I'm working in the yard we're baking we're cooking we're working we're productive we've got home projects we've got really everything in this Vlog so without further Ado I hope you guys [Music] enjoy happy Monday welcome to a very cozy week of my life at home I'm so excited to just be home all week I've had a ton of visitors which has been so fun it's been like all over the place and I can't wait to like get my life in order here I'm hosting a dinner party I'm getting some stuff done in the backyard we just have a lot going on just made myself some coffee worked out this morning ran some errands um I've been getting a little bit of work done and I just need to like I've been putting off get my nails done for weeks and they look really really really bad so I need to go do that I also really in like probably a year past what would have been acceptable as like a Sephora trip like I need all new makeup and I haven't done a Sephora trip to get all new makeup in honestly probably like 3 years not that I haven't gotten new makeup but I just mean like a whole overhaul of everything thing so I want to do that today just getting bunch of like random work stuff done I feel like February is really the start of 2025 January was a wash okay not a wash but January was just I feel like did anyone else one had the longest January of their life and two wasn't my worst January but it wasn't a good one oh my God guys I finished I started yesterday Lisa Presley in Riley kio's book it's Lisa Presley's life Riley was writing the book with her mom and then she ends up finishing it after Lisa passes away I listen to it on a I'm such an audible girl these days I've been listening to so many books it was the best audio book I've ever listened to in my life I finished it in L in 24 hours it was unbelievable I wish it was longer it was so good and it was cool because there was some tapes of Lisa and it was just like a really amazing book Riley lost her brother and her mom Lisa lost her obviously her dad being Elvis and then lost her son and it was just like such an amazing book I highly highly highly recommend I am not early these days I really like Audible for a non-fiction books I like Memoirs biographies all that stuff I'm sure I'll like stumble upon some like Kennedy type books I don't know well really doing like a little bit of a deep dive um but anyways if you guys are new here be sure to subscribe a good old week of my life at [Music] home y'all I'm back from Sephora I have a little Sephora haul to show y'all I got way too many love lip products but that's just like all that I really care about first things first I got this Tower 28 lip softy this is actually just a refill I have this in my bag I love this it smells incredible I love Tower 28 and this is a really good color lip liner this I love um it smells like vanilla everyone who uses this in my bag loves it so that's really good I also got this Tower 28 lip jelly I love Tower 28 and their lip jelly is are very moisturizing this is a really pretty color this is in the shade coconut and this is another refill next up I actually already put this on this is the Charlotte Tilbury pillow top collagen lip bath I will say this wasn't needed I probably should have gone through all the lip products that I got before I left I don't love I have it on right now I really hate the applicator at all I'm going to use it because I bought it and like the color is fine and everything but I hate that applicator it's cute in theory but it's just like doesn't really work work oh I got this lash sck from glossier and this is just Brown mascara I figured I might as well try Brown mascara since I'm not really wearing mascara that often these days this is just a more natural look I also picked up some stuff from Lawless this I'm going to keep by my bed at my nightstand it's the Lawless forget the filler overnight lip Plumping mask they have this product I got another one I had it forever ago I really like Lawless but it's the forget the filler lip Plumping line line smoothing gloss and this is in cherry vanilla it smells also amazing stuffs really incredible I've also had this before um yes I was wanting to try new products we'll get there just a normal Powder Puff this is pretty big for a powder that I did pick up cuz I am trying to be a little bit better at makeup and I feel like I need this when I'm baking I feel like my makeup always looks so much better when I bake even if that feels a little like 2016 I don't know it doesn't have to be so extreme but I definitely feel like it feels better my skin has been acting up like crazy the past couple of weeks I don't know what that's about it's really annoying oh sorry I got the refi face primer blur and hydrate which actually I think we're going to try this in a second Huda Beauty Easy Bake loose baking and setting powder and then I got this one in peach pie I have one from them right here and this is in the shade cherry blossom cake which that one is really popular um they were oh God I don't really know I just felt like trying this it's not that different at all really is like old though this is the new packaging I I'm pretty sure they like the same product I have to figure this out later but I feel like this is going to be good I also got oh my God my OG not OG but just in the past