Before this vlog probably starts,
>> can we just address
>> our outfits and the contrast from the
last vlog?
>> Oh, I know.
>> It was sunny. We're in t-shirts and
shorts. We're now in like full trousers.
>> I think we've just No, I think it's I
think it's hot and we're going to regret
it and we're going to get all stressed.
>> No, I think this is the end of British
summer.
>> Really?
>> I think it's the end. I think that's it.
I think we're going into autumn.
>> I think you're being dramatic. I think
today it's it's 19 still. Feels like 16.
That's good for jumper.
We're in layers, loose. We're in warm,
fluffy layers. Do
>> you know what? I think I'm actually
going to put my heated seat on today.
Just maybe on one. When people moan
about the British weather, this is what
they're talking about. How quickly it
changes from warm to cold.
>> Is that why?
>> Like the day after.
>> Is that why?
>> That is why, mate. Secret confession. We
don't mind it too much. We're almost
kind of looking forward to Christmas at
this point, but that's that's another
story.
[Music]
Remy has fallen asleep on that drive.
Look at him.
[Music]
Now, I don't know if this is a boy thing
or it's every child this age. I mean,
let me know in the comments if you've
got a boy and you feel the same way. If
you've got a girl, and it is a girl
thing as well, but I swear this boy has
so much energy that if we're not out of
the house for like 90% of the day,
running around, climbing, jumping, he's
just in such a better mood when he's
outside. Uh, not that he's he does enjoy
being home and he does love playing with
his toys and stuff, and he he's great at
playing on his own at the moment, like
making little setups and stuff, but we
just need to give him that time and
space to climb and jump and run because
he just thrives doing that kind of
stuff. So basically how our days look at
the moment are a lot of running around
and for some reason he doesn't even nap
in the day. Uh he sleeps quite early but
he wakes up quite early. He just he can
just go non-stop. It's honestly insane
his energy levels.
[Applause]
Remy's got the right idea. He's more
than happily having a little nap. I'm
actually wearing the same as him today.
I've just realized it's like a waffly
sleepsuit. We got these from M&S. It was
£15 for three, which I thought was
really good value. They're zip up as
well, which is a must do cuz I cannot be
dealing with poppers anymore. And I'm
also in a waffly creamy number. And I'm
not too hot actually. It's still very
gray.
[Music]
>> Yeah. Where's umbrella?
>> Underneath the buggy, darling. Don't
worry. But it's not sunny today, so
we're fine.
[Music]
Oh, I see.
>> Look, these ones, right? If you face
this way, you can swing on these, can't
you? So, this is Kod's new favorite
place on Earth. It's like this outdoor
gym. Nothing really for kids or to do
with kids, but he just loves climbing,
going on the monkey bars with my help,
swinging on these ropes and like
climbing all the bars and hanging and
swinging and stuff like that. And we
call this the Buzz Park because he plays
a game on the PlayStation 5, Buzz
Lightyear. And Buzz swings on all swings
on things and jumps off things. And he's
like, "It's like Buzz Lightyear." So we
just named it the Buzz Park. I quite
like it, too, cuz I can like get some
pull-ups in and stuff, keep fit whilst
keeping three and a halfyear-old
entertained.
[Music]
Also,
this time a year ago, I couldn't do a
single pull-up. So, they have come along
and do like six or seven now. The goal
is 10. So, yes, welcome back to another
vlog. Hope you guys are all doing really
well. Camera's going to fall. No, it's
not. Again, balancing the camera on some
stupid things. It is Monday morning for
us and we wanted to get out early this
morning even though the weather
>> Yeah, we did, didn't we?
>> We did, didn't we? The weather has got
colder.
[Music]
>> But a quick thank you to everyone who
watched the previous vlog on the
channel.
>> We are loving picking the camera up
again more and filming these family
days, just these family vlogs of what
we're up to.
and Lucy and I were chatting yesterday
and we're just both feeling so grateful
that you guys are here and you watch the
videos and you comment and you message
us and you interact even when we're not
on these crazy trips. We're just at home
and living our family life with Remy
who's now 3 months, Koda who's 3 and a
half. So many of you actually came to
that vlog. Look at you, mate. Woohoo. So
many of you actually commented on that
vlog saying you hadn't watched our
videos for a while or even seen vlogs
with Remy in them. So, if that's you and
you maybe haven't visited the channel
for a little while, thanks so much for
coming back.
