Hey everyone, we want to welcome you to today's podcast on Rayma C TV.
I'm your host, Don Boyer, and I'm Melinda Boyer, and we are so excited that you
joined us.
We're going to get into some deep dive subject today that I'm going to tell you
when you hear some of the topics that we're going to talk about, it's going to
change and revolutionize your life.
Wow.
I am excited about this program because it is really about the power of your
words.
Yeah.
And that's, that's so awesome.
You know, in 1979, that's a long time ago.
I read a book called hung by the tongue, right?
What a title hung by the tongue.
And it was written by Francis Martin.
It's so vital that we understand the importance of our words.
You know, one of the biggest lies that we've ever bought into is that childhood
rhyme sticks and stones may break my bones, but words will never hurt me.
What a bunch of bull is that, man, because words will kill you.
Yeah.
But at the same time, I think, I think I took that like words will never cure me.
So, you know, get out of my way.
I don't want to hear it.
You know, you're not going to talk to the hand.
Right.
So I think that encouraged me back then.
Right.
But until I really understood what words can do, not only to you mentally, but
physically.
Yeah.
Right.
It has been such an eye opening to me to understand that when you're thinking of
healing or you're not feeling well, or for instance, I burned my leg and I'm
looking for healing.
Right.
And you're going through pain because it is a burn.
Right.
You have the ability to say it's healed.
But your whole body and your mind play tricks on you to say, oh, look, it's
getting red.
It's infected.
You need to go to the doctor.
I better stay home from the gym today.
I better say, but I mean, it's pain, right?
Stop listening to your mind.
Right.
Stop listening to what your mind is telling you that your body is hurting.
Stop playing those words in your mouth to say, my head, my head is right.
You know, I don't want to do this, you know, throwing the balls on the wall, you
know, or, or my, my body, I don't know how much more I could take.
No.
If you're telling yourself, no, I'm strong and I'm going to get through this.
You will get through it.
Yeah.
Right.
By the words of our mouth.
Right.
You know, right.
When we look at Proverbs, it tells us that life and death is in the power of our
tongue or the power of our words are speaking that the words that are coming
out of our mouth, it also tells us in the Bible that God calls those things that
are not as though they are right now.
Here's where a lot of people get confused, where they think that that's saying that
we're denying that your leg is burned.
Right.
We're not denying that your leg was burned.
Right.
You got eyeballs.
You can see, man, there's a problem there on the leg, right?
We're not denying that the pain is there.
What we're saying is we're speaking words of life, of healing, right?
Of saying what we want, what we declare, what does God's word say?
God says by his stripes, we are healed.
So we are declaring that word of God.
We're agreeing with it.
We're not disagreeing with the fact that there's pain there.
Right.
What we are saying is that we are moving beyond the physical area of matter and
going beyond physical matter.
So when we talk about physical matter, we know the fact that Jesus said the words
that I'm speaking to you, their spirit and their life, right?
So God's word has resurrection power.
It has the ability to change physical matter in this dimension.
And when we did our movie beyond physical matter, and by the way, it's on Amazon
prime, you want to watch that as well?
Uh, physical matter, people get stuck there because they think that that's all
that there is.
Yeah.
But in reality, God's word transcends physical matter.
This is why when he said Lazarus that had been dead in the grave for a number of
days, his words, and he said, Lazarus come forth.
So it was his speaking that really brought God's power and change physical
matter.
But how do you help people to understand that those power of words that you speak
can heal yourself?
Well, here's again, everything that is happening to us has been brought about by
the words that we have been speaking.
And most people don't understand the dynamics of speaking properly, right?
Look at all the phrases that's going on.
You know, um, I'm so cold, I could die.
You know, that tickles me to death.
All these phrases that we would use as childhood.
We don't realize that what we're playing is with real creative power.
Yeah.
Right.
So the words begin to change physical matter.
You know, sometimes people will say, well, I've been saying I'm healed.
I'm healed.
But nothing's happening.
Yeah.
How long do you have to keep saying that?
My answer is as long as it takes.
If you're saying it, but are you believing it?
There you go.
So here we go back now to, we want to jump back into the word Rhema, right?
Do we believe it?
Because people think that believing or belief and faith are the same thing, but
they're not, okay.
We can believe something, but if we never act on that belief, nothing will happen.
I could believe that you're going to make a great dinner tonight, but if you never
act on it, my belief is that you ain't getting it, right?
So when you go back, faith is an action.
Right.
Faith is a spiritual law.
What was your question again?
