start you know built a wall
to separate west berlin and east berlin
and that wall
was 90 miles
around
west berlin
and east berlin
that wall stood
for 28 years until 1980
when uh
when the wall fell
so

looking at this because this is three
pieces of the berlin wall that's right

in the 1990s
germany
to thank america
for helping uh
dissolve the soviet union and the berlin
wall they sent out
pieces of the berlin wall
to different american cities
and portland maine was one of them
so here you go