>> Like this.
>> Like that. That's cool. I'm gonna sit on
this one, which just spins around and
around. Whoa. We also saw some comments
that people said that it's so nice to
see our videos popping up more
frequently again. So, another thank you.
And yeah, we have
>> Hold on.
>> Okay.
>> Go like this. Look.
>> Wa. You can do it yourself.
>> Yeah.
>> Cool.
>> Woohoo. And yeah, we have definitely
been
>> Look at me. Mommy,
>> look.
>> Look at me. Mommy.
>> Woohoo. And yeah, we have definitely
been picking the camera up a lot more
recently after intentionally taking some
time off. Um, a break away from filming
videos, a break away from work in
general, a break away from YouTube a
little bit. And that was something we
had to do. That was something that we
wanted to do. We purposely chose to do
this time round. As in when Remy was
born, because when Kod was born, he was
born after like the most crazy year of
our lives. the end of lockdown when we
were still in the Philippines coming
back to the UK for the first time in
years. We'd bought an apartment whilst
we were out there without even seeing it
and that was the place we were going to
move into. At first we bought that as an
investment when Lucy was pregnant. We
decided we'll come back to the UK. We
decided that well we own this apartment.
We're just going to move in there which
actually was just down there. No, it
wasn't.
>> Look at me. Yeah, it was. It was just
over there in one of those side roads,
but down in this kind of beach area.
>> Look at you, mate.
>> Are you loving that one?
>> Yeah.
>> Did you do that when you were like three
and a half?
>> Um, yeah, probably did.
>> You did?
>> Yeah.
>> Did you go there before?
>> Well, this wasn't here when I was a kid.
All this was just grass. They've put all
this in.
>> That's a spot of luck, isn't it?
>> Very lucky. But they're just grass.
>> Just grass when I was a boy. Yeah.
>> Yeah. Also, did you run around a house?
>> I run around on the grass. Yeah.
>> Yeah.
>> Cuz I also grew up in a road down there
when I was your age. Actually, a little
bit older. Yeah. This is the area I grew
up in.
>> No, I moved here when I was
I think eight.
>> Oh,
>> yeah. I lived in a different part of
town. Then I moved down here to the
seafront.
>> This is literally where I grew up. This
area around here is my childhood.
>> Oh yeah, you are. So yeah, when Koda was
born, we were still in that um we were
kind of on the back end of daily
vlogging. So we were I think uploading
more frequently.
>> When you did you like like do like do
like this when I was there.
>> Wa.
Very cool, mate. So, like looking back
on the channel, when Kod was born, we
were filming a ton of videos and we
never really took that break, so that
time off, which equally was a choice at
that time. But now having the two of
them, how much time parenting takes up,
also how quickly the time goes, because
Remy is now 3 months already, and that's
just flown by. And we've basically been
taking the opportunity and made the
conscious decision to take that break
when he was born to just enjoy family
time, go for nice days out, spend time
as a four, get to know Remy as a baby
and his personality which is just coming
through now. But now I would say we're
very much in a place where we're like,
we don't want to not film for too long.
And there have been vlogs popping up
here and there as you guys have
hopefully seen, but we don't want to not
film too much. We want to get the
balance just right basically because we
love watching these vlogs back and to
document the kind of growing up of Koda
and Remy together is just so special and
to have it on the channel. For example,
moments like this.
>> Can I go back on there?
>> On the top
is just so affectionate with his
brother. He just loves him to people.
Remy equally gives that back. He laughs.
She giggles at Koda. Okay, Lucy's just
handed me a fairly warm nappy. So,
that's lovely. Delights delights of the
job. And yeah, from the sounds of the
comments of the last video. You guys
quite enjoyed just coming along with us
for a day, watching our kind of family
life, what we're in at the moment. A
little example, which I didn't film,
that's happened already today. When we
went to that coffee shop, I realized I
had not put any parking on the car. Had
to sprint back to the car. Luckily,
didn't get a ticket. put 2 hours parking
on the car, came back, my coffee was
there waiting for me, but then something
awkward happened. And tell me, tell me
if this would make you feel awkward. So,
I always ask for my coffee not too hot
because I hate it when you have like the
first sip, burns your tongue, can't
taste anything for the rest of the day.
