First SOLO TRAVEL to AUSTRALIA - Sydney SURPRISED me!

We've waited nearly until coming here. Let's chase the sun and spend the summer. Welcome to Sydney. It has been so amazing so far. I think I landed in heaven. I'm going to cry, this is delicious. Usually, this time of the year, we're running around in our bikinis. But this year, we're in our winter clothes. I feel like I've click-baited Nelly into coming here. Let's chase the sun and spend the summer. I have no winter clothes, so I literally have to take her clothes to stay warm. But today, we're going to explore a little bit of the city. I'm super, super excited. I'm going to take you along because it has been so amazing so far. I'm excited to see what else we'll explore. Amazing, let's get it. I was worried we would not find a proper coffee shop, but we are in Australia. After all, we've got some really nice coffee here, flat white. Flavor is amazing. I'm going to cry. This is delicious. This is really delicious. I do love traveling to new places, as you already know. The best part about traveling to new places is to meet locals who actually live there. They tell you all the stories about the places that you've been to. Miro just told me, this is the first club that I went to when I was 16. I used my friend's ID. It's so nice to just get to know a city from somebody who has been living here. 100%. The best. Cheers. This coffee is so good. I'm going to have a few coffees. It's so good. This place is called Cargo. I used to come here clubbing when I was 17 all the time because a lot of my friends used to work as security guards. It's this place over here. One time when I started working for a company, after Christmas party, I brought everybody back here. I couldn't find my security friends. I was at the front of the queue. They were about to check my ID. I'm like, I made 25 people come here. Imagine if I can't get in. Another funny story about this place. When I finally turned 18, I came here. I showed the security guard my ID. The guy was like, what do you mean you just turned 18? You've been coming here for two years. Okay. What are we on, Mira? This is Queen Victoria building of Sydney. What's special about it? You're like, I don't know. It's just there. Quick little break because I have a little announcement to make. There are buses. Public transportation is great. You just take your credit card. Is it also with the credit card? Yeah. Yeah, so you just take your credit card, tap it, and it's paid. Amazing. Paperless. Love it. And everything is so clean. Look how clean. Wow. I'm like a kid in a candy store. I requested an Aussie brunch style lunch. So here we are at The Grounds. Here we go. Menu. What would you recommend? Ooh. This could take a while. A thousand of years later. An eternity later. One eternity. Later. Okay, it is a few moments later and we did not end up going to that place because we couldn't make a decision. So we ended up having a poke bowl, which was delicious. Good choice. And now we are out and about again. Where are we now? Pitt Street Mall. Okay. So this is a public pedestrian area with a lot of shops, right? So if you want to go shopping. It's the shopping center of the CBD. There are like three or four shopping centers all in the same place. Just pick your favorite depending on what your budget is. Yeah. And I also just met a viewer of mine, Jerry. Everything is so sweet, right? So cute. Yeah. Did he convince you to come to the Philippines? He did. Yeah, he did. He sold it to me. Really. Apparently Christmas starts in September. Yeah. I love Christmas. Yeah. And I said I am missing Christmas vibes. Not in the Christmas mood yet. But we will look for Christmas markets here. Are there any? Yes. For sure. So I am currently at a shopping arcade. And it is completely empty. It's six o'clock. I think I am the only one here. Besides some people who work here. Everything closes very, very early here. It's hard to lose a chosen one. You did not break me. I barely escaped you out. So this right here is the Sydney Town Hall. Very pretty. Alrighty. We have entered Chinatown in Sydney. It is a completely different vibe. Especially considering that the writing is all in Chinese. Different letters. It's a very different vibe. A lot of restaurants, people are lining up in front of the restaurants. Seems to be very popular here. So I definitely want to try some food here as well. Yeah. And now, right now, I am just in this little alley here. Exploring the neighborhood. Oh, we have Cantonese duck here. Look at that. Wow. So yeah. You see, everything is just in different letters. Different writing. Completely different vibe. Amazing, cute phone cases. Okay, I spotted one of those stores. I know I have to go in there. I just know it. I'm not going to buy anything, but I'm just going to look. Oh my goodness. They're so cute. Didn't stay too long in there. Too many temptations. But now I entered this arcade store. Look at this. So cute. Wow. Told you, different vibe. Everything is just pink in here. I really didn't want to eat too many sweets, but this sounds amazing. Sweet fermented rice. I could give it a try. You know, I work a lot today. I'm going to burn the calories. Look at this store. Wow. I think I landed in heaven. Look at this. Okay. There is definitely a lot of temptations here. I decided to go with a strawberry tart. Looks so good. I'm just going to give it a try. All right. Look at that. Beautiful. And I also got one of these fermented rice drinks. Super looking forward to it. Okay. Let's try this one. Come on, Nelly. You can do this. You can do this in a very elegant way. What is this strawberry? Oh my goodness. There is some custard in there. It's delicious. Okay. The sun is setting, so I definitely want to make it for sunset to the opera house. I decided to have my drink on the go. This is from Sweet Lou. It's a fermented rice drink. It's very satisfying. It's like a milk tea, not too sweet, but sweet enough to have the satisfaction. And the fermented rice is actually nice. All righty. I'm getting a lot of steps in today. Very good. I had a lot of sweets. I need it. So right now, I am here at the Sydney Harbour Bridge. And right behind me, the Sydney Opera House. I was jokingly saying to my parents, look, it's the thing from the TV. So I'm very much looking forward to spend New Year's here. Just watch the fireworks. Sydney is one of those cities that has the first New Year celebrations. So this year, I'm going to experience that for myself, which is super, super amazing. And what's really nice, there's the opera kitchen and bar down there. So you can sit there, have some food, drinks, enjoy the views. And then you have an amazing sunset here right behind the building. Super, super highly recommended. I made it up the stairs of the opera house, and it's very quiet up here. So if you want to enjoy the view of the Harbour Bridge and the skyline, you can come up here. But something that I realized that I never thought is that the opera house has a structure. Look at this. It has some tiles on there. Little fun, interesting fact. Something that I learned today. I hope you learned something new today as well. The sun has set, and I am super, super hungry. I just spotted this Christmas market over here. So here we go, Christmas food in Sydney. Luckily, I'm very hungry. Who would say after a full day of eating? But I walked a lot, so I burned a lot of calories. I really deserve this. Yeah, I travel for food, so this is my thing. I just spotted some cheesy deliciousness. I think I'm going for it. Long line here, I think. Seems to be very well worth it. Mochi is over here. Is it pasta? Yes, a carbonara. All right, they even have German hot dogs here. Bratwurst, bangers, all the things. I don't really miss Austrian food that much, so I'm just going for something else. Next one, stroopwafels. All right, I decided to go for the raclette. I just miss raclette from Austria. That's the one typical Austrian thing that you have to try, so I'm just bringing some home to Australia, from Austria to Australia. Delicious. Thank you. Bye-bye. All right, I just took the bus for the very first time here in Sydney. Super easy. The paying system is, as I said, very different. You just tap with your card, that's it. Right now, I will just find my way home. My battery is almost empty, so I just need to coordinate. But yeah, what an amazing day. Loved, loved, loved exploring today. I think I have over 20,000 steps. Got to see some of you guys, which was amazing, so I'm definitely going to do a meet-up here in Sydney as well.