couple of years my favorite bronzer I've ever used Kristen Farah my makeup artist she's the best she uses this on me and before that I never really used a warm bronzer and then I used this so she used this on me and I like am obsessed it really really warms up my face and I just look a lot better with the warm bronzer this is by far my favorite bronzer that I've ever ever ever used love this so it's the Fenty Beauty bronzer in the shade cocona which is the seven color it is the best next up guys I don't normally just go to Sephora and buy this many things I haven't in years which is why I went today this is the makeup forever miss and fixed setting spray I got just a mini version of it because I ran out of it's right here actually I'm like really almost completely out of the rare Beauty setting P guys I'm really tired today so me trying to speak is next to Impossible but I really love the rare Beauty setting spray and I'm out I also got another Brown eyeliner I got one recently it's just gone missing I've searched everywhere in my house I accepted de feed after using that brown eyeliner one time I literally have no idea where it went anyways I got this this is like the chocolate brown Spark Onyx gold CH wait no guys I grabbed the ROM box dang it I have two figure that out but I love house slabs their makeup is unre I got a new Foundation from them which just an updated one cuz mine is too light right now and it is the best I also got Charlie Tilbury lip cheat Pillow Talk lip liner you can never have too many honestly I alternate between different bags so I just like use whatever products are in that bag and I've been really needing more lip liners which is is why I got this one as well I really like the rare Beauty lip liners and this is the shade humble I am trying a mix of old and new products and then I got the refi brow sculpt I do have brow product on right now it's like the only thing I have on besides the products so I like my elf pot it's like $2 and it really does shape my brows but I feel like it's been moving throughout the day I don't know I was like open to trying something new it's probably going to be weird with stuff on my eybrows yep it is but bag number two okay so I got this skin fix resurface like K smoothing body trim I don't even know if I really have that I I have like red bombs on my arms so I feel like I do but I wanted to try this and just see if it makes a difference so I will keep you guys posted like my arms I feel like I'm just kind of insecure with my arms cuz I always have uneven skin tone and they're kind of like reddish so I wanted to try that got the OG milk makeup primer and this is just the hydro primer and I really like this stuff and then I got the house Labs Foundation I totally forgot I was going to get something that's like an everyday light high like Hollywood filter Charlotte Tilbury and I didn't and that's why I got the refi stuff so all that for nothing anyways I got another house Labs Foundation this is the best foundation I've ever used really nothing compares it's so so so so good so I really love this and I got this with my rewards I don't know if you guys tried this skincare brand let me know I'm excited to give it a shot and yeah so I need brown eyeliner still and I need like an everyday really easy something for my face I am going to put this on and just see I know it's like what's the point oh my gosh wow the application for this is awesome oh my god it feels I'm putting way too much on cuz it feels so okay way too much on yeah mhm feels amazing on your skin face primer so kind of what's the point but wow wait guys I love this imagine like putting that on in the morning too guys that feels amazing it is definitely blurring I think wow the dogs both got baths they're so fluffy hello I'm actually going to have a little productive evening but I'm going to make my favorite banana bread mix this stuff is so good because I have so many bananas that are going to go bad so might as well I'm proof watching the next podcast video I'm so excited for book club also if you guys didn't know the next book that we're reading for book club is AA Gardens Memoir which is going to be so good and we're also reading with Harrison Wallace literally the perfect combination [Music] I cannot remember if I've shown you guys on YouTube yet but I have the best needle point haul I actually just filmed a Tik Tok video where I showed yall how needle point if you guys are interested in that definitely check it out also look at my new project bag it is everything so anyways I want to show you all this stuff oh first up this is the first one I've wanted this one for so long Nancy J grew up on ncy Che books it's kind of like really what started my career if you think about it because my mom was an interior decorator and she like made me go to all the antique stores growing up and shopping with her 24/7 for home stuff and I would always get really bored but in and antique stores they had Nancy Drew books which made me love reading I love Nancy Drew but every single one of them I used to have the entire theme that's why I have a couple in my house but anyways I'm really excited about this it is a little big I still want to make it an ornament it's going to be a massive ornament at that but I'm still that's still the focus for