I have this Ultra wide Monitor and it is
really
wide about 34 in wide but I think I may
have find something that is slightly
wider let's check it out this is Inon 44
c1g Ultra wide Monitor and OMG disc box
is
huge but what I really want to know is
is this thing any good and can it
actually replace my current Ultra wide
monitor to get any of these question
answered we definitely got to get inside
and take it out and check it out so
let's do that now as far as ports go we
got a USB type-c 65 W power delivery
port to keep your supported device
charged while using it a display 1.2
port and two HDMI port 2.0 and a 1.4 as
well as one 3.5 mm audio jack port and
you got the power plug over there and as
you can see right over here on the back
we're going to check that out in a
little bit more detail but this is your
Visa 100x 100 all right let's get this
thing set up all right so I finally have
this thing set up and I've been using it
for a little bit and I think I Now
understand why this thing exists in the
first place and who is it for but before
we get into that I think I have to say
that when you're asking for an ultra
wide monitor you just have to be careful
what you wish for because you might just
get it and it might scare the Jeepers
Creepers out of you now seriously look
how wide this thing is this is not your
average run-of-the-mill Ultra wide
monitor like the one I've been using for
the past 2 years or so as a matter of
fact this one falls under the category
of what they call a super ultra wide
monitor at an insanely wide 44 in well
technically 43.8 in but us counted with
a full HD 3840 by 1080 IPS 12 years
display just look how crazy Ultra wide
this monitor
is now I'm serious when you have this
monitor on your desk you're essentially
rocking a dual display setup in one
monitor I know that sound kind of weird
saying it that way but I mean it is what
it is most of the other ultrawide
monitors that you see on the market have
an aspect ratio of 21 by 9 which is
really wide but n not this one not this
thing this thing has a super ultra wide
display with an aspect ratio that is 32
by9 which is seriously wide to be honest
though there's not a whole lot of
content available to take advantage of
what this monitor has to offer right now
but I mean for those supported games
though and for feuture proofing for when
more content drop I mean why not it also
covers 96% of the dcp3 color gamut and
100% of the srgb color space plus it has
a Delta e value under two which is
seriously important for professional
work and it also has support for HDR 400
AKA this display is capable of HDR with
a minimum of 400 nits which also means
that it supports professional colors and
it's dope for high quality content
consumption and creation plus it also
has AMD freeing support which means you
already know come on so I'm not going to
try to make this video way longer than
it needs to be I mean since there's
already a couple other reviews out on
this monitor already on YouTube I
definitely will link some of those down
in the description so you can get more
information what I'm going to do instead
is I'm just going to try to cram as much
detail information is as in a short at
time as possible with as much useful
information as I can sharing my
experience and some of my overall
observation which means I'm probably
going to serve you up the vinegar and
salt
first and then I'm probably just going
to give you some milk and honey
afterwards and leave the decision making
up to you all right so if you have a 2K
or a 4k monitor currently using then
this 44 c1g might seem or might be a
slight step down from those as far as
the resolution is concerned since this
one has a 3840 by 1080 display which
might not be as sharp as those 2K and 4K
monitors but to be totally honest though
I've been using it for a little while
and I mean it looks pretty good it's
just not as sharp though however if that
lower resolution monitor is not a
problem for you what might be a pause
for concern is the display port and HDMI
port which has been a real pain in the
butt for me personally since it has this
thing where it just have a mind of it
own where it just chips out every now
and then for seconds at a time while I'm
using it and I do understand this might
be a defective unit where when I plug it
in it just chips out and there's nothing
on the display for a few seconds but
I've seen a little chit chatter on the
interwebs where other people are having
similar issues so my uh PSA to you is
when you're going to order yours make
sure to order it from a vendor that has
a really good replacement or return
policy just in case you get a bad unit
another thing that really sucks about
this monitor is the port placement
behind this monitor at the bottom right
here and I mean the supply cables that
they give just sticks out and hang out
right there in your face and it makes
for for a really nasty setup a really
nasty look if you're going for that
really nice aesthetic desktop look to be
totally honest I don't think much
thought was given to how this monitor
would be used in the while and the level
that people go to make sure they have a
nice clean aesthetic look so I mean if
they did thought about all of that they
would have probably put those ports in a
different place so if you want that
clean wirefree look where they're tucked
away and out of sight then what you
probably need to do is get yourself some
angled cables I'm going to leave some
links down in the description to some
that I find on Amazon I'm definitely
going to be adding to this for my next
video with some angled cables some
type-c display pool HDMI and possibly a
power cable down in the description so
you can check those out and get those
