It is the greatest week of the year because the holiday season is really in full swing. It is Thanksgiving week. I spent all day yesterday, Sunday, finishing a needle point projects in baking. I baked four sourdough loaves. This morning, I went and worked out. I got my nails done because they've been looking really rough. Making an attempt to make my own sourdough bread rolls. So, I'm trying that out. And in the off chance that they're good, we'll freeze them for Thanksgiving and I'll make more. And if not, we know that they're not good. I've just been getting everything prepped. Sophie and her best friend are having a sleepover. My niece for our little annual Christmas sleepover. So, I'm getting a lot of that stuff prepped. I'm baking sourdough loaves currently. These are my fourth in the oven today. Like, it's just Santa's workshop here. I know it's Thanksgiving, but that's just that's how it is. Oh my gosh, it smells insane. The s'mores loaf is Oh, guys, the s'mores loaf is always unreal. And then this is my first funfetti one, which I did with Christmas sprinkles for Sophie's best friend's birthday because our sleepover theme tonight is Christmas and her birthday was like a week ago. It's not actually today, but I figured I would make her a little loaf and we do some candles and stuff. But oh my gosh, guys, these look so good. I'm still recovering from our GMAN girls friends giving which was so fun. Like truly, they just get better and better and it was a perfect group of people. What I loved so much about this I don't even need to get into this. I talked about it last video. I'll actually stop because I talked about it in the entire last vlog. It was fabulous. Okay. And obviously Charlie is a perfect angel. Can you no wrong? Actually above and beyond greatest man in the entire world. truly seriously as you guys probably saw on there and like I would say like 99.9% of things are like obviously not documented on the internet but that was just like one thing of him being an angel. I saw some comments saying, "Oh my god, you've trained him so well. Like how do I get my boyfriend to do that?" However, I actually didn't need to train Charlie to be this way. I need to show you guys his mom's book. I know I probably have talked about this and things but I haven't actually showed the book. It's also a good like holiday gift. This is her book. It's sophistication is overrated, which this, mind you, is a book that like I've wanted to do for so long. It's like a coffee table book that's essentially like dinner parties that you've hosted, recipes, different themes, all the things, right? But she quite literally has a book that is dinner parties that she's hosted that are themed where everyone dresses up. Okay, so I just need to show you guys a couple things here because it is really iconic. My favorite one is the Julia Child's one. His dad dressed up at as Julia Child. So, shout out Jean because he him and Susan really handcrafted the perfect man for me. Okay, there's a lot. I mean, like even just this stuff unreal. There's a lot. So, let me get to from Paris. Here's Julia. That is Charlie's dad dressed as Julia Childs. How iconic is this? Posted an entire TikTok like going through it more. I mean, it just it goes on and on and on. It's so crazy because we met and this obviously like we didn't know this prior. We met on Hinge, so we just met up. There's a full page of just like needle point belts in here. Let me see if I can find that. They're Catholic. They love nuns. There's all this stuff. It just It really is so crazy because we met on Hinge. So, we obviously didn't know this. Like we It came up on our first date. Not the book. Did I actually Yeah, the book came up on our first date, but really need a pointed because he like asked like things that I do and like I do a lot with grandma hobbies. Like I need a point all the time. And he's like, "Oh my god, I need the needle point belt on." If we can remember from the dating challenge. Sorry, I don't know why I can't find this page. I just had it open. Like even this, it's like pool days. There's like all these blowups. She has an entire closet in her house just of I want her to go home worthy tour so bad, but she doesn't want to. Just of costumes. Like it's so so good. The best friend's lunchon postplastic surgery. So this book she wrote with her sister. Like it's just so good. Where did the other one go? Like guys, it is so iconic. I mean this the needle point belt. It really is crazy. So, as much as I would love to take credit for handcrafting the perfect band, it actually wasn't me and it was fully like Susan and Jean Palmer and that has just been Charlie's life. I said that to Charlie last night. I was like, "Did you expect for like needle point in these dinner parties where you dress up to be like you're continue to be your life?" And he was like, "No, I really didn't." But he likes it. Like he's into it. He loves doing it. He has a great attitude about everything. But anyway, I cannot take credit as much as I would love to as we know. All right. Charlie is here. It's lunch break. We Well, that's a lot. He's trying the s'mores one for the first time. here and then I'll cut it again. >> Yeah, but that's just like