like this project and then I have these other three coconut coconut the American Girl doll dog coconut that's what Coco my dog is named after coconut is her real name legal name if you will um when they released this I had so many people taging me in this and like I'm just obsessed this is actually from pop needle Arts by the way she's actually a Dallas based Creator so anyways very excited about this this will be an ornament these will all be ornaments actually and we have Molly from American Girl I just thought she was so cute I'm in love it's really nice to have small ones too for when you're traveling there's nothing like needle pointing on a plane and watching SVU and then we have the sleepy time tea bear isn't he so cute I just think it's it's adorable so anyways obsessed with those need to go grab my laptop and do my real work I made the blue matcha the MMA Chamberlain like Chamberlain coffee matcha um it sent to me in PR and like it's interesting I don't hate it but I wouldn't like go out of my way to have blue matcha like it's good honestly it is actually really good now that I'm drinking it more [Music] all right y'all big updates first off I started a new audible book audio book it's the house of my mother a lot of youall recommended this to me I've seen it going around um which I'm really excited to get into this anyway started a couple minutes ago and then I ordered these over the weekend I think I'm pretty positive it was a pretty positive it was a Kate Davis product rck and I think they're like $8 okay so I'm going to do oh it's express 1 hour wow I'm going to do a little self-tan moment to let you guys know how I like these all right y'all I actually lied on accident I realized that I have nothing to tan for right now so why would I anyways I'm in these Lake pajamas and I have my microfiber hair towel this one's from Frenchie I wanted to show you guys this is my favorite face self tanner salty face tanning water I have medium to dark it's so good Macy showed it to me probably like two years ago and I swear by it the only thing that sucks is that I can't mouth tape whenever I'm obviously having this dry overnight the other thing that sucks about mouth tape in general is like one it actually really works I've never slept better and I just feel amazing it makes my jawline really snatch like it really does make a huge difference but then it takes a my tan so it's like do I want to be snatched or do I want to be pale you know what I mean anyways I wanted to give you guys a little update on my recent products that I got I got a ton of stuff sent to me like 2 weeks ago and I've been using it and I really love it so first up we'll actually I haven't organized this back but I did just move this the Frenchie hair care line oh my God it's amazing it smells so good this is such a good hair mask oh my God it's like lav lavender relaxing like a Frenchie just kills it and then is it honey or hany I'm not sure I've had this before I purchased it as like a restock um it's so amazing especially if you're lazy and you don't love putting lotion on after the shower like I really never do that I really need to get in the habit of that anyways this is really good because it's like an inour moisture treatment it's the solve stuff so you put this on and then wash it off but it really moisturizes your skin so much that you don't even really need like lotion after it's really incredible so that stuffs really good I'm almost done with cylar it smells really good at first I was like I don't know is this overhyped and I felt like it at the beginning and then in the more I started using it the scent is just like unmatched it's actually really incredible and then Crown Affair I love Crown ofir they're my favorite hair care brand and this is the volumizing shampoo and conditioner I used it tonight I really really like it I don't feel like it's too heavy on my hair I like the like natural volume it gives it's great ol plx haven't really been using that lately primally pure this is my cleansing oil I love primely pure that's like the only skincare that I use and recently like I've been using it like exclusively for like Che years and that's why my skin has looked really good but I've actually been breaking out a little bit recently and I'm like maybe I need to bring in like the big guns you know um anyways this is the other Crown ofir hydrating shampoo conditioner I haven't used it yet I'm excited to try that um I also keep forgetting to do this but it's the Orbee mirror Rin I got this because Emily Billings uses it and she's the best hair to glass hair treatment so I need to get back to that those are really my recent favorites that I have been loving as well as my crown ofir brush there's nothing like it I have two then I have two of the many it's so worth the money guys like oh my God cannot stress that enough I also got this necessary body lotion but um I'm sure it smells amazing but okay the pump like wasn't working so anyways I cannot get over how incredible the gonanas banana bread Natasha Beret cab makes my entire home smell they sent me a ton of other ones so I'm going to try those out they're like a healthier version to bake and it smells [Music] unreal more short views of your kids just I want to know what also like schedules I'm a video of plan