Happy Easter everyone. Welcome to another Daily Juice. Welcome to attempt two of grocery
shopping. It's definitely open today, so let's go and see how long this queue's going to
be.
So it seems we've actually cornered off this whole area now, so no one can sit down in
the day. All the seated benches and stuff on the high street, and that definitely wasn't
there before. Oh no. Oh no. This is really the queue.
Okay, I'm finally inside the mall. I queued outside for about one hour, and now I'm in
this line system, as before. And also M&S food that's upstairs, they've actually taken
a lot of their stock and put it out in the mall, so that maybe if you just want to get
a few bits, you can go there instead. But yeah, one hour down so far, finally in some
air conditioning, which is great news, and hopefully we'll be able to get a few more
bits, so hopefully this will only be maybe another hour, and then I can start shopping.
But I'm kind of hungry, so we'll see how this goes.
Okay, so it's no queue out here now. Right, loaded up. Four bags and the rucksack's worth
of food, and it was quite successful. Sorry I didn't film anything in there, it was kind
of busier than before, and I was just running around trying to get everything, but I was
in there for quite a long time, just trying to find everything we need and strategically
like plan out what there is and what we can make from that. And I was joking around with
the guy on the checkout counter, and he was like, do you need assistance to your car?
And I was like, ah, do not have one of them, I'm walking. He was like, what? It's so heavy,
how are you going to carry it? I was like, it's okay, I'm very strong. And he like loaded
me up like a donkey, put all these bags on my shoulders, veteran, really, really helpful
guy, but the staff in Russians are doing an awesome job at keeping everyone safe, keeping
the correct distance between people, and they've always got a smile on their face, so thumbs
up from me. Aw, I'd love to stay and chat, but I'm not allowed. Ah, you'll come with
me. Follow me, follow me. Let's surprise George with a new pet. She has returned. She's sweaty.
She's hot. She's incredibly strong. I wanted to high five her, and I was like, no, I can't
high five. Lucy's going to shower and freshen up, then I'm going to help her with the shopping,
happy Sunday guys, haven't said hello to you yet. How was that? Hard. Yeah, busy? I'm so
sweaty, look at my face. No. Do I look a mess? You do look quite sweaty. And look how red
my arms are, this is the heaviest ever. I know, well done. Oh, we just weighed it, by
the way. Yeah. Was it too, it was just- No, no, no, it doesn't matter, because I need
to take it off my weight, so I need to shower, and then once I've showered, I'll weigh myself,
then minus it. Then minus it, then we'll give you the weight. Yeah. Okay. All right guys,
I've had a shower, I've washed my hair, as you can see, plonked on top of my head, and
for those of you wondering, I just weighed myself and took it off of what the weight
was of me carrying all the bags and the scales, and I was carrying home 30 kilograms on my
shoulders, and now I've got huge red marks. But it was good exercise, and it was good
fresh air, so I can't complain. Also, these are my Easter nails. What do you think? Easter-y
That whole round trip was just over three hours to get the groceries, and it wasn't
exactly how we planned to spend our Easter Sunday. However, we're going to do something
fun a bit later on that involves chocolate. Whilst Lucy was out, guys, I have been quite
useful. We obviously had to choose one person only out of the two of us to go and do the
food shop. We decided that it was best that Lucy does it, because firstly, she does most
of the cooking. Okay, all the cooking. So she could give me a list, and I could go and
do the food shop. I might be better to carry it. But also, don't forget, she's strong.
She's really, really strong. She's almost as strong as me. She works out, and she's
the one who knows exactly what she wants to buy. She can see if they don't have something
in stock. She has in her mind what else she can buy. If she sees things along the way
during the shop, she can buy them, because she knows what meal she's going to be making.