instead if you're about an aesthetic
life the monitor stand is really good as
far as functionality it can tilt swivel
adjust the height however for me the max
height seems just a little bit too low
when it's on my desk so it depends on
your height and your use case you'll
probably still need to get an additional
monitor rizer just to get it up to the
right level to meet your high balls now
one of the things that might be one of
the biggest deal breaker for this
monitor is the fact that it's not a
curved display look having a curved
display this wide is really good trust
me it's kind of insane but it's really
really good but when you introduce a
flat panel no curve 4 to 4 in super
ultra wide monitor things kind of start
looking a little bit insane to have all
of that screen real estate and your high
balls and ads going back and forth like
a pingpong ball just trying to see both
hands of the monitor I did to be honest
I did get a little bit overwhelmed I
mean at first for the first couple days
or a week of using the monitor I was
trying to see both hands when I was
using it until I figure out my workflow
now with all the things that I just
mentioned it's leaving a bitter salty
taste in your mouth about his monitor
and it have your second guess in your
choice if you were really thinking about
getting this one I mean you shouldn't be
dismay you shouldn't be despair I'm just
giving you all the bits that you
probably need to know before you go
ahead and buy but it's not all bad this
is actually all good or mostly good this
is a very very wide and beautiful super
ultra wide Monitor and one of the
superpowers of this monitor is the fact
that it's a premium ABS panel and long
story short a ABS panel offers Superior
brightness and wider viewing angles due
to the higher aperture and even though
it's a full HD resolution monitor
content like movies videos photos and
when I'm editing these videos do look
good on this thing and it do make you
want to go back and check the specs and
also go back and check the price and
then you think to yourself man this is a
really good deal and that's where you're
reminded this is a AMD freesync and HDR
400 compatible Monitor and there is no
doubt that content look pretty and Vivid
plus the factor calibration of a Delta e
value of less than two makes colors
almost realistic and accurate the vi
angles are great you get 120 YZ I
refresh rate it wasn't built as
necessarily a gaming monitor but it
handles everything you throw at it like
a champ in a sense give you everything
that you need inside the box for getting
started which is all the cables I do
wish that they give us some angled
cables so they can be tucked away and
out of the way but you're probably going
to have to just get those on your own it
can be incredibly powerful to multitask
it makes editing videos super simple
because I can see the entire timeline
all at once plus I have all my panels
available when I need them and for
almost everything else except for gaming
and watching movies I exclusively use
this thing in dual monitor mode which
works out great for all my productivity
if you play console gam such as
Playstation Xbox series X Nintendo
switch it works out great with 120z
refresh rate however for most consoles
don't really support Ultra wide monitors
so is going to be stuck at maybe the
16x9 possibly 21 by9 but mostly 16x9
aspect ratio with those black bars on
both sides and as you already know you
have multiple inputs you can run
different systems simultaneously with
that split screen and you can easily
work between three different apps on the
display without feeling like you're
losing out on any space when they're
side by side oh yeah and before I forget
to mention it has anti- clear layer that
really helps to reduce external
Reflections such as the light in the
room or I mean if it place where the
window is in the backdrop it could
definitely reduce some of that
reflection so here's a real deal if
you're looking for the best Ultra wide
Monitor and this is probably not hit but
what this thing has going for it is a
very low price point compared to a very
high quality materials that it's made
with and the Beautiful display and
really good Prof performance for the
price there's a lot more monitors out
there that is way better than this one I
mean better features better panel and
quite possibly better performance than
what this one has to offer but I really
like this one I like the price point and
I'm really liking the value that it's
offering for such a low price point
overall I'm really happy with my
experience using the Inon 44 c1g Ultra
wide Monitor and I would definitely
recommend it to anyone that is looking
for a Ultra wide monitor that can be
used for both gaming entertainment as
well as professional use for editing
videos and all of the above I mean just
as long as you keep most of the caveats
that I mentioned in this video in mind
when you're going in to click that buy
button but if you do go ahead and decide
to buy it it can deliver excellent
picture quality with an immersive
viewing experience especially if you're
watching some of those 302 2x9 super
ultra wide supported content on this
display you will definitely enjoy your
experience I can definitely recommend
this one especially if you know what
you're getting into like I just
mentioned and you know how to use it for
what it's made for all right that's it
that's the review before you click away
make sure you click the like button on
your way out and leave a comment let me
know which monitor you want to see me
check out next Ultra wide Monitor and if
you want me to compare this to something
else also thank you for watching
watching this video big up yourself