So, I always really politely,
>> that's a cool noise, man. I always
really politely request that my coffee
is not too hot in coffee shops. And if
it's done like the first time, great,
perfect, move on. But today they made it
very very hot and I had one sip, burnt
my tongue and then very politely
requested that it was made again. And I
hate doing that. I really hate doing
that because you just sound like a very
fussy
customer. You may come across
pretentious. I don't know. I just need
to have my coffee at that certain
temperature. Even saying that out loud
sounds pretentious. I promise it's not.
I just don't particularly enjoy burning
my tongue. Where do you sit? Just just a
little comment like we used to do on the
vlogs all the time. a little comment
your opinion on that small debate whilst
you're watching the vlog. Where do you
stand? Is that like is that totally
fine? Would you do the same? Or are you
someone in a restaurant if the food's
not good? And they come over and say,
"How's the food?" And you're like, "Oh
yes, lovely. Thank you very much. Really
nice." Or do you tell them? We decided
to have some breakfast at this place,
Perch, which was built a little while
ago. We haven't been in yet. It used to
be a pizza place, but now they do kind
of brunch and stuff.
>> Yeah. You want to sit inside?
>> Outside looks quite nice, guys. This
way, darling. The doors are on the other
side.
>> Does look quite nice. Kind of reminds me
of a place we went in Dubai. Cannot
remember the name, but it all was this
kind of design and stuff.
>> Okay. So, it's one of those sort of
order on the phone and it comes due to
pay now. So, they don't the only kids
stuff they do is like toast or like a
fry up. But, Kod really wanted pancakes.
We're having to order him an adult
portion of pancakes. So, we might end up
sharing them. Um, George is getting the
eggs and avocado bacon and I'm getting a
bacon bath.
>> You want that? Sausage and toast. I
might like that.
>> You want that instead? Maybe do some
toast.
>> Okay, we'll do that.
>> Yeah, you want that instead. Yeah.
>> Pancakes. Yeah. Like
>> sausage, bacon, toast, orange juice, all
that.
>> Okay, we'll do that instead. Yeah.
>> Kids breakfast.
>> But I don't want eggs.
>> Okay. Well, daddy will eat your egg.
>> I'll have the egg.
>> Look, he's taller. He's taller than
daddy. Wow.
having done arm wrestle.
>> Find another one.
>> So, the one you had.
>> No.
>> No. It ripped.
>> Oh, let's leave it.
>> Let's do some more stickers.
>> It rips a little bit.
>> It's not good.
>> Oh, sorry.
>> Mine's arrived. So, I've got some egg,
bacon, hash brown, cheese, and spinach.
>> Got a little kids breakfast, and George
has got like an avocado bacon thing. And
Cody didn't want his egg, so I got an
extra egg.
>> Perfect.
>> Yummy.
>> Okay, back in the car. We made it.
Such a palava, but we did it. We're
getting It's getting easier,
>> I think. What did you say about getting
easier? When's that?
>> When's that happening?
>> What do you say?
>> Let's get out of here, shall we?
>> Um, when we get home, I've got something
fun. I want to set up with Kod. I want
him to paint us a picture that we're
going to hang above our bed up here.
>> There's something. I hope he comes up
with some like incredible artwork
because whatever it is, it's going in
our room now for good
>> and I've just committed to it. We're
just gonna do it. So hopefully he's in a
good head space to like paint something
beautiful and not just like make a brown
mush on a canvas.
>> But if it ends up being brown mush,
still going to be beautiful
>> cuz he made it.
>> Cuz he made it and it's going up on our
bed, whatever happens. So we're going to
use that as like a bowl to put it in. So
I'll do it for you. Hang, let me open it
first. There's actually two
[Music]
circles and anything you like on it.
Okay.
[Music]
>> Yeah, you can do that.
>> Yeah. Dip it in a bit more paint and
then it will be a better color cuz you
got two to do.
One line there and then one line the
other way. But it doesn't matter how you
do it.
[Music]
>> Okay. That's really cool.
>> It's like a snake.
>> It's like a snake. Wow. I love it.
[Music]
Okay. This has become hand painting now.
So, we're just going with it. We're
going with the flow. Oh, okay. Yeah.
Perfect. And not my phone. Lovely. No.
Thank you.
>> What do you think of our art? Oh, okay.
Okay, we're painting the grass. Co, what
do you think, mate?
>> They're actually very cool. I'm very
pleased with these. So, these are the
finished masterpieces. I actually really
like them. Pretty abstract. We got some
different shapes going on here. But, um,
if they dry today and I can put them up
in this video, I will. If not, I will
put a picture in of it on the wall once
they're finished if we're not filming by
the time they're on the actual wall.