Well, I, like I said, you have to believe that you're going to be healed.
You have to believe that you're going to receive something.
You have to believe that, but also take action on it.
But also I think there's another part too.
It's not just believing it or taking action on it.
You have to see it.
That's the whole meditation part of it, right?
Yeah.
The meditation, the imagination, right?
Right.
You've got to, you know, in, in, I believe it's in Philippians chapter two and verse
number not five, it says that have let this mind be in you.
That was in Christ Jesus.
Let this mind be in you.
So what kind of mind did Jesus display?
We know that he had the mind of God, his father, right?
We know that.
Okay.
So what kind of mindset did he have?
Well, his ministry started off in the very beginning when there was lack, he was at
the wedding and they ran out of wine.
There was lack, but Jesus didn't see lack.
He saw abundance and he saw provision.
Now, here's what's interesting.
If you look at that scripture there, his mother, Mary told the servants, do whatever
he says, whatever he tells you to do, do.
Now, what's interesting about Mary, she understood this dynamic of seeing things
before it happened because she told the servants, Hey, do whatever he tells you to
do, because when the angel came to visit her and told her that she was going to
conceive, she asked him the question, how can this be?
He says, I have never known a man, right?
When the angel began to explain how that was going to happen, the Holy Spirit was
going to overshadow her.
She said, be unto me, according to your words.
So she understood the dynamics of faith.
She understand of seeing things before they actually happen.
So Jesus goes ahead and he opens up his ministry when he sees when there is lack,
but he saw abundance.
He saw provision.
When there was sickness and disease, he saw healing and health.
When he when there was death, he saw resurrection.
Right. When there was a storm, he saw calmness.
So that's what the mind of Christ is.
Well, it's interesting that you say that because he saw it.
Then he spoke it.
Exactly. That that that's that's the dimension of where the Holy Spirit works.
You know, on for the show, we'll go into a deeper dive on this.
But there are so many answers.
This is why when Abram before he was Abraham, he told Abram, hey, you're going to be the
father of many nations.
And the guy is so old that every time he sneezes, dust comes out.
Right. But he says, I'm going to change your name to Abraham.
And I want you to look at the stars because that's going to be your how many children
you're going to have more than that.
Count them. So he wanted Abraham to not only when he spoke the words that was the
father of many nations, right, to see the stars so that he could see in his imagination,
in his mind, that physical reality changing.
And this is how God works for us.
Well, that's powerful.
Our words and our visions and our dreams.
Yeah, that's how it happens.
Yeah. You know, I just I just I keep going back to the fact that.
There has to be not just the spoken word, right, but there's that belief, that faith,
the meditation of actually seeing it and believing it.
Right. And people call sometimes people call it the law of attraction.
Right. But.
In reality, it's really God who is believing, I mean, God is is impressing upon us, I
believe, right, of things that he would love for us to do, but we're not paying attention
and we're not paying attention when we speak other things and then we wonder why things
are falling apart in our life.
You know, that's a good point, because if you look at the Bible, all those promises are
love letters to God, to us.
Right. However, we get stuck in the five senses, this physical dimension.
And when that is contrary, we have a choice who we're going to believe.
What are we going to say?
Right. What are we going to say about that burn on your leg?
What are we going to say about the pain in that leg?
Well, not only that, I mean, you're listening to other people, too.
Oh, that looks so terrible.
It's infected. You know, you need to go to the doctor.
So you start doubting.
Right. You start doubting.
And then that interferes with what the word says.
Right. You are healed.
But right. But here's the thing that we need to interject for everybody listening and
watching. We're not saying that we're not supposed to go to the doctor.
Right. We're not even saying that we shouldn't take some medicine, medications before
time or using natural modalities.
Right. Right.
What we're saying is that we take everything that's available to us because doctors and
natural herbs, these are all part of God's protocol to bring health and healing.
Right. So we're not anti-doctor or anti-surgery.
And I did go to the doctor.
You did go to the doctor.
I did go to the doctor.
But at the same time, believing that I'm already healed.
And even though I'm in so much pain.
Right. I still had that doubt.
Like maybe it is infected.
Right. Maybe I should go to the doctor.
But I'm still doing all the protocols and I'm still believing and I'm still, you know, we
pray over it every night, every night, every morning.
And then we did the right thing.
We put the aloe vera, we put the melaleuca oil on it.
So. And just because there's pain doesn't mean that it's not healing.
Right. Right.
You said the other day, I think it was this morning, you said it's itching.
Yeah. That's a good thing.
The cells are coming together.
