i was like [Music] okay today i'm in a town called fort smith in new hampshire and i thought actually really needed it so i started out at a restaurant i'm starting out with a beer called polygash very new england and burger fries my very first meal of the day so i couldn't wait but after my meal and my beer i'm going to take a tour of the town of portsmouth and show you a little a little what they have to offer i hope you enjoy till then oh that was tasty that was an 18 burger and i got some special truffle fries so that might be it might cost me around 20 for that burger and then for the allagash thank you inflation just last year that burger would have been like 14 you know what's another what was i gonna do with that four dollars i don't know [Music] oh thank you very much [Music] oh super nice right what's the damage here so i have one burger plus the truffle fries the tax the total is 39.06 it's not including the tech so i typically tip 20 percent here in the states so i'll trip another tip eight dollars so that's a forty seven dollar lunch one beer and two one beer and two beers two beers right okay i have to apologize i didn't my my stick that i put my iphone on actually the battery died on it so now i'm holding my iphone by by my hand so i apologize if it's a little shaky don't have a stabilizer but i think it's all right so now walking outside the restaurant that i was in or i was on the terrace actually now we're walking there's like a row of restaurants along the water [Music] and we're just walking by all the restaurants that are on the water right now and then fastly approaching the main street downtown area but i thought i'd show you this just to give you an idea where i was at it's beautiful weather today is probably around 80 but it's overcast and it's not too humid you know so it's actually really comfortable so that's why i was able to go out go out on the uh on the terrace with no hat on because there's a slight breeze as well so it's not it's not too hot it's actually perfect so um walk over here a restaurant called the striker actually i've been in there a few times they have good food so we're going up the stairs here and boom we're downtown we're in the central part of of the city where everybody's at all the shops all the restaurants all the cafes all the touristy shops the boutiques there you go boutique you want to buy flowers there you go there's another boutique women's clothing a gallery if you want some jewelry boom there you go another gallery called a kennedy gallery if you want her you want a coffee there you go cup of joe there's a coffee bar little row kitchen specializes in kitchenware it's a popular uh new england shop called the black dog so i'm sure the uh the founder had a beautiful black lab he's still in there i think that he or she adored and decided to start a shop called black dog books and toys footwear not your normal footwear another jewelry store tuscan market this actually is brand new this used to be a cafe but i noticed uh tuscan tuscan market they're actually really big in new england so there's one in salem new hampshire and uh there's one in actually the seaport of boston so they're actually growing uh it's a nice restaurant actually okay let's go across the street take a look on the other side of the street [Music] another jewelry store big business here in uh portsmouth a restaurant called durbar square looks like it's indian indian restaurant it is they have a salon and spa called solari very nice and then a place called wigglesworth merchant percentile of course every town has to have a cigar bar there you go slow barn lounge i'm not a smoker so it doesn't really entice me i don't even like the smell of cigars cloud9 vapor vaping's real popular lately you want to get your uh your palm read 30 for walk-ins looks like uh what that is it's clothing store yep clothing store then of course you have uh portsmouth brewery which is very very popular usually uh waiting line only today's not too busy though let's let's go in and just take a look at the inside [Applause] [Music] [Applause] [Music] oh nice [Music] [Applause] [Music] oh i love dogs it's very nice of people to put out a bowl of water because they know dogs are very thirsty out in this heat yeah another dog what's up buddy so we're coming up on a uh called the gaslight pub and uh if anyone who knows me they know that i love dogs i have a i have a dog named obi and uh i actually took him here about two years ago maybe maybe close to three years ago now it's very dog friendly and uh as you can see there's yeah outside terrace there's a dog right there beautiful and they have a live van very new england [Music] okay that concludes my video of portsmouth i i really hope you enjoyed it uh just so you know i plan on making uh you know maybe one or two a week uh of every town uh in new england that covers maine new hampshire massachusetts so it should keep you busy