But, look at this. We got some swirly
things. Got some lumps of paint. I love
it. Good job, codes. Okay, a little bit
later now and we are home. Myself, Lucy,
and Remy are home. Koda has gone off to
Lucy's mom's and in the middle of that,
I just had a little appointment which I
will talk about. I said I was going to
talk about a few things in an upcoming
vlog and I need to make coffee so that
might as well be now. Over the last year
or two, I would say where's my coffee?
Here it is. Going to use this coffee. I
picked this up at Brighton Coffee
Festival that Luc and I went to was it
two weekends ago? If you live near or
around Brighton, by the way, next year,
obviously, it's been and gone now, but
if you love coffee, or even if you are
not necessarily into coffee, but you
just love coffee and like trying
different coffees, come along to
Brighton Coffee Festival. It is such a
good day, and we're still getting
through the beans that we bought from
that. Anyway, yeah, over the last 2
years, I would say that I have been on a
bit of a health and wellness, fitness
journey that has taken ups and downs.
>> Can you hear this? You could just say
it.
>> Lucy said that I've said that a million
times. I probably have. Yeah. I would
say for the last two or three years,
I've been very health consscious, but
right now more than ever, I'm locked
into a specific goal and I've actually
worked out what I need to do to get to
that specific goal scientifically, and
I'm sticking to it harder than ever.
That's slightly related to what I'm
talking about, but I guess I've been in
a kind of self-improvement kind of zone
for a couple of years.
Wow.
>> Lucy's laughing at all the phrases that
I'm choosing to use. If you remembered,
we both had our teeth straightened and
whitened
at Love Teeth a couple of years back.
I changed the way I was eating cuz I was
having like tummy aches all the time and
indigestion issues. That all that's all
gone cuz I've changed the way that I've
been eating. My strength is the highest
it's ever been in the gym right now. My
body fat is the lowest it's ever been.
I'll put in a little comparison picture
here quickly. The progress I've been
doing, I'm really feeling good. I'm
really locked in on it. And part of this
whole general well-being, I've been
focusing on sleep, trying to with kids,
been focusing on stress again, trying to
with our busy lives. Certain
supplements. I recently did a
testosterone test and I'm going to do
like some other blood tests that you can
send off or just to get a picture of
your body and your health. Sounds like
I'm about to go into some sponsored
section. On this occasion, I'm not. But
yeah, part of that um for me personally,
just a very much my own thing was
getting some of my moles removed. And it
turned out a lot of them were not moles,
they were warts. So I've been covered in
warts my whole life apparently. Great.
And you may have noticed, I don't know,
I mean I used to have like two there,
one on my shoulder there, couple on my
chest, big one on the side of my head,
um and another few which about 6 months
ago I got completely removed. And I am
just so happy with the look. But it's
just a personal thing. It's purely
cosmetic. They weren't dangerous. They
weren't in any way bad. Got them all
properly checked out prior to having
them removed. But for me, it was just a
decision I made that made me feel good,
made me feel better about myself. That
ties in with all the kind of
self-improvement stuff that I'm doing.
So, that is where I was. I was at my
final mole removal appointment. I won't
show you too close up, but you might see
like this one's a little bit red. This
was the the final. This used to be huge
on the side of my head. It's now
completely flat. It was just a tiny bit
left. So hopefully in a week or so it's
just going to be completely gone. And I
also won't show you too closely, but you
can probably see a red patch on my
chest.
The final two there. And then everything
I wanted removed has gone.
[Music]
I'm also now going to make up one of my
go-to meals at the moment, which is
Greek yogurt. using this one at the
moment. 2%. We usually use a 5% cuz it's
way tastier when the fat's higher. And
we don't fear fat. I'm not a
nutritionologist, but from everything
I've done my own research on, certain
fat and a certain amount of fat is good
for you. I never ever buy lowfat stuff.
By the way, I was joking. I know it's
not a nutritionologist. I know it's a
neutrologist. Don't worry. I'm bound to
get comments saying, "George, it's not a
nutritionologist. It's a neutrologist."
Now, I'm going to get comments people
thinking I'm serious about that as well.
banana. This is Oh dear, we got a shop
about to arrive. This is the last
banana, but I never ever waste food. So,
we are having the brown spotty banana.
