How's it going everybody? I'm Nikki Delventhal and this is my dog Camper Delventhal.
We live in a 2006 Toyota Prius and we're here to take you along on the wild ride.
So fasten up your seat belts and let's have some fun.
Don't forget if you like what you see, like, subscribe, comment,
share with your friends and turn on notifications. Camper and I would be so thankful.
On last week's episode, Hotel Prius works its way down to Florida.
Here we run into some major car issues. Should not be driving this thing.
We visit our grandparents and do some retirement training.
Then we leave off our adventures bunking up on a bridge on the west coast of Florida.
Enjoying the weather. Wow it's windy. I'm getting splashed by water.
And go to sleep eager for the big adventure day ahead.
Good morning Camper. Let's see what's going on out here.
Oh boy it's a rainy day. Good morning everybody. Oh my god, some guy just pulled up right next
to us last night at like midnight and had their lights on for over an hour.
Okay, is there a reason that this person is like right on top of me? This is so annoying.
Dude, f*** this person. So we ended up moving.
Only a little bit though. And slide into the front seat. Oh god, there's sand everywhere.
And that's so muddy. How are we gonna do this?
There's a pajama sheet that keeps everything clean. Okay, we gotta make this quick, okay dude?
So we quickly went outside, cleaned off Camper's paws.
Even Camper didn't want to be out there. Hung the towels to dry, and we're ready to hit the road.
Oh yeah, and in case you were wondering, we will be wearing pajamas all day until further notice.
We got a little break in the weather, so we are gonna take a walk at this next rest area. Yes!
Maybe not so much a break in the weather. It started raining quite quickly,
but whatever. We're still gonna move our legs, right Camp?
On our walk, we noticed some covered benches and found the perfect opportunity for coffee.
Not the most serene or scenic, but we are here. We start every morning with a good cup of coffee.
I have a ton of methods of making mine, but this one is my favorite.
Mine too. Mostly because it's so easy. Also, we apologize in advance for the highway noise.
Well, we already got this far. In my coffee, I use a mushroom adaptogen mixture,
grass-fed collagen, and more milk than I do coffee.
After coffee, we played a little bit, threw out our trash, and then we hit the road.
During this drive, I ended up making a few phone calls and ended up securing a camp spot at one of
my favorite Florida freshwater springs. All right, and this is us, camper.
I'm not gonna get any privacy, but this works. Uh, yes, we're still in our pajamas. Wow,
my tummy just crumbled. You want this while we make food? No? Okay, well, maybe we'll change.
Probably not. Yeah, maybe. Still questionable. Let's take you guys with us. This is how we do
it. I move everything. Oh, over here. Let me open up. Look at that. Fully stocked sexiness.
Okay, that's all you get to see today. I want to make eggs, but I don't feel like getting all of
my electrical stuff wet, so what can you make as a salad? Well, good thing we didn't start our walk
yet because there is a full-blown downpour right now. Come along with me on my journey to the
passenger seat. I think it stopped raining. Maybe this is unnecessary. No, still fun.
I am now forced to change due to wet booty. Towel did not do its job.
Oh, it's downpouring again. Do we stay in it?
In some circumstances, I might even use this as an opportunity for a shower, but
this campground has a shower. So, on that note, once we finished eating, we went for a rainy walk.
It might be raining, but that's not going to spoil our fun. I don't know.
We're kind of taking cover under this little jungle oasis here.
You can't really tell, but it is raining so hard. Yes, shelter. Here comes some.
So, as we waited for a break in the weather, we got a little workout in.
Love family campgrounds. Though legend has it, there is one place you can go to escape
screaming children. Parents, please confirm. The shower. Yes, I know. That was my first
shower in a couple days. This should be fun. Come on. Don't stop. Don't stop.
That's not working as well as I was hoping. Well, at least now it's damp and not soaked.
That was so good. Let that dry right up there.
I'm hungry. I kind of want the same thing I had for lunch. You already saw me make this exactly.
So, we ate and waited for the sun to set before retiring to the car.
Where we had our usual nighttime routine, set up the car, and headed to bed.
Good night, everybody. Good morning, camper. It rained so much last night.
It's the weekend. Me here, so we should probably get a move on pretty early.
Excuse me. Normally, I really like to take my time in the morning and do coffee and everything,
but the place we're going today gets really busy and only allows a certain amount of people. So,
we're going to hurry up and get there. Camper's going to nap a little bit longer,
and while he does that, we're just going to check out the swimming area.
It is.
All to ourselves. Although, we forgot sunscreen. We might be paying for that later.
All right. We're going for a swim. Here we go. I'm going to plug my nose up.
That was amazing.
Rainbow Springs also has a ton of beautiful hiking trails,
so we're going to go do that now. I'm going to change first.
You ready? All right. Let's go.
While we were down by the water, we met a local who offered to take us around their favorite
trails. So, we are super lucky because Steve is a local to the area, so he's showing us all
the trails and teaching us all about everything. So pretty. This is so beautiful. You do have to
watch for gators, so keep an eye out. And this is why we came early. It's wild here. There's a
huge line. Before we left, we had to hop in one more time. There's so many people now. Good thing
we came this morning. That's not a lot of people. On a holiday when there's like 600 heads bobbing
in that water. No way. This was also the perfect opportunity to take the day's shower and soak up
a little bit more sunshine. That was an amazing day. We're going to change and then dry it off.
Okay, I'm hungry and we haven't had coffee today, so I think first thing is going to go
and find some coffee. I don't feel like really making any. I kind of just want to get on the road.
Okay, well that's adorable. It is such a beautiful day out, so we're just going to
hang out here and have some coffee. We're in a greeting crew over here. Right there.
