Only Eating Japanese 7-Eleven Food for 24 HOURS! Tokyo Convenience Store Challenge

hello guys welcome back to a brand new video today is a really fun one we are here in Tokyo Japan and we're going to be eating food from 7-Eleven for 24 hours I'm talking breakfast lunch dinner and snack I mean we're definitely going to be eating everything for 7-Eleven but if we walk past like a really cool looking little Street Food Store I'm not saying that I'm not going to try it does that mean we're cheating or the food here in Japan is incredible and we've been to 7-Eleven all over the world it's not somewhere you usually think to eat a meal as anything other than convenience and ease and budget friendly options but in Japan it's a little bit different we're going to show you in a second but the range here is just it's unbelievable you're not going to you're not going to believe the choice of food in a convenience store I actually can't wait to eat it for the next day I can't wait it's breakfast time we just had a coffee oh probably should have got a coffee from there I'm so does that mean we failed before we've even begun no we haven't failed yet it's fine the 24hour Starts Now [Music] okay so we're in the baked good section wow they have so much goodl looking stuff here they got pancakes Belgian waffles small like oh look at this milk buns everything just looks so good pork patty with teriyaki sauce chocolate filled horn that's you chocolate sauce in the middle of it this is so cool you never see this anywhere else they have pre made ramen here you can just buy full meals noodles with pork beef okay very quick 7-Eleven hul we've got some water these are what they call cream buns oh my gosh they're so dense kind is hungry so he's going straight in cheers darling do cheers I don't know what they are they're super heavy wow looks so soft oh my goodness that is incred incredible so these were we're going to put the price on the screen for everything we Tred Today George and Lucy editing this are going to hate us but it's going to be worth it it's going to make a very cool video so these were 168 Yen which is it's amazing it's just custard inside it's actually barely any PR it's mainly custom which is why it's so dense you like it m we also got this a fruit beginning with K that I'm not going to show in front of this guy because he's going to want it now until he finishes his bun so this one and the next two things I actually bought purely because I have no idea what they are so this a cake type looking thing with some writing on no idea and also this which is called [Music] balen looks almost like a crep cak like rolled up into a circle no idea wanted to try them the detail on that though it's incredible is this one especially and this is this is a convenience store and then Jordan's main course is chicken cutlet sandwich sauce which is 380 y and and then a chicken and egg with teraki sace sandwich 320 Yen okay time to tuck into our sandwiches I love the bread this is super soft I think is it look red or is it not such a chunky bit of uh is it chicken yeah chicken cutlet with a sauce and cabbage so cheers breakfast in Japan wow you might have flavor in that it's so well seasoned it's so good I don't want to eat other food t I do all I want to do is eat 1011 food but there's so many other options as well the quality for the price you're paying is very cheap and very delicious I have the chicken and egg with Teryaki sauce even the packaging has like a very convenient open pulley amount times in the UK I've like tried to open a sandwich box and it's just so fiddly fumbling around everything in Japan works just works it's efficient sometimes too quick our lifts a bit quick like I walked into the bathroom the toilet seat opened yeah like the elevator you walk up to it it opens closes on you the hotel elevator is a little bit too efficient did close on my arm but never mind probably me being too slow so here we have the oh the bread is so soft look at that look at that guys the I can't tell you how soft that bread is so good packed with flavor know when you buy cheap sandwiches and they look may look nice but I don't know it kind of looks a bit fake and the flavor is not very good and it's a bit Bland not here not in Japan that is full of flavor packed with flavor it's salty it's really delicious if I'd ordered that in a restaurant not that I go around restaurants ordering sandwiches but like just so satisfying really good and just quickly take a look at just how many 7 elvs there are in Tokyo so we're filming a whole other video today of our day we're going around Tokyo we're about to visit a temple so we're just walking there now I'm going to try this one just here T like a madira it's really yummy very sweet probably not the best breakfast food to get your day started right but it is delicious so okay now we're trying