Oh, I've messed up. What I'm supposed to
do is mix in a few things in this yogurt
before I add stuff to it because my
brain is my brain. I'm not
concentrating.
So, I've been having a scoop of creatin
every single day. 5 g a day or 3 g. Is
it three? 5 g.
I think they say 3 to 5 g a day. This
helps with strength in the gym and some
other things that you can Google. Again,
I'm not a nutrition file. Then I found
this whey protein. I I generally don't
like whey protein too much because of
all the other ingredients that a lot of
products have. However, this is a very
clean one. Not sponsored. Just found on
Amazon. That is the brand.
So, I've been having a scoop of that in
my Greek yogurt as well.
And this is like a healthy meal that
tastes incredible. It essentially ends
up tasting like dessert. That's all
mixed together. I then add just realized
I've been speaking this whole time and
you can't actually see what I'm doing. I
add a handful of frozen berries. Oh,
that's hardly worth putting back. Just
finish that off. And then a very small
drizzle of maple syrup. Obviously, this
has sugars, but it is pure maple syrup
that literally comes from a tree. Little
bit of that. And that with my coffee
makes my second meal of the day.
Okay, it's now the next day and I've
just picked my phone up. I don't even
know where the vlogging camera is. We've
had the busiest day ever. I don't know
what it is at the moment, but we are
incredibly busy. So, on this channel, on
the car channel, family stuff, planning
things. We've got loads of trips coming
up um in the next couple of months, and
there's just so much to arrange. We're
working with loads of really cool
brands. We're off to Bryson tomorrow to
film with a brand for my Instagram. It
feels really busy, which is a great
thing in our sort of line of work. It's
a good thing to be busy, but I'm feeling
burnout creeping in. I'm not going to
lie. I'm feeling like my heart's a
little bit my heart rate's a bit up. I'm
feeling a little bit stressed. We were
just saying maybe we book a few days off
soon and like block them out in the
diary and just not make any plans. I
think we do all need that as a family as
soon as possible. But I really can't
complain cuz it's all good stuff. But I
wanted to show you, I don't know if I
actually mentioned it yesterday, the
final pieces of art here. We're going to
pop them up above our bed. I think
they're really cool. like a bit bit
random, bit abstract, but it's come from
our little boy. So, very special. Remy
is doing good today. Are you Remy?
Are you happy?
Are you happy, boy?
>> Yeah, that's good. He's so long.
Honestly, it's like it's ridiculous how
long this boy is for his age.
>> And also a bit of a reality check. This
is how our lounge looks most of the
time. Toys everywhere.
Toys. Toys.
George's new walking pad. Trainers.
Washing line. I'm just doing a reality
check here, guys. Don't believe
everything you see online. Chalk. Upside
down paddling pool. Blue grass. More
toys. Weights. A random tile pool. And
honestly, don't believe everything you
see. nappy changing station on our nice
table stuff. Oh my goodness, this is a
joke. I need to sort this out. But
there's not time for it right now. So,
for now, I'm just letting go and
accepting the fact that there's more
important things in life right now than
mess. Oh god, it's really messy. I'm
overwhelmed.
So, yeah. Thank you so much for watching
today's video. I hope you enjoyed it.
Please give the video a thumbs up if you
enjoyed it today and subscribe if you're
new. subscribing. It seems like
something that every single person on
YouTube ever says. Although it doesn't
matter if you don't subscribe.
Obviously, it's up to you. It's totally
free and it just it helps us out. It it
tells YouTube that you enjoy watching
our content and hopefully it means it
gets seen by more people. Um because we
do find sometimes some videos for some
reason don't get shown to as many
people, but then other videos it's a bit
random. The whole algorithm, it's very
confusing. But yeah, things like thumbs
up and subscribing really helps us out.
So, if you don't mind, that would be
absolutely amazing. And yeah, we'll see
you very soon in the next Juicy Vlog.
So, goodbye from us and we'll see you
very soon in the next Juicy Vlog. Juicy
vlog. Juicy vlog. How do I normally say
that? Thanks for watching and we'll see
you very soon in the next day. Oh, you
say Daily Juice. That's what I'm
thinking. Daily juice. How on earth do
we ever have time to film every video of
our lives and edit them?
Can't imagine myself daily vlogging
again anytime soon. Anyway, never say
never. Thanks for watching and we'll see
you next time. Goodbye.