happy Tuesday everyone it is almost noon I worked out this morning I've just been filming a bunch of stuff and I'm heading off to my yearly my annual like management lunch where we just talk about everything we want to do and achieve in 2025 anyways I'm wearing a very Hill House fit my jeans are abomi I just have this brown sweater like tucked in oh I accident unbutton this this is a hill housee jacket I have on the Chanel ballet flats that I got on the real Rail and then my headband is also Hill House I actually really like this one because I have a massive head just for some backstory so headbands actually like really hurt my head but this one is Big so I actually really like it and then I'm just wearing this bag we are going to Hudson house which is like my favorite restaurant very excited for that I need to head out in like 2 seconds um I was filming a ton of like dinner party content and I love my fit so I'm really excited because I love Hudson house like that is it's so good if you guys live in Dallas or La they have them in La now you have to go what a fun new discovery for the year though all right y'all I back home I was supposed to do yard work this afternoon I've had it on my calendar for 3 weeks and it's like gloomy and cold so that's not happening today um but I do need to pick out some stuff for a Wayfield deel that I'm doing and here's the thing like guys I know it's a little extreme to feel like I need a little mini Hutch thing but look I have this dream something like this right there and I'm going to have curtains coming very soon so actually I think it would look even better I'm not sure exactly what I want to do but I just feel like it would really make this room cozy I don't want this room to be like too stale I want it to feel like lived in and fine and all of the things um also should I put the pink chairs back out here they are in my attic but like we're getting into like spring so I don't know anyways it was beautiful yesterday I should have just on the AR yesterday but that is not what happened I had a very productive meeting I'm going to measure for this and then I also need to set the table for my dinner party this week I'm so excited I have like literally the best ideas ever I don't know how much of this closet I've showed y'all but I am obsessed with it it's also going to make setting the table so much easier this is the McKenzie child's like mocha check it's the new color collection if you guys saw on my Instagram I'm in love with it and then these plates are the best and then these Chargers I have more um I need to grab them from the hosting closet they're still in there but I'm going to be using those for this dinner party and this guys literally perfect obsessed with that so I do kind of need to start getting this stuff going wait this might be like actually the perfect size so it'll be 29 in wide keep in mind there's going to be curtain here so it's going to be Cozier and then it will be 15 in deep so that's no issue because it's coming out like to right here and you guys this makes no difference you that's our issue here because we can definitely move this over just a little bit I feel like okay so that's not bad y'all okay that might be a little short is that going to be weird why does that feel really short okay I mean honestly maybe that's normal it just is kind of perfect for the space I think I'm going to order it cuz it's way Fair [Music] [Music] the table is set I just got a very exciting package from Wheezy I've been wanting one of these robes Macy got one I've seen Brett in them I just I've seen them on Instagram and I think that they're so cute oh my God you guys know how I love a robe I'm in a robe every single day K and it's blue I love a long robe I know that they have short sleeve options that's what Macy has which is great if you're like drying your hair and you're overheating I'm just such a like long sleeve long robe sort of girl but oh my god it feels amazing too guys this is incredible I think it's so cute and look at my little monogram okay I'm really excited about this this is exciting oh oh my God so cute I didn't even realize wait I also got this which this this is like going to be what I wear when I'm styling my hair I don't know why I'm blanking on it I hope this fits but it also has my monogram in it this is great to get ready in like this is what I'll be getting ready in oh my God they're literally the cutest thing ever thank you Wheezy I'm very excited what a good gift too for people we're 2 days out from the dinner party I have set the table and I brought out some stuff that I'm going to have out for like serving we are doing the bakery theme so I'm going to try to bake some sourdough tomorrow if my starter is ready my starter has been acting up with the weather um so I might just go to a bakery and get a ton of baked goods I would much rather bake them myself but I might not be able to I also will probably bake a couple things and and then I'm going to make tomato basil soup and a salad it's going to be very like Bakery usque Mac's going to come over with her an espresso we're going to have like to go cups it's going to be everything it's the I don't know if I said this already but I am doing a dinner party to every single Nancy Meyers movie that's my goal for 2025 I've already