just that's like half of it the way that you're doing it. >> There's green sprinkles because I shaped it next that >> Yeah. What? Whatever you think. Feel like that's a big piece, but sure. >> It's all I was saying. >> It may have gone too big. I don't know. >> Yeah. H Okay, here's the thing. Like there's so much inside there. Oh, it tastes amazing. I just have to bite it. As we get closer and closer, there's marshmallow and chocolate and stuff in there, but I don't know what's going on there. Trying the sourdough s'mores sourdough. It's just way sweeter than normal. Obviously, it's a little warm right now, but >> Oh my gosh, it's so good. Someone commented on my last vlog, and I think they're correct that these should be sconces. and not two lamps. And I'm so on their page. Also, I do have my curtains that are coming this week so I can get rid of these doors. I might do that soon. I don't know when I'm going to get to that. We will see. But it's a nice little sweet thing. By the way, when I make sourdough, my sourdough process recipe, it's pinned to my Instagram on my reals page. And whenever I do any substitution or not substitutions, inclusions, um, like for the jalapeno cheddar, the s'mores, that stuff, it's the same recipe. I just put them in in the second shape. Um, but when it's a different recipe, like the cinnamon, like cinnamon pumpkin sugar swirl bread, that's a different one. Also on my Instagram, I've been watching a lot of Home Worthy this afternoon, so I'm going to share my little mini Christmas house tour. I know I've shared this prior. However, it is now Christmas by the time you guys are watching this, and I did want to share what we have going on here. So, over here we have this cute little area. I got this table last winter break. I'm 27 years old and I still say winter break. Um, this is Katie Kim. I This is like the cutest thing ever. It's a little ice bucket and then a tray. And then I have these little glasses that I just got from Homes. This, for whatever reason, reminds me of Emily Gilmore's house whenever like Richard comes home and they make a drink. You know what I mean? And then we have these cute little nutcracker coasters that I love. They're different colors. How fun. Um, just some coffee table books. That's a furbish needle point pillow. This, I believe, is from At Home like years ago. And then I have many mini lamps back here. Ignore that cuz it was raining last night. We moved them. Um, I do have wreaths over here. I don't love these wreaths. And the bows are kind of messed up. In an ideal world, I would have, which I did last year, and I might do that again this year. I would have wreaths on every single door. It really just brings like real wreaths. It really just brings the place. makes it alive. Brings it alive. I don't know. Anyway, over here we have my most stunning possession, which is my Christmas tree. And so many of these ornaments are meaningful or they're needle pointed. This is the first one I self finished. We've got a we've got Maong. We've got Martha. We've got sourdough from when I got into sourdough that year. Kevin Mallister from Home Alone. This garden glove from Mythology. Chickens everywhere. Um, this year I swapped out the bows and I, um, got new ones from Anthropology that are gingham. The years prior I was just using the Anthropology velvet ribbon and I made the bows myself. This year they actually have bows and they're gingham and they're perfect, which is perfect because I was kind of over the velvet ribbon thing. I'm not even like a huge bow person, which I know doesn't make sense, but like on a Christmas tree, I love it. And I love this tree topper. Um, I could do a full tour on ornaments. This tomato one. Harrison, actually, let me show you. just gave me this one which is so cute and I'm obsessed. We've got brownstones. We've got Kay. We have more chickens. We got a hen. We have a football. Charlie got this cardinal which is really cute. I love this trout one. These blue bell ones which I got these. Normally I have the same like I don't buy needle point. I have to do it myself. However, I saw this one at Whipstitch and they had two finished blue bell ornaments and Harrison and I had just twisted our in Texas and I made arrangements for the Texas table out of blue bell ice cream containers. So, I got that. And then again, Martha, I have this big Ben ornament for Macy. And then I have one for Dom, too. I put her by a Diet Coke. She loves Diet Coke. I've made appointmented her Diet Coke. maong. My friend, oh my god, my friend Ben has like the Taylor tile Taylor tiles with Oh my mongog and these ornaments and he bought me one and they're sold out and it made my day. This greenhouse, another chicken or rooster like that one I think is the cutest one. We have Taylor, which was a Christmas gift a while ago. Another sourdough needle ornament. A margarita that I did. Love the potting bench. Look at Dolly. Such a good one. We have Martha and Snoop. We've got another Martha. Charlie's mom got me this one recently. Um, I love all the beaded anthrop like I love an anthropology ornament, unfortunately. They have all the really cute felt ones and I just think are adorable. I even have one with like mice and like