Yes. You know, and they're healing.
So this all goes back to our words.
Right. What are you going to choose to say?
You know, do you dare speak to darkness?
The light that God says that's in his word.
Right. And we're like beans.
We are like beans.
Right. He's walking the light as he is in the light.
And it says here in Proverbs 29 20, there is more hope for a fool than for someone who
speaks without thinking.
Oh, that's good, because I think the majority of the people on the planet don't speak
before they think.
Right. Right.
When we talk about the words, because, you know, we're on this flow now of how you said
that we have to see something first before we speak it.
We're now finishing up the movie Beyond Imagination.
Right. And when we created that film and did the dialogue on that, we talked about the
power and how our imagination actually works.
And the question, one of the questions that was brought up in the film was, does
imagination work for the good or for the bad?
And it's both.
Yeah, because we know King David, here he is, that the Bible said he is a man after
God's own heart.
He's the king of Israel.
He's following God, God's anointing is upon him.
He's on the rooftop and he looks out and he sees that she was taking a bath in the
nude with a birthday suit.
This is a family channel now.
His mind started working on him.
Yeah. Before you know it, he's committing adultery and then had her husband whacked.
Yeah. Right.
Boy, but boy, did he use his imagination?
He did now, but he used it the wrong way.
So he saw it right before he actually did it.
Right. You know, this is how people relapse that are in recovery from whether it's drugs
or alcohol. This is how they relapse because they start seeing something.
They'll see a commercial on TV about alcohol.
Yeah. And then they'll start thinking about it.
Or they think that the grass is greener on the other side.
Or they'll think that the grass is greener and they'll find out it is moldy over there.
That ain't green grass, that's mold.
Right. That's algae over there.
So the words are very important.
Yes. Yeah.
Words and what you're thinking, you know, it says it right here.
You know who we're speaking with that we're speaking without thinking.
Yeah. You know, think before you speak.
Right. In the personal development world arena, that that whole community, they got a
cliche that says what you speak about, you bring about.
Right. Right.
There is a lot of truth to that, because whatever we are continually talking.
Right. That's the key.
What do we continue talking?
Right. Not when we say one time people say, well, you know, hey, you said your burn is
healed one time.
It still has a red mark.
Is that what you say? One time is what are you saying on a daily basis?
Yes. What are you speaking to yourself?
Yep. On a daily basis.
You know, we talk to ourselves more than we talk to other people.
Yeah. Have you ever been in a restaurant where you see someone's lips moving?
I just never thought of it.
But yeah, you're right.
We talk to ourselves more than we talk to other people.
Yeah. I know when we're driving down the road and everything is silent, it may sound
silent in the car, but we both got conversations going on with ourselves the whole
time. Here's the thing.
What are we telling ourselves about everything that's going on in our life?
What are we saying about the conditions?
What are we saying about the circumstances?
Because that is what's creating our physical reality.
Yeah. Yeah.
And it's not God.
We talked about that in another show, right?
In a previous show about the brain game.
Right. And God is always the solution.
He is he is never the problem.
Right. So one of the things that I personally practice is expanding the consciousness or
the mind of God, because what did Jesus think about?
He thought about success.
He thought about achievement.
He thought about prosperity, about health, about resurrection.
Well, most people, you know, I don't think people realize that about the prosperity part.
And and he was a wealthy man.
He was a wealthy man.
I mean, even at his birth, they brought him gold and frankincense and myrrh and precious
gifts. So even at his birth, they brought him a bundle.
Yeah. Now, when you when there's a part of the scripture that says he became poor so
that we could be rich.
Now, we have to understand the content of that, meaning if most people say if you want
a lottery and you want a million dollars, you would think heaven was on earth.
You would be so happy.
But if you took a billionaire and brought him down to a million dollars, he'd be telling
people, I need to fill out some form to get some food stamps.
Right. Right.
Because for a billionaire, a million dollars is chump change.
Right. So when it says that Jesus was poor so that we might be rich, we have to
understand where he came from.
Where he came from, the streets are made out of pure gold.
Right. Right.
You talk about a mansion.
Yeah. This is why when he did his first miracle, the the the bride grooms who was
putting on the party said, this is amazing because most people will serve the best wine
in the beginning. And then when everyone is absolutely drunk out of their mind, then
they'll bring the cheap stuff out.
Right. Yeah. But he.
The the the the person that was putting on the party, the wedding said, but this wine
you saved for the last, you saved the best for the last.
Right. So Jesus knew how to party.