done the holiday this week we're doing it's complicated I can't wait for like Parent Trap which we probably do this summer and I'll do like an actual Camp thing not this summer actually I probably do spring so it's actually nice outside um but I'm very very very excited for this and since I'm not actually working in the yard today I'm just going to sit down get cozy and edit and do like every single thing that I can possibly do on my laptop to just get ahead um so the next couple of so that the next two days are a little bit more flexible so I've never been Cozier than I am right now like this is actually everything for dinner I'm going to do a quick little spaghetti and meatballs moment we have bonsa I am swier boxes number one fan I am a subscriber I love their stuff anyways I have some meatballs and then this is my favorite pasta sauce also look what came in the mail today I have Dolly's wine Our Queen we've got some Chardonnay like look at how me I almost like don't even want to drink it because I just want the bottles to stay like this forever [Music] [Music] vloging channels have come from change is all of you guys requested instead of velcro magnets so I do have an email and I'm waiting to hear back from them on that if we can just switch that out um the only thing is I don't know if a magnet would well I guess we could do on the outside and it'll be okay like a clasp um yeah so that should be fine but anyways look at this the cutest Kindle case you've ever seen and you can like grab behind like oh my God it's so cute I I'm so over how boring most Kel cases are we might do a couple that are like simpler just for the people who want simpler ones but like this is so much cuter like hello and then we have our project pouch I have some needle point stuff in here it's so cute okay and then uh this is like a good project bag for needle point or like a packing Cube or just a bag organizer or a makeup bag toiletry bag like it could be literally anything so anyways I love this pouch so if you guys really want these or you don't let me know down below um also the Kindle case like is happening everyone's been asking for that Kindle case so like that's going to happen regardless but I think I want all three of them to drop at the same time like that's been like my original plan just because they've just been like more fun that way so this is Peak responsibility I have my outfit laid out like obsessed I also laid out my outfit last night so I think I'm going to wear this like set I thought this is year of ours this whole time it's set active it's really soft for weightlifting this morning I actually really like this set I'm kind of shocked cuz this whole time I hope it goes well I cleaned my backyard finally which I've been putting off and I've just been working on some stuff I really want a big sourdough I'm having the hardest time with my starter because it rises slower when it's cold and it just like has not been rising the way that I would like it to I'm hoping that after this car I'm going to be able to but anyways I'm on to Coffee number three of the day [Music] why you [Music] nervous the most expensive store [Music] good morning y'all happy Thursday at the kitchen is is kind of crazy because today is dinner party day I stopped vlogging yesterday I just had a bad afternoon and I'm back okay the groceries arrived this morning this is actually a very easy dinner party that I'm hosting because it's Bakery themed so I'm like going to a bakery and getting a bunch of stuff I started on sday yesterday first up the first loaf I forgot to put the water and the starter together first and then the flour you guys probably saw that then I tossed that and did it again but my starter is just not Rising well because it's cold and honestly it just like wasn't working which like very very R happen I'm just going to go pick up stuff from a bakery today and I'm making like a soup in a salad so it's going to be very simple I've been cleaning I made my on butter this morning we're just kind of doing some like fun stuff but I like to have everything laid out for it's going to be a little annoying when I'm like actually tossing the salads and stuff but laid out like what I'm hosting I have my Jam's Bakery sign I did order chalk boards cuz I figured they'd be great to have for hosting in general anyways they're supposed to arrive yesterday now they're arriving tonight by 9:00 p.m. am so I probably won't be able to use them so it's a good thing that I just have this as backup I use this paper I'll have it linked on my Amazon like hosting thing and I it's just fun you can make cute signs and whatever so I'm going to do like a little coffee bar that'll probably hang up over there um with Macy's and espresso and I'm going to do a little tea section over there with the Mackenzie child stuff um so it's going to be like really really cute I'm really excited everyone's getting really into it I'm going to dress as Merill and the Garden obviously um so I'm really excited but anyways it's now 10:30 I need to get ready because I'm going to an event at solor this morning to celebrate Claire's socks her collab with Oli rose with on my Boost so I'm going to get ready very quickly and by that I mean I'm going to just make my hair not look like this and pull it up and then put on a