cheese that's dangling on the other side. What other ones? This is Sophie's ornament that I got her from when she was like three. She has like set ornaments on this tree that she can decorate with, but she's too old to care now, so she's over that. Anyway, over here is the living room. I guess we'll start here. These three pillows are Caitlyn Wilson designs. Ignore that I'm in the middle of baking for Thanksgiving. Um, fun fact, this is actually my very first needle point project that I finished. It's my my sister, my grandma's first needle point pillow. I mean, she's been a seamress her whole life and she specialized in some pillows. This is the first one she did for needle point. Um, but I messed up on this canvas [clears throat] a ton and this fabric actually bleeds a lot. lot. So, I don't even keep it out that much because it bleeds everywhere, but it really is so stunning and just perfect. Um, and then I get a lot of questions actually on the Serial Hobbyist pillow. This is a friend of mine, Needle Point canvas. We are restocking, we're not restocking, we're launching new Serial Hobbyist canvases soon. And then my grandma made this. It's really sweet because this is like very similar, if not the exact same fabric to fabric that they had on our bedding growing up. My mom and grandma owned a bedding and drapery company. And all the different bedding were neighbors like me, Maddie, my cousin Alyssa. And this is one of them. And it's just really cute. So, I love that. Over here, we're in the middle of like decorating this always. This is my ma jang thing. I have so many racks. Like, you can't even. It's insane. I also just got Oh, this happens a lot. I just got a really cute Christmas mat. And spoiler, we do have some really cute winter friend of my mats coming, which is exciting. This is one of my favorite needle point projects I have ever actually both of these I've ever done. This I got this on Penny Lynn like a year or two ago because it reminded me so much of my original Christmas tree. It looks like identical actually and I just love it so much. It's so perfect. So I finished this one and then my grandma finished it into this pillow. Here's the back. I will keep this forever. It's just perfect. And then this one I actually keep out year round. It's the Rose Hill Cottage, which I always say I was more excited to get this canvas in the mail, than I was my Chanel bag. It is the Rose Hill Cottage from The Holiday, which is my all-time favorite movie. I watch that movie like over and over and over and over again, like honestly all the time. It doesn't matter what time of year it is. And I just love the way she finished this pillow. I think it's so cute. So, this one actually stays out year round because like it is Christmasy, but it's cottagey and that's just like kind of neat, you know? Over here, it's a little bit of a mess. We've got some house guest book club books up here. Some frames that I need to like actually print photos out. This is my brother's record player. And this isn't really like the most decorated. Then over here, this we have a bunch of Anthropology stockings, more ribbons, garland. I don't This is really thin up here, so it's actually really hard to decorate. Like there's so many things I would love to do with my mantle, but I can't really do it with this one. And then the stocking holders are from Anthropology. They are like the golden doodle and I think the Labrador um holders which I love and I think that they're so cute cuz I also have the golden doodle lamp over here which actually we I just got like a circular table that's coming in the mail eventually. Circular table with a tablecloth so I'll have more surface area and also I can use it as storage and like hide things underneath. And this will go I don't know if that'll this table's probably really bad to go outside, but I'll figure out a place for it to go. Anyway, back over here. Sorry, y'all. Um, we have, you know, Oh, it's over here. Okay, I have this. This um I purchased before I had my I don't buy needle point rule. I only like stitch it. This is from Furbish and I just think it's so cute. Merry Christmas to you animal. Also, like tigers are really symbol. And then um I don't know why I'm blanking. I get questions on this all the time. I'm blanking on what brand sent me this and I will link it below. The hold your horses. This is another one that was sent to me and I think it is so cute. I just have to remember. I just cannot for the life of me up here. This is so unorganized it's not even funny. Um but this is seasonal. So I wanted to show you guys this Mackenzie Child's Grain um picture frame. So I'm excited. I'm actually getting this week I'm getting the full like Grave Allen Mackenzie Child set which oh my god I will literally treasure forever. And then I just have a lot of really cute stuff up here. Like this is Harrison and I when we dressed up as a garden. My whole living room is actually very Harrison coded. He's either giving me gifts. Half the coffee table books on that table are from Harrison and I have photos that I need to like swap up swap out and like update on stuff. The way that these shelves go, I don't like that they're here. If they were here, it'd be easier