So much is changing... our new home!
Wow. Oh wow. That looks good. That looks really good. Are you ready? Yeah.
Another day, another vlog.
Another day, another dog.
You're so cute. You're so cute. You're a good dog. Okay, get out of here.
Yeah, sorry guys. Anyway, another day, another vlog. Welcome back. We're going to cook some
breakfast right now and chat about some random stuff. But what else? Oh yeah, that is what
everyone watching this wants to do to me right now. What's happening today? What are we doing?
Oh my gosh, we need to go see the renovation property because... Oh yeah, I think cabinets
are like built in there and like ready to kind of be put in place and like flooring has started
going in. So I think there's a lot to go look at. Allegedly, allegedly things are happening. It's
all up in the air. And we picked paint color for the interior as well. Paint swatch. Sleek white.
Yes. It actually probably took us an embarrassingly long amount of time to cut down five
to one. It took us a really long time together because we're both really indecisive. Gabe
especially just kept going room to room. Yes, it was mostly my fault. I was going room to room,
then going back to the places that we already looked at, holding up the same few swatches in
the same places. It's hot, okay? They're all slightly different enough, but then after a while
my eyes were just kind of getting dizzy and I was like, what am I looking at? Like it all just
kind of becomes the same. Another day, another swatch. Breakfast on the menu today. I really
enjoy doing a little bit of everything, don't I? Like my perfect breakfast would probably be...
Yes, and it's so much fun. You get to cook so many different things. Yes, I like a little bit
of everything. The only thing we don't have right now is something sweet, but that's okay. We do
have something sweet. She's right here. Eggs, chicken sausage, and Vegemite toast. And guess
who's having Vegemite toast? He's a secret Vegemite lover. We should take some time to
really discuss stuff that's been on our minds recently, that we all cumulatively have been
thinking about. And I think the thing that we should start with is Will Smith's a lot,
because it's really important to give another opinion on the topic. You need a chord somehow,
like, get my eggs. Keep my eggs out your mouth. Yeah, that was crazy. It's such like a strange
viral moment that has happened in culture. You know what I mean? Yeah. I feel like something
hasn't happened in a long time. It's like, oh, that was the viral thing that happened that every
single person on the planet is talking about. And then that happened. And literally every single
person was talking about that thing. When Kanye went up with Beyonce or Taylor Swift. No, Taylor
Swift. That was very, very nice. I don't even know what I'm freaking doing right now. But you're
just making the eggs. I know. I'm just like trying to talk and entertaining at the same time. It just
doesn't work because I can't do two things at once. Unlike me. Sick. Good job. Cheers. Cheers,
big ears. You guys are watching this a week later, but this is for the Australian F1 race that is
happening this weekend. God bless Australia. God bless Australia. God bless kangaroos. And God
bless Daniel Ricotta. Look what he's turned me into. Look what you've turned me into. Our life
has been so crazy the past few weeks. There's a lot of things happening. A lot of moving pieces.
If you didn't know, there's a baby on the way. That's like the main thing that we should be
focusing on. But there's so much. There's just so much. Kind of like a whirlwind. It's like,
let's just get past these next like month and a half. I think baby girl already loves Vegemite.
Because you're eating it and then it's going into your stomach and then she can taste what
you're eating, right? She loves that. Because science. I don't think we can fully talk about
the changes yet or certain things that are happening. But like soon. Yeah, probably like
next video or two. So anyway, be tuned on that. Hey, be tuned on it. Freaking tuned up. Yeah.
When you want to say dog and dude at the same time, deal. You're sitting on a box of Huggies,
by the way. You are. This is the truth. Which is just like diapers. Can we call them nappies? I want
the baby to call them nappies. Like, because we live in America. I need her to like,
have Australian bird cat. It's kind of like speaking to your kids in Spanish in the house
and then they understand Spanish but then they get English from everywhere else. Exactly. Okay.
Basically speaking another language. Nappies, pram, cot, dummies. American translation, diapers,
stroller, crib, binky. You're so good at it. I can translate everything. It's fine. I got it,
guys. Don't worry. I think it's important once we make it to Australia to take a birthing class
because I'm watching a lot of the videos and I just want you to be prepared because I know you're
prepared with all of your soothing words. It's okay, babe. Veggie my toast. Milo.
Knitting. Knitting. Stay calm, babe. And push the baby out of your beguine.
Anyway, I just think it'll be good for us to take a class so you're prepared.
Maybe you can have some soothing words. Reminding you to breathe. Use your diaphragm.
Project. Oh, no. Do you have to use your diaphragm when you're pushing? You have to use a lot of
things when you're pushing, right? You're going to get a lot of things when you're pushing.
Girl, you're going to be using a lot of things when you're pushing that baby out.
We should maybe just eat breakfast. Yeah, okay. See you at the renovation, guys.
All right, guys. As we enter, either two things have happened. There's been a lot of change and
we're going to be really surprised or there hasn't been any change and we're not going to be
because we were here yesterday, so. Oh, wow. Wow. Oh, wow. That looks good.
