Hey everyone, welcome back to another
what I eat in a day. This one is high
protein and whole foods, but there's
also going to be a price because I want
to show you that balance is normal and
we want to enjoy life. So, as you can
see, every single morning I try to go
for a walk when the weather allows. And
I do this outside for some vitamin D and
just to get my body ready and be aligned
with the circadian rhythm. This just
helps you with your energy and overall
mood. They like to quickly pick up some
things from the store. Now, in New
Zealand, we only have farmer salmon, so
I usually don't get salmon, but for the
purpose of this video, I did. I would
never recommend getting farm farm
salmon, but I had to. And then we also
had to pick up some cacao powder. And
for breakfast, we make my classic banana
egg pancakes. You'll probably already
know the drill. Two eggs, one banana.
You can add something like vanilla.
Don't miss the baking soda or baking
powder. This will help to get fluffy.
And rise. Now, I like to cook mine in
coconut oil. Coconut oil just helps to
get a coconuty flavor, and it has great
healthy fats. And I think that coconuty
flavor goes really, really well with
those pancakes. And when you're cooking
these pancakes, you want to have enough
oil in the pan, and you want to have the
pan hot enough so that they don't stick.
And you don't want to have the pan too
hot because when it's too hot, your
pancakes will burn. As you can see,
mine's a little bit too hot, and it
started to get a little bit smoky. So,
when that happens, you can add a splash
of water to the side. And that steam
will help to cook the pancake because
the bottom will be very cooked through.
So the top will be too loose. So if you
add a little bit of water, it just helps
the steam to cook the whole pancake. And
that way you can actually flip it. But
if you just don't turn your pan too hot,
nothing will happen and it'll be fine.
Now I like to just add some blueberries
straight into the pan to soak up those
flavors. And I don't have to do dishes
twice. And you just cook those
blueberries. And then you assemble. You
do pancake yogurt. Pancake yogurt. I
just use four fake yogurt for some extra
protein and healthy fats. And then top
it off with your blueberries. Now you
can do a dash of maple syrup, a dash of
honey, and that's it.

I meant to say finished breakfast
because this was breakfast, not lunch.
And these pancakes are great for a
Sunday because this this was filmed on a
Sunday. It's a good brunch breakfast.
It's for the whole family. And you can
add any toppings you want. The base
again is just two eggs and one banana.
and they're so versatile and meal prep
friendly.
Now, for lunch, we have salmon sweet
potato toast. Now, as I said before, I
usually wouldn't get salmon that is farm
raised, but for the purpose of this
video, I did. And you're going to cut
your sweet potato slices into 1 cm thick
slices. And that will be your toast. And
then you just bake them until soft. You
can do orange sweet potato. You can do
any type of sweet potato you like or
normal potato. And then you add your
toppings. For this, I did full fatty
Greek yogurt, pink Himalayan, salt,
smoked salmon. I know it was far rice. I
still got the best quality one. Some
cucumber slices for some freshness and
crunch and some chibives. This is so
good and so I love it. It's so about to
tell. And I can never end the meal
without something sweet. I know. I know.
But so for some extra protein, we got
some more for yogurt and one of these
red kiwi fruits on the side. Again, I
always have one key a day because
they're so nutrientdense. And this whole
lunch is so filling, so satiating, and I
just love it.

Then I spend the afternoon outside with
my family. We just enjoyed the views. We
went outside. We got some fresh air,
hung out with some animals. It was a
great Sunday afternoon. Now, before I
had my pastry, I did have a boiled egg
just for some healthy fats and protein.
And then I had a coffee. Now, I have
cinnamon on my coffee because that's
what I like. And I get full fat milk.
This just helps with blood sugar. And as
you can see, I got a pastry I shared
with my mom. This was a raisin pastry.
It was really good. And as I said, you
can have these things. I tried to get a
really good quality one. Mine was sour
dough, freshly baked. I also ordered a
local bakery. So, all those things come
together and it's totally fine to have
this in moderation. Now, for dinner, I
had chili conan. The chili khan can be
made with beans. Personally, I can't
really digest things too well and make
bloated, gassy, and I don't really like
that. So, I try to avoid beans.
Sometimes I'll add them, sometimes I
don't. They do, however, like to add
bell pepper. I didn't have any, so no
bell pepper. Then we're just going to
brown our ground beef. And we're going
to add our onions. Now, I don't use any
oil to cook it because I use A20 beef,
which means it has a high fat content.
So, you don't have to add any oil. Then,
we're going to add our spices. So, we've
got paprika, salt, and coriander. We're
going to cook that all until fragrant.
And then, we're going to add our diced
tomatoes or pada, whatever you have on
hand. And don't forget the beef bone
broth. This just makes it a little bit
thinner and adds heaps of flavor. And
now, this is the star of the show cacao
powder. Trust me, it adds really nice
flavor. It adds richness. and it just
makes all come together. Then because
this is for dinner and I didn't have
time to slow cook it, I put it in a
pressure cooker for 30 minutes. This
just makes it easier and just helps the
flavors come together and soften the
meat. You can slow cook this if you want
to, but again, I just like pressure
cooking because it's more convenient.
And look at that. Look at that richness.
Look at all those flavors. It looks so
good. I really want a liable right now.
And then I like to top mine with some
Greek yogurt or sour cream, but I just
said full fat Greek yogurt because some
more protein, but also some healthy
fats. And then some dried coriander. And
that is my finished dinner. It's so
delicious. You can dip some stuff into
it. You can have it with some rice. You
can have with some sweet potato. You can
have it on its own as I prefer. Sorry
for the blurriness. But it was so good.
It's so rich and it's such a comforting
meal. Perfect for all those who are
heading into winter. I'm heading into
summer, but still loved it. Then yeah,
thank you for watching. I hope you
enjoyed this video. And let me know
which videos you want to see next.
