Our next competitor represents Kazakhstan. Here is Mikhail Shaidorov.
And the quad toe as well. Real quality etched over there.
Makes it look so easy. Quad toe, triple toe, first jump pass of the second half.
Triple Lutz, double Axel. And there's the triple Lutz on his own.
From Kazakhstan, Mikhail Shaidorov.
Just take it in, Mikhail. Remember this moment.
Well, I was privileged enough to be in Seoul in Korea and watch him win the Four Continents Championships there.
And he skated a blinder. But this, I think, was better. I think this was in another class.
He's just gone up a notch, pushed it a little bit more. Fantastic stuff.
He is unbelievable. What about that first jump pass?
He's the only one to do it. Triple Axel, Euler, quad Salchow.
He's made history by being the first person and only currently in competition to do this.
Also, the triple Axel quad toe in combination. He's made history doing that as the first person.
Here it is. Triple Axel, Euler, quad Salchow. One, two, three, four. Unbelievable.
He made it look easy.
Here the quad Lutz. He made everything look so easy.
And he's made it easy for the judges to give him positive grades of execution.
Here is the quadruple toe loop. Triple toe in the second half. 17.78 points for that.
And he says it's such an honor that young kids in Kazakhstan are looking up to him.
And it's really important to him and dear to his heart to push this sport in his home country.
And he continues to do that every time he steps on the ice.
Yes, he's getting better and better. He really is. He's got to work on his celebration though, hasn't he?
It was phenomenal.
Well, he's put pressure on the two remaining skaters, that's for sure.
It's going to be huge and he's going to take the lead.
Yes, 192.70. And that is a new season's best.
That's better than he got in the Four Continents Championships when he won.
It's brilliant. It's getting better and better for Mikhail Shydorov.
Brilliant stuff.
