Good morning again for some of you. Good morning
Amy, Candace, Nazzy. Hello, hello. Good to have you guys.
We're starting just a bit earlier than last week. We needed that little five
minute break but 10 minutes is too long so welcome.
Good to have you. Hi again Mary. This is 10 10 10. Now if you are like
what does that mean? Like Addy. She's like what is this class?
It's technically 10 minutes of core strength and cardio if you bring it
down. Okay I've been playing with the
formatting and having fun. Hi Ian, welcome back.
And we haven't stuck on one particular type of format but it's just fun to
get creative right? So but we plan on working hard.
Plan on it being fast and furious because it is only
30 minutes. It's a great get it done kind of class okay
if you don't have a lot of time. All right you guys all you need
are weights and a mat. That is it. Yeah let's get a little bit warm for
those who have not done a class yet. Really quick two minute warm-up.
Okay squat it out. Good. Hug the knee.
Buck kicks.
Tab it out. Lunge it. Big open. Last one here.
Scoop it. Nice and wide. Side to side.
Groove. Take your nazi. Other side. Walking forward.
Sushi for stretch. Really great one for the hips as well.
Right Ian? Squat sides. By the way next week starting Monday
I'm gonna try it out and see how it goes. Mount climbers.
30 minute push-ups. Just kidding not 30 minute push-ups.
30 minute balance vaults. Right after our meditation
move that into it. Walk it back.
Bend and straighten. Starting next week after meditation I think that should be
7.45 ish for 30 minutes. So 7.45 to 8.15.
Gonna make it bigger. Okay a little faster.
Dynamic work coming. Jacks.
Buck kicks again. A little faster this time.
Squat jumps. Squat jacks. Two. Nice and warm now right?
So for our cardio we're going to start out with
our cardio. Get it done okay? We have
man I can't breathe today. Interval wind-ups. What that means is we got 40
seconds of work. 30 seconds and 20 seconds okay?
So and we're adding on. We're decreasing the time but we're adding on
progressing the move. You can keep it at the
main move that we start with the whole time. It's up to you.
Okay we got 40 seconds of a lunge jump. If you don't want to jump just tap it
back. Ready set let's go.
Let's go. Let's go. Good. Good job. Good job.
10 seconds.
Three. Two. One. We're adding on. Squat.
Lunge. Lunge. Squat. Lunge. Lunge. Squat. Kind of like what we did in last class.
Deeper though okay? Ready? 30 seconds. Let's go. Little pauses
at that. Squat. Oh and freaking G.
Three. Two. One. Okay. Double hop.
Squat jump. Quarter turn. So it's kind of
kind of combining them. Definitely taking it up a notch.
Only 20 seconds. Okay. Double hop. Squat jump. Quarter turn.
Double hop. Squat jump. Quarter turn. Okay.
Back and forth. Good. Ready? Let's go.
If you don't want to jump you can march instead.
Okay next set. Starting out with high knees.
Tell me what you want to do. 40 seconds high knees.
I'm not going to suck it off. Ready. Set. Let's go.
Come on. Come on. Come on. You don't want to jump it.
Slow it down.
You got it. Knees up. Knees up. Three. Two. One.
Football. I'm not going to cue you for this one. 30 seconds.
It's going to burn. You ready? If you don't want to
make it crazy, get tapping. Set. Let's go.
Come on legs. Yes you can. Yes you can. 10 seconds. Don't suck.
Let's get it on. Three. Two. One.
Four by four. More ankle taps. More laps.
You ready? Set. Let's go. Two. Three. Four.
One. Two. Three. Four. Yes you can.
Oh it's the Shakespeare. Three. Two. One. Thank god that's over.
Okay last set. Jump rope. Jump rope. I want it kind of medium pace
because we have speed rope next. High knee
combo. Okay. Ready? Fake jump rope. Keep those arms
lifted at the top. Ready? Pretend. Let's go.
As if you were jumping rope. Come on. There'll be a double hop right here.
Don't lock those knees out though. 10 seconds.
Good. Three. Two. One. Four by four coming. Three. Two. One. One. Two. Three. Four.
Whatever speed you want. I know this song is fast.
Listen to your body. Ready? Let's go. Come on.
Three. Two. One. Okay. Last one.
Double unders. You don't want to do double unders.
Really big knee claps. Okay. I mean. Okay. Spin your arms like you take
some effort. Ready? Set. 20 seconds. Let's go.
It's harder than it looks. Ready? Three. Two. One.
What the heck. You are welcome around. It's good to have you here.
Good to have all you here. Okay. Grab some water.
Quick break and we're moving on to strength.
That was no joke. Wow.
I gotta mix this playlist up, right? Are you guys sick of it yet?
So I usually split the order but it's been a couple weeks.
If you have any non-copyright songs requests
from Epidemic Sound, you can look them up
and listen to some of their music without signing up.
Oh. You're amazing. Strength work, baby. Strength work.