set but I need to leave in like 30 minutes [Music] I [Music] [Music] it is like 4:30 I'm back prepping for the dinner party thank God my chalkboards actually did come in time I don't know if I told you guys there was some drama with the delivery AKA they were just coming later really cute and it's really making the place I actually got quite a few things from Village Bakery I got a bunch of sourdough and just like baked goods and then I'm also going to bake it seems like I'm sponsored by gonanas cuz I include them in every single Vlog I'm not I wish like I love their stuff so much they actually sent over more stuff so this is a salted caramel banana bread mix and then I'm also doing a chocolate chip banana bread mix we're going to have a lot of food I've got the tomatoes in the oven right now I'm making tomato basil soup the key to making the best tomato basil soup is heirloom tomatoes they're so good it makes it so much better so anyways I'm at least going to like get this mix going um I'm watching the cancel podcast oh guys okay I cannot believe this happened so so quickly because I was measuring for this like 48 hours ago look what's arrived and has been set up in my home okay it actually looks really cute it is throwing me off a little bit that it is so short it's going to look better when I have curtains but I'm going to try something out I'm wondering if like adding this stuff on top will be cuter the stuff that I have in my kitchen just to give it a little bit of height I think it's so fun ooh and I'm actually going to okay like I think I like this it's a little crowded I don't know it doesn't feel crowded in there okay I think I like this I'm going to move all my alcohol to here so I don't know when I'm going to do that I would like to get it done today if I have time just because it'll be easier and then I at least have like more storage and drawers and let me take a step back to see how I feel oh I think it's so cute guys oh my God okay let me give you a a full view of the room to give you a better idea like wait I am obsessed this stuff is a little bit messy right now just cuz I need to finish up some stuff but okay wait I just fixed that a little bit guys I think it looks really cute it needs to be fixed a little bit we need bigger books over there especially when the about 15 of these little baskets and then I had this cute little Straw Hat okay all right y'all I killed this this is my easiest one yet yet it's so much more fun when you have people slightly dressed up for dinner parties like this is so fun okay also this hat is the best and it doesn't hurt my head which is like really saying something [Music] taste you it yet not yet that I just what' you say I've been like trying to be detoxing yeah but I like really haven't successfully done a good job this is so good if you're not keeping up you wouldn't know that I got an an espresso I haven't seen [Music] [Applause] [Music] Espress good morning guys happy Friday last night was so fun I was up until like 1 something just so late for me um but the girlies we had a great conversation we sat at the table for like hours it was just like really really fun and then um I feel like everyone left at like 11:30 and then I started cleaning and I FaceTime Macy but that was a great night I'm really happy with how that turned out okay guys next thing I need to do the Father of the Bride my idea is that we like go thrift wedding dresses and it's like so insane so that would be just like so fun I would absolutely love love that um and I also have like The Parent Trap which I have like so many ideas for so I'm really excited for that one um it'll just depend on the weather we have to look into this got to start planning my next one very very soon anyways I was going to say if youall are new here subscribe it's not the beginning of the video I'm just tired okay so today's Friday heading off to my workout I'm wearing this set octave set and then my new balances I really weightlift a lot and then today it's going to be a lot of editing I want to move this stuff over to my Hutch I have some like press interviews to a friend of mine just lots of work okay and like I'm really tired so I'll be going to bed very early tonight and I will not be social but what's new anyways wey may be one of her like famous Instagram Instagram one of her famous coffee she's been making on Instagram last night which I think is why I was wired last night go figure allegedly she's marrying me one to our workout this morning but I had to make my own coffee just in case she doesn't cuz I don't want her to feel bad if I like you know can't stand so guys Macy remembered I knew you were going to remember oh my God it's so cute I literally like usually wake up right before I have to leave but not today not today cuz she made me her famous coffee that's so good you guys it's going to be really good you guys can get the recipe on her Instagram guys I know I say this time and time again there's just nothing like Primal Pi like I know I was like maybe I need to bring in the big guns something's going off my skin and breaking out well okay it's hormonal whatever you know but there's just nothing like it to get it's the best skin carot smells amazing oh my God also it's like my cycle so you know what like the week before at least