Right. I'm not saying he drank wine because I don't know if he did.
I don't think he did. But everything.
But the fact was he made some juice.
Right. That even Jack Daniels couldn't duplicate.
So when you look at that and that made me lose my train of thought, what we're talking
about. You are talking about how he was able to make the wine.
Oh, about prosperity.
Prosperity. Yeah.
About prosperity. So the fact of the matter was, yes, if you look at the scriptures, it
says that the Roman soldiers gambled for his garment.
If he was some homeless guy with dirty clothes.
Right. Who goes down the skid row and gambles for somebody's jacket.
Right. But the Bible says that the Roman soldiers gambled to see who was going to win
the lot of his clothing.
He had a custom made tunic.
It was the top of the line.
So, yes, he did have prosperity.
Good. I'm glad to hear that.
Yeah. And again, what are we saying?
What are we talking about?
And when we say words about lack and struggle and all these things, it begins to
create that reality.
That's why the Bible said that God caused those things that are not as though they are.
You know, I would like to add this to Proverbs 15, for gentle words are a tree of life.
A deceitful tongue crushes your spirit.
So I need to just remind, I mean, our children, our grandchildren, everybody, be
careful because this world has gotten to be so much hurt, so much deceitfulness, you
know, and I don't realize, I mean, I think people don't realize that they're crushing
people's, not only other people's lives by hurting them with their words, but they're
crushing their own lives by speaking to themselves.
Absolutely. It crushes your spirit.
Yes. You know, we don't realize the damage.
Yeah. I heard somebody on Facebook say one time, he says, you know, when we say something
cruel to somebody, even if we go back and we say, I'm sorry, that word has still wounded
that person.
Absolutely. Even though we said, I'm sorry, it stays with them sometimes for years or
sometimes a lifetime.
When somebody tells that to a woman or their husband says something to them, a woman will
stew on it.
We are stewers, right?
Yeah. And we'll stew on it for such a long time.
And I think men have the ability to say, OK, just let it go.
Right. Well, yes and no, because we'll pretend.
Oh, got it.
Right. We pretend that it doesn't hurt.
But believe me, when we're tossing and turning in bed, you know, we're thinking about that.
Wow. Yeah. OK, yeah.
That's good. Now, did you hear that, ladies?
Yeah, exactly. Right.
So so big boys do cry.
We just don't want no one to see it.
Right. Big boys do cry.
So when we're talking about, you know, the words that we're speaking to other people
and then especially to ourselves, how many times do we put ourselves down?
Yeah, absolutely.
How many times do we talk negative about ourselves?
Yeah. Right. We need to change that.
We need to start speaking words of love to ourselves.
Yes. We need to speak words of encouragement.
When David was at a point in his life where everybody wanted to kill him, everybody was
against him. Everybody wanted to destroy him.
Everybody was speaking evil of him.
The Bible said that he had nobody to encourage him.
So he encouraged himself.
Wow. He encouraged himself.
Yes. And that's one of the factors that we all need to do is we have to continually
encourage ourselves because, you know, not everybody is happy over your success.
Not everybody is going to be, you know, really excited about the things that you are
achieving. Yeah.
It doesn't matter what they say is what do you say about yourself to yourself and what
does God say about you?
Yeah. Can't listen to the devil.
No. He's a liar.
He's a father of lies.
Right. It's like they said, I know that individual is lying.
Well, how do you know that? I see his lips moving.
So what's going on?
Well, you know, I think we just need to encourage everybody to watch your words, you
know, pay attention to what you're saying, not just to other people, but to yourself
every day. Yeah.
And, you know, these podcasts, we take subjects like this so that we can look at it
from every perspective, because in the world today, we have far too much religion.
And I used to be religious, man.
I had a bigger hat than the pope.
Right. But but the fact is, we need to be not religious, but New Testament taught.
Yes, absolutely.
We need to be New Testament believers.
Yes. And be open to realize, to say, hey, there's a lot of things about the word of
God that I still don't know.
Right. That I still don't understand.
So our learning is a continual basis.
Yeah. And words is part of that.
Absolutely. Absolutely.
Well, I'm ready for our next show.
Yeah, absolutely.
It's what we're going to talk about on what we talked about.
We said we're going to do the next show on.
Oh, you know, I would really love to talk about the power of God and being fearful of
God, the fear of God, the fear of God.
Yeah. And you talk about a convoluted subject and something that needs clarity on.
We'll definitely do a show on that about understanding what does it really mean to
fear God? Hey, listen, everyone, we want you to make sure that if you love these