We gotta stir the pot. So what we're doing is
Matrix Plus. It's a P90X term. Okay.
We're adding on and we're going four counts.
Okay. Meaning four repetitions. Don't worry too much.
I'll walk you through it while we're doing it. Okay. We got 45 seconds.
We're going to go four by four. As many as you can and not 45.
Okay. Lateral lunge. Stir the pot. Grab your weight.
Okay. Two times to one side. Four times the other way.
Are you ready? 45 seconds. Back and forth. Let's go.
Extend those arms as you see fit. Other side.
So we're going to repeat that. So you'll go four and four
and then lunge. Punch it down and thrust the weight over the head.
If you want to grab two lighter weights, if that feels better
to you, go for it. Okay. And you're going to keep alternating
legs. Four times. I'll do it with you so don't
worry too much. You ready? Minute and a half. Let's go.
Four moves to the side. Just what we were doing.
Two. Three. Other side. Four.
Three. Two. One. Forward lunge. Punch it down.
Thrust it. Punch it down. Thrust it. Okay. Other side. Punch it down.
Thrust it. You want to keep it just that one arm.
Thrust it. Back two. Lunge and stir.
Yeah. Other side.
If you are bothered by this, lunge it back instead.
Yeah. Punch it down. Thrust it up. Punch it down. Thrust it up.
Lunges again. I'm going the other way to start.
Other way. Punch it down. Three.
Two. One. Oh my gosh. Okay. Adding on one more time.
Okay.
Okay. We're doing the exact same thing. This time it's 2 minutes 15 seconds.
Okay. And the last move we're adding on is a sumo squat curl.
Okay. Sound good? You all ready? Ladder lunge to begin.
Four counts each side. Let's go. Let's do it.
Four total. Lunge it forward. The rest is overhead.
And big sumo curl. Four of them. Back to the top.
Four counts. Other way.
Lunge and thrust.
Sumo. Make it boom boom. Come on.
Good. One more time. Get what you can. Four counts.
Make it boom boom boom. Other way.
That's right.
Thrust it. Other side. Sumo. Four counts.
To the top. Let's go.
Weekend. Lunge. Three. Two.
One. Take a break. Long break after that set.
But not too long. We got 10 minutes left, right?
How was that? That was awful, right?
Quite the combo. Grab your mats. We're going to finish out with some core
stretch guys. Get you out on your way.
Grab a towel. Grab your leg weights.
Have a seat. All right. OMG. Feeling it today.
Now, if you don't feel comfortable with the rolls,
that's okay. You don't have to do it. Love-hate relationship.
That was terrible. It was so hard. Matrix plus, baby.
Okay. I am pulling more P90X moves. You're welcome. Okay. Table top.
Okay. Weight is just adding that extra little something something. Not necessary.
Okay. Flex your feet so that weight doesn't drop, right?
Okay. Hands behind the head. Right here. Crunch it in. Little tiny
crunches. Keep your low back pressed against the mat.
Press it in with those knees. Crunch it up with that upper body without
head with those elbows. Nice and tight without getting on the
head. Position. Crush those legs in. Tap it in. Tap it in.
Without pulling on that neck. Okay. Keep it as neutral as you can.
legs just yet. Ready? Let's go.
Weight. What the heck, right? Okay. Last and final move.
Weights are in the hands. They're just going to be like literally pinning your
hands down. Okay. Find whatever's comfortable.
You may need to just have your fingers underneath the weights.
If it's too much for you. I should have got heavier weights.
Come on. Two. Good job. Hug those knees to the chest.
Excellent work. Good. Release and drive or let those arms drop
again over your head.
Really stretch. Feel like you're tapping. Maybe pull the opposite direction.
I'm feeling today, right? Already. A little roll onto your side. Get your
quads right here. So good.
Switch sides. Onto your belly. Get an up dog stretch.
So, so good. Walking hands to one side. Push those hips away. Get your legs
straight. Other side.
Good. Once again, if you want single or double, hands into the feet.
Feet into the hands, I should say.
Three, two, one. Release. Hands again underneath.
Feet in. Great job today. Walking hands back.
If you ever sit on that chest, lift as high as you can.
Switch feet. Good. Slowly release. Unwind the legs.
Take that arm across the chest. Hurts so good, right?
Thanks, Mary. Have a great day.
Yeah, Yolanda, I hear you. Other side. Get your triceps and I'm going to give you
the thought of the day. So, so good. So, so good.
Again, this week's theme is on courage and we are mixing. Today's thought is a
mix of last week's themes on learning from
mistakes and courage. Today, we say,
mistakes are always forgivable if one has the courage
to admit them. So good. I need to hear that.
You have to have courage to admit you're at fault
and that is okay. Making mistakes is not the problem.
Denying that you've made a mistake is the problem, right?
Thank you for being here. You did not make a mistake coming today.
Have a great rest of your Wednesday, your hump day.
Love you guys. Hopefully, I'll see you tomorrow for Triple Threat 630.
Bye!