for me I'm like oh my God I feel so inflamed and just awful and whatever and then you're S period sorry TM eye and then all of a sudden you're like oh I'm not ugly you know what I mean just give me a couple days and I'll be back is my brain working no it's not and I'm going to be sitting type type typing away and editing literally all day and I can't wait for my home projects I need to like actually get ready let's go figure that out one thing about me is I'm going to figure out a way to wear pajamas like that is going to happen update on my pool and stock tank Fiasco which is my pool the stock tank I think my handyman fixed it yesterday like I'm really really hoping and praying that he does anyways I'll be wearing a sweater today cuz my you know top up oh Master list for all my Dallas girlies for all of literally everything in Dallas like to the point of like even like my handyman a plumber wreck like literally everything is going to be like so you're this giving Ice Princess to me I need not Coco just like lurking in the background also fit as always lurking I'm currently making a list of like my top five Dallas spots for dates and it got me thinking like I am so I don't want to run into anyone that I know when I'm on a first date like something about that even though it's like not a bad thing I just don't want to do that you know so like all the places that I choose are like kind of more private or oneoff or like maybe the age demos like 50 plus you know and I don't really know why I'm like that I just like I'm kind of like that in dating in general like I Dom always says like she can never even speak about it like I will be like halfway down the aisle before I'm even like yeah I have a boyfriend like I'm just like that I'm not as much anymore like I just I feel like I've grown out of that I'm growing up a little bit I don't really know what it is actually I do it's the fact that I don't I feel like I don't want people to influence my thoughts not in a bad way like I do want people to speak up if like this is an actual disaster waiting to happen but I don't want people to influence my thoughts in the sense of like making me like someone because I feel like I'm terrified of like liking someone for the idea of them and then realizing I don't like them I think this this is because when I was like 19 or 20 I dated this guy um for like far too long and honestly it's such a crazy experience like do you guys ever do something where you feel like that was not you like I don't feel like I myself keny Piper dated this man like if I were to see him in public I honestly don't even same for him like I it's crazy that he would have ever liked me either we're just like very different people I don't know I feel like if I were to see this man in public I literally wouldn't even like recognize him like I wouldn't even be like oh that's someone that I dated but I just remember being in this relationship and just feeling so lonely and it was probably like the loneliest I've like ever felt in my life which is like kind of a little crazy and I was just in the wrong relationship we were both in the wrong relationship like neither one of us had any business dating the other person like it was just the weirdest time of my life anyways from that I think I'm just so terrified of like dating the wrong person which is like so stupid because like you have to date someone whatever I'm definitely too far but I think it somehow stems from that I wasn't I mean I've kind of always been like that in my life now that I'm thinking about it honestly I really don't know I'm just weird like I really don't know what it is I do think that has something to do with it anyways all that to say when I was thinking of like my favorite or like where I would want to go on a first date it's all places that like I would never run into someone so people might be like your recks are really weird and it's like well there's a thought process behind them you know I like went on also the craziest date a couple weeks ago it's so crazy I don't even know where to begin like part of me like wants to tell the story in the podcast but like I don't know like when I think about like cancelled and all these podcasts where they're like airing things out 24/7 like it's so entertaining and that's why they're shows do so well but like I have such a hard time like I'm like there's so many things that like I want to tell you guys cuz they're actually crazy but I like feel bad because I don't want the person to watch it and then think like like it's not necessarily that I'm like oh this is a bad guy which is like this is the most insane situation I've ever been put in in my life so I'm like I actually do want to do like a solo podcast catchup like next month and just like chalk through like random stuff because like actually it's the craziest story ever that's what like makes me not talk about like dating stories well when I wasn't dating for so long so that'll also do it but I just feel like I have so many like insane stories in life that I don't share because I'm like I don't want to hurt someone's feelings you know what I mean but it's not mean it's just like crazy it's like this was actually insane I don't know there's like so many things and if anything like going on crazy dates I think it like inspires me