this one no idea what's in it I have a guess that it might be like a red bean paste but I've completely made that up I'm just thinking of my like Japanese knowledge maybe that's what's inside it I think it is wow that sticks to the roof of your mouth not sweet at all well it is a tiny bit sweet but it's not like a sickly feeling at all this was more like a breakfasty one so lunch time now in 7-Eleven they do these whole meals got a a rice bowl with pork and egg okay guys it's now lunch time and we are in an area near Harajuku which is like a 10-minute walk from shabuya Crossing and we found a 7-Eleven but it's kind of within an office block so that was like a lunchtime Rush of people super busy in there it was one guy working on about five different tills he was heating up our food and then taking the next person's shopping and doing that and then the next person next lesson it was one guy across multiple tills so very cool to watch so we went for a Savory pancake with pork stir fried noodles and sauce and the reason I went for this one is cuz look at this incredible pattern let me just open it up and show you guys incredible pattern on the um top of the pancake and I think it's like Japanese mayonnaise on top smells amazing as well and it came with these um with this which I have no idea what it is maybe it's fish flakes and this little um pack it on top so they give you Chopsticks they heat it up in a microwave for you let give this a go I'm not sure what Savory pancake means oh nice it's like an egg kind of thing looks like there's some cabbage and some spring onions that's really good let's get some of these noodles got a big massive Crow above my head really nice the sauce is very salty it's like soy sauce kind of thing with some Japanese May across the top I also picked up these which are rice crackers with a brown sugar flavor so let's try one of these oh wow they look exactly like the bucket M wow they're so good it tastes exactly like the bobber in a milk tea when you get like a brown sugar milk tea okay try not to spill this beef patty with the sauce and some veg separately I'm guessing underneath is purely rice I think you just pour it on top right yeah look there you go can all just go in okay perfect okay they make that quite easy okay so we got the pork and beef patty here I thought there were two patties in here so I'm guessing this is actually like a mix txture so it's like it's kind of like a burger steak try it on oh it smells good try it on its own first it's really tasty does taste a little bit processed flavor is good the sauce is really nice so this was um for the price it's good I am getting airplane food vibes okay from this one to be honest got I think maybe prepackaged stuff is better like the sandwiches the cutlet sandwiches are my absolute favorite from 7-Eleven okay final 7-Eleven stop of the day it's now dark B went near our hotel and we're going to get some food for dinner we're in the we these biks oh yeah also thinking about some dessert maybe some ice cream or something sweet wow it's like strawberry and pistachio ice cream it's amazing it's all just packaged up but it's still got the like whippy top I think this is the biggest range of food that we've seen so far today in 7-Eleven like they have stuff here like hamburger steaks butter chicken curry vegetables full-on sausages smoked meat I mean look at this you can get like a uh sausage and bacon pasta it's just wild like we can we are comparing this I guess to something like a Tesco Express in the UK and you would never really get like these other than ready meals that you get in any Supermarket you don't really get this kind of thing that's why we're so kind of wowed by it hey okay ignore the Christmas music in the background but back at the hotel show you what we got we got some salty steamed soy beans Ed and Mommy beans we got a pork egg and soy sauce little rice packet thingy we got a similar sort of thing but that's just H egg fried rice and soy sauce these are little mchy looking ice cream bowls and then also this which I'm very excited for little strawberry flavored ice cream partt so I love edamam beans they're so good really fresh and only 180 Yen nice to actually have a vegetable today actually I think we've not been too healthy in this video going straight in with this mchi bow thing it's like really melting and it looks interesting right now that's bizarre it just filled your entire mouth with cream look at that that's actually oh it's so delicious wow and then finally we've got the strawberry dessert M it's very good but very thicky sweet and quite hard to eat because the strawberries are ice cold so you have to kind of like chew them which you don't really want to do that's actually not my favorite but I do really like these they kind of taste like white chocolate I would definitely get them again my camera