for me to like style this stuff. This I need to print out a photo from Nucket and get on that as a family photo. all that. This is Emily and I in London. So exciting. Um I'm going to see her very soon, which I'm excited about. And then this is Monica and I. Okay, I do need to show you guys the coffee table really quickly cuz I do have two Christmas things here. So this is the what is it? The big ass candle, the holiday cider scent. And it smells really good. Love this. It's uneven because this coffee table is uneven, not because like there's anything wrong with a candle. And then my friend Marissa got this for me a couple years ago for Christmas and it's this Martha Stewart Christmas entertaining decorating and giving book and it's one of my favorite gifts ever and I honestly I have this out year round half the time too but now that I have my Martha Stewart Living collection I can put this with the collection seasonally. So anyway that is my Christmas stuff. Also our family cards are the perfect thing to have out on your I was going to say on your counter [snorts] on your coffee table or just out and about. They're generational conversation card games. So, there's questions for your grandparents, your parents, and your siblings. There's 25 each. There's 75 total. Perfect for the holidays. Really good gift. Fun to have out and play in the holidays. Amazing. Um, that is it for like my little mini Christmas tour. There's more stuff throughout the house, but this is the main stuff. Um, and I just need to give you guys a little visual. We're actually about to make this a little crazy because I need to get the girls Princess matching blowup mattresses that I have for them for their sleepover. I need to get them out. One, we need to read the rug, tape on this rug. Two, need to get those out and have them ready cuz I'm going to pick them up later and bring them back. And it needs to be like a Christmas magical wonderland by the time that they get here. So anyway, I hope you guys enjoyed my holiday house tour. And now we are getting back with what is it? Getting back to business. So, I started on some ficasha while I've been away. I need to do my first round of stretch and folds. Okay, I'm basically just doing my sourdough recipe and then I'm going to have it overproof. You all, I can't believe I forgot to mention this, but of course, I have all my friend of mine wrapping paper, which is available on our website. This is my favorite one. Dolly skiing. Literally the cutest design that has ever existed. Anyway, oh, now it's Guys, taping a rug actually will make you like scream. I thought we had this all the way perfect, but anyways, just retaped the rug, so it is looking slightly better. I have these two, actually three for Sophie and her two best friends. These blowup mattresses from Fun Boy that I got last summer that now are like their beds for when they sleep here. And so, we're about to set them up. We're not picking them up until later, but I'm very excited. called me and FaceTimed me and they're like so excited. It's the cutest thing that's ever existed. So, I'm going to set that up. I actually might even set up a maong setup outside just to have for the morning. The girls and I are going to play. Oh, they're texting like I'll be there in 5. So cute in our group chat. Perfect. Just we just need two. >> Um I might set up a majong mat. Let's check the weather. I employed Charlie to go get these from the attic. But these are the funboy blowup mattresses and they're really cute because they're little castles. How fun. And I have three of them because there's three of those girls and then I figured we'll just use them and hopefully they last for a long time. Who knows? Um, but I am going to set up a little Christmas ma jang setup. I have this really stunning maong mat. I'll show you guys outside. And I need to pick out the rest of my stuff for it. This is the mat. It's beautiful. Like it is just so stunning. Here's [snorts] the thing. I will say the friend of mine Matt that we have the one of them in the next collection that we have dropping is my favorite thing we've ever done. Like I know I said about everything, but I think that's a good sign because every time we do something, I just get more and more excited. That is for the sourdough one. It's very weather confused out here and that table is still soaking wet. I'm trying to dry it up. But we're just going to let this dry overnight. But here is the masterpiece that I have styled for our needle point. Let's move this. These can go over here. It's fine. These are not outdoor pillows, but I just kind of make do. I think they're so cute. I got these on Amazon. Actually, these are for the natural house, and I took them when I moved out. And these I got on Amazon forever ago. I'm not like obsessed with these as much. Maybe just cuz they're like so spring. But let me just at least take y'all through the vision. Beautiful, [snorts] beautiful Christmas mat. Okay, then I went with these acrylic bamber racks and they're green, which I thought would be kind of perfect and fitting for the Christmas mat. How beautiful. Oh, all right. Yep. Stunning. And then I went with the bamird [snorts] tortoise tiles. Look at how cute these