to date more because if I was just going on dates that were like kind of boring all the time I think I would just be like well that's nothing and I don't like him whatever but when you go on a date with like a really really crazy guy you're like wait I can do this again because the stories are so good but I also like at the same time like never want to experience that ever again in my life that's why you always go on a first date with drinks like an hour cap that's it like there's really no other option cuz I also like really want to do like some sort of like entertaining hosting book like I almost want it to be like a coffee table book that's like cookbook s but not cookbook I don't know there's just like so much I want to do but anyways that's story for another day okay last night was like really really fun I just think in life especially when you're like trying to combat like depression or something you just like need things to look forward to and you don't need to have like some crazy crazy trip that's why hosting is cool and you don't need to spend a ton of money at all like there's ways to do it very inexpensively actually it's cheaper a lot of the time to do it at home if you do it inexpensively than it would be to like go out but it's just like the small things in life that you can consistently look forward to and it's like wow I'm already excited for like our next one we were talking about at our workout this morning it's just exciting update on this like glossier lash slick Brown mascara like it does not hold curl in your lashes literally at all so it's not the biggest deal ever because obviously I want this to be more natural but like it does nothing for your lashes like it does obviously give you color but it doesn't hold them at all and my lashes are so straight I have to curl them and the mascara has to hold them up and like this does not do that [Music] there yes [Music] all right y'all it is now much later it is Friday night at 8:00 p.m. and I'm home unboxing packages I've been working all day now I'm here with Fitz um but I wanted to show you guys these things cuz they're so cute saon has home wear they have really cute like tabl top really cute glasswear I they have like lamps and pillows and stuff anyways how cute are these like I love these little bowls I think they're so fun honestly if you have a small dog like very cute dog buls actually but love these and then I love how this on always gives you a little tote bag it's so nice to have a ton oh sorry fits so nice to have totes on hand um just even for guess when you're like sending them home with stuff to like send them with this versus something else so anyways love that and then another package from W hair has arrived I got this for the center of my table over there my dining room I'm doing a little dining room refresh and then I got Moss balls which is like cool the only thing I don't like about the dining room right now is it's a little too like pink and green it feels like kind of like I don't know almost like cheesy useful I think I just need to change up the colors it's because of the plates and the not the colors from the plates I'm keeping the plates I think I just need to change up like the flowers like the blue and the it's too much color like there's it's just too much color so I'm going to switch this out and then probably move the flowers or triggers something out I'm not actually sure so we will get there um also in other news Macy randomly decided to sign up for a weight list for a half marathon that's happening in London early April and she got off the weight list and then Tabby also signed up I did as well but I think Tabby signed up before me Tabby got off the waight list this morning and now I'm like okay honestly I really have I kind of do think I'll get off the weight list I don't know I I don't want to get my hopes up but now I'm like I I think I need to start training for half marathon because I think that's 7 weeks away and if that's happening like I it really I need to be running I haven't been running I haven't even gone on a run in probably 2 months so that's going to be a tough 7 weeks of training to go from you know nothing to a half marathon but I can do it honestly like doing the 10K it's like I can do a half just like I wish I would have kept up with it in the meantime because now it's going to be like so tough but anyways it would just be so fun and like London I love London I'm always looking for any excuse to go so I just feel like this is like best of both World it'll be tough it's going to be very hard don't get me wrong but we've been wanting to do a half we couldn't figure out which half we wanted to do and this one just kind of fell into our lap so everyone like please pray for me that I get into this half Marth out of London because if not it's going to be very sad I'm going to go either way um and if I don't get in like it'll be a lot of training for nothing basically but I mean it's still like I guess it's not for nothing technically speaking but I would really like to run it if I'm going to London and Tabby and Macy are running it like I I don't want to be left out I've got to like actually do that you know what I mean but anyways I'm going to go to bed in like 30 minutes because I am exhausted and I have a run in the morning