She has ideas for the food. So we did make the joint decision that it would be Lucy who
did the food shop. Meanwhile, I gave this place a little tidy up. We've actually been
uploading on the other channels. So Lucy put on the other day on the Lucy Vlog. I'm going
to give myself a little shout out here for all our other channels, if some of you guys
don't know. We've got the Lucy Vlog, Lucy's own personal channel. She put on there the
other day a reaction to her old pageant days. Now, Lucy came third in Miss Brighton, which
was a competition in our hometown years ago. She's got all the dresses, bikinis, loads
of makeup. She looks so different. Hair done, eyelashes, everything. And she kind of sat
down and rewatched that video with her subscribers over on her channel. So if you're not subscribed
over there, head over and do that. I just uploaded a more George video this morning,
which is my channel, but I tried to give really like in-depth answers and just sit down and
be really, really chilled and laid back with it. Some of the questions were quite personal
to me. So if you're interested in that, head over to more George. And then we also filmed
three or four reaction videos the other day, and I've just edited the final one now. And I'm
going to put that live in a minute. So if you're into reaction videos, we've got Juicy Reacts,
nearly 20,000 subscribers on that channel. So if you're into that, the link for all these three
channels are in the description of this video. I need to get up because I feel like I've been
bent over a little bit for too long. But yeah, I just wanted to let you guys know that there is
extra content around these vlogs going on at the moment. If you're stuck indoors,
if you're looking for stuff to watch on YouTube, you might like some of the other videos we're
making. We do not want copyright claims around here. Thank you very much. I've just had my little
balcony time for the day and I come back in and I'm greeted with the most delicious smell
in the world with Lucy cooking up. Can I show them? Yeah. Oh, nice. Lucy has made some pork
meatballs. They're homemade. Homemade, delicious. I've never made meatballs, but I want to make
like this with like a sauce and stuff. So we're going to make a sauce as well. And pasta. Oh,
is this what you picked up? Yeah. A little pasta sauce. And then I'm going to make the sauce a bit
better with other stuff in. And I made 12 meatballs from hand with egg, breadcrumbs, garlic, onion,
and pork. Oh my God. And then I put six in the freezer so that they can stay in the meatball
shape and we can have them another time. Nice idea. So we've got frozen meatballs as well.
Sounds good. So just finding a new angle to sit. Never sat here before. This evening,
it is Sunday and we did kind of say that we might do a little Sunday acoustic session
on the balcony, but that might have to be postponed until maybe tomorrow or something.
We might still do it. Depends on like if we have enough daylight, but. Yeah, I kind of spent way
longer in the shop than I thought. Yeah, Lucy was gone for a while. And the plan for later is to do
something fun that we need to do before. Yeah. It's Easter Sunday today. So we kind of in bed
this morning, we were looking for ideas on something to do or something to make food,
of course, that was Easter-y, Easter themed. So Lucy has picked something up from the shop. She
hasn't told me yet. So I don't know what she's got planned. We also don't have an oven. As you guys
may or may not know, all our meals are cooked on the countertop stove hob thing. So we were looking
for like no bake recipes. So I don't know what Lucy's picked up, but I'll find out. I'm sure
it's going to be delicious. So we want to do something Easter. Happy Easter to everyone,
by the way. You're probably watching this the day after Easter. This goes online tomorrow for us.
So I hope you had a good Easter. I hope you FaceTimed your families. Hope you did something
Easter themed. Our little niece Thea in the UK, Lucy's sister did a Easter egg hunt in the garden
for her. Put the clip in here. So cute. North, south, east, west. Off we go on a quest. North,
south, east, west. I don't know if that's the same in every country, but in the UK,
it's definitely tradition. We both did it as kids anyway, growing up for our parents to like,
sorry, not our parents, the Easter bunny to hide Easter eggs all around the house and the garden.
And then you can have like a little Easter egg hunt. That was always a highlight. And it'd always
be a nice Sunday roast as well, wouldn't it? Nice roast dinner. No, not for me. Are you serious?
Yeah, roast dinner on Easter. What? Did you not have that? No. I bet you did. No, we actually
often had fish and chips or a takeaway because my cousins always used to come around for Easter
from my memory. I think they did. And my dad would like take us all out on the seafront.
My mum would be home to let the Easter bunny in. And then we'd like bring fish and chips home or
something. So Easter's really, really nice family time. I know it's different this year. I know it's
very, very different this year. A lot of people can't be with their families, but if you have
stayed away, if you haven't gone around other people's houses and stuff, well done because
that's what we all need to do in this time. So good, good job if you're sticking to the rules.
Luce, it's time for a beer. Oh, nice. What do you want wine? I'm in the mood for wine.
I'm in the mood for, I'll have a beer and I'll pour you a wine.
We don't have to have the same. No, I might have the same. I'm having a beer. Definitely. Yeah,
because I feel it like cold, crisp Easter beer. There it is. All right, Easter beer.
I don't know why I pretend I need an excuse.
It's me again. I've plaited my hair again whilst it's dry. So it does that crinkly thing
and I'm wearing my dressing gown. So we're feeling Sunday-y. We're chilled. We're chilled.
So I've decided to make, take a recipe and make it Easter-y. So it's not like an Easter recipe.