That looks really good. This is crazy. This looks so good. Are you ready? Yeah.
Give us the tour, babe. Let us know what's going on. The ceiling's primed. It made such a difference
in brightening up the room, especially because we're putting darker floors. The kitchen layout
is new. So all these cabinets yesterday were being built and they were just piled in this
room. So this being all laid out and put in place. It's so good. So what's really crazy is
this used to be basically four sliding doors in this corner here, but I think the pantry looks
like it was just meant to be there. It really does. That is so crazy. And the fridge is going
there, so it'll be like a symmetrical big piece, big piece. And we're going to have exposed shelving.
This whole thing here was just like a giant wall and the kitchen was enclosed. There was an entrance
right there and an entrance right there. So good.
Just like that chandelier right there. It looks so good.
I was expecting it to be really soft. No, that is, those are heavy. This used to have like a bunch
of indents in it. Did it used to be have that? Don't even judge my speaking for the next couple
months, okay? Okay. So they made it all flush. That's nice that they're doing that for the TV.
Yeah. Behind the TV. That's sick. And then this used to be an old, small fireplace. So we've
made an opening for a new fireplace. It's going to be an electric one. Here in Florida, you don't
really need a normal fireplace. Unfortunately, I love them. I know. This is also not going to be
looking like this as well. We're going to have a little brick action. This used to be sunken in.
It was like a sunken bath. And it's really funny. Gabe's brother loved it. He was like,
oh my gosh, hot tub. Yeah. He was like, you need to keep that. Are you kidding me? That's so sick.
This is going to be a double channel. You can see it's already starting to take place. There's
going to be one big sheet of glass here. Then you can step in this way into the shower. And then
we're going to have the tub over there. Oh, and then the window here was taken out. So you can
now poop without having a direct view into the shower. You need some privacy. Yeah. When you're
dropping a deuce, you need to have a little privacy. I'm really happy with how everything's
coming along. And it's happening really quickly too. Yeah. It's been like four or five weeks since
they're already putting in cabinets. That's like unheard of. So just to recap the past hour,
my dad showed up at the house and we showed him around. A little run on what we're doing,
what's going on, what the vibe is. We were on FaceTime with Seb for a little bit, which was
funny. Catching up. And then Jess, what happened? I was like, oh my gosh, we need to leave right now.
It really isn't a big deal. I told our immigration attorney that I would drop off some paperwork and
go in to sign some stuff today. It just slipped my mind. So that's what we're up to now. And then
we're going to open a bunch of baby packages. Yes. The amount of packages from these brands
that we're getting is actually, we're really shocked. Here we are. We're back. Things are
going well. We're just going to see what's inside. We're very grateful for all of these.
And I just like, I don't want us to come across like in a bad rude way or like a showy way. No,
we just, we thought it'd be fun for all of us to just open these. We're grateful to all the brands.
We are so grateful for you for sending this stuff and just excited. Like I just get so excited
looking at baby stuff. And anyway, yeah, I'm part of this like men's group thing. And Jordan,
my buddy, wrote this book. It's a children's book and it's just amazing. It's called The Creator
in You by Jordan Rayner. Every time I read it, I cry. When he first read it to us, I was like,
I need that for our daughter. Literally the most inspiring children's book. Honestly,
I recommend this for adults as well. It's a really beautiful story. I love it. And the
illustrate, let me just show you one page. Look at that. And the hand up there, God,
shaping the mountains. Are you kidding me right now? Okay. So this comes all the way from New
Zealand. The girl who sent it wants to remain private, but she bought these things from the
children's hospital and the proceeds go towards helping sick children. Everything is so cute.
Oh my gosh. That's cute. You know what this reminds me of? The beanie that you want to knit.
Yes. Jess is going to knit a beanie for our baby. Okay. Myler thinks everything is for him. He's
going to go through the biggest shock of his life. Oh my gosh. When we bring the baby,
can I have your knife? Oh, so there's a bunch of different stuff. A little burp set, a blanket.
Oh snap. We've got a baby camera, baby monitor. That's what it's called. Oh my gosh. Are you
kidding me? What about this giant box here? Not just any bottles, guys. Booby bottles.
Oh wow. This is an electric breast pump. I was actually looking at these and it's a little
koala. Oh my gosh. Cute. Baby's first year book. A basket to house it all. That's so sweet. Like
a little diaper caddy. Yeah. We're so lucky. We really are. I feel just... Did somebody say
hashtag blessed? Okay, that was really cringy. Yeah, I know. But we're really thankful. Thank
you to any brand, anyone sending us stuff. We really, really appreciate it. You don't have to,
but we're very grateful and it makes us feel very special. Anyway, thank you for hanging with us
today. Appreciate it. Lots of fun stuff is happening. Definitely be in the tune. What
did you say earlier? I don't know. Stay on the lookout. Be tuned in. The next couple of weeks.
Yeah. Good stuff's happening. Thank you guys for watching. We love you and we'll see you
next time. Peace out from Jess and Gabriel Conti. Yew.