It's no bake brownies. I don't have a sieve. I don't have a tin and I don't have an oven.
So I'm kind of mixing it up as I go along. I'm going to put it into here because I don't have
a tin and hope that it kind of, maybe I'll line it with some butter just to make it
lift off a ball. But I do think unfortunately, George, they need to be refrigerated overnight.
So I'm not doing this again. And I'm going to try and make it now, but also kind of cooking
at the same time. Just so we can get them in the fridge. Cool. So I didn't even know
Cadbury's did this. Me neither. Well, we've got some Cadbury baking chocolate. And then like
things to top them with and milk, cocoa powder. These are my favourite. These are also really
good. I was thinking about Milky Bar the other day. Classic. Now, as a kid, I loved just the
Milky Bar, just the white chocolate Milky Bar. Something about that taste. Did you have that?
I prefer the egg. So nice. I just thought I can't really do this yet because I need to use,
the whole process is heating it up on the hob and I need to use this hob to put this pasta on.
Okay. Well, let's just have dinner first. Because it overnight anyway, it doesn't make
any difference. So we'll have to check back on this anyway in tomorrow's vlog. Yeah.
Cool. So I'll cook it later. We'll have dinner, cook it.
Then that's it. Dream. Happy Easter. Here we go, guys. This looks delicious. There we go.
And then the next Marvel film for us. Oh, we're going to do some Easter baking because obviously
it's Easter. After that, the next Marvel film for us is Spider-Man. What was it? What's the name?
Spider-Man Homecoming, which I can't remember if I've seen it or not. So we'll let you know how
that is as well, but we probably won't because we'll probably fall asleep or watch half of it
and then go to bed. You know what it's like, guys. Anyway, need to eat dinner. So catch you in a
Now having a little glass of red wine. That's also very good. Yesterday's vlog,
we spoke about having a baby at great length and depth. Just reading some comments on that blog.
Thank you very much if you did comment. That was kind of the first, I think it was the first time
Lucy and I have spoke so openly about so many different things in one video. We do speak
openly about stuff, but we put a load of things down in one video and just spoke very honestly
and open about them. One comment on that video said, I would love to see what your future kid
looks like with you and Lucy. I wonder if there's an app for that. And then someone has literally
just sent me an app for that. So you put a photo of me in and the photo of Lucy in, and it shows
you what your, oh my God, it shows you what your baby's going to look like at age one, then at age
10. And then if you pay for the pro version aged 18. So are you up for this? Yeah. Okay. So I'm
going to do a boy first. I haven't got any bowls to mix with it. Yeah. So I need to take a photo
of myself first, like proper straight selfie, if you know what I mean, almost like a passport photo.
Do you remember that app years ago where everyone was putting their photos in and
there was some conspiracy, like great. Now that app has all your details and a photo of your face.
Wasn't that face baby face swap or something. Okay. Okay. My selfie is in, I'm doing some like
weird smile. Do you think this is going to be a really bad app and like the baby's going to
have a beard? It looks like an average app. Okay. I need a selfie of you. Yeah. Just literally a
straight selfie. Okay. So I've got two photos of us now. So let's go in. Oh, what's it going to
look like? What if it, we should screenshot it. And then if we actually have a kid, yeah,
this is what they thought you would look like. What I pressed. I just pressed that. Oh my God.
It's like cutting out our faces. It's just so weird. We use photos from Instagram in the end.
Okay. Oh wow. That's so cool. Oh my God. This is kind of freaky, man.
That's loose. I don't know. Something like happened inside of me when I looked at that.
Let me see. Okay. Let me get your reaction on camera. Look at this dude. Is it a boy?
It's a boy. I want to, I can probably put it on girl. That's so weird. That looks like both of us.
You can tell that's our kid. Oh, so cute. What should we call him? He looks like the beginning
of a T. T-Rex. T-Rex. All right, cool. Okay. So I can also do boy, 10 years old. Oh my goodness.
It's going to scan our faces. So weird. Wait for it. Oh, classic. An ad. All right.
Fair enough. That's so weird. Oh my God. That is so crazy. Okay. Let's do a girl.
10 year old girl. Oh, that is so weird. Yeah. Can you do a baby girl? I don't think so. For some
reason. Do you like your baby? Not really. What's that? I can pay for the, should I buy the app?
Should I see how much it is? Oh, that was just a generic baby. Yeah.
Difference doesn't mean anything bad. It just means that you're special.
Difference doesn't mean anything bad.
It just means that you're special.
You're one of a kind. One of a kind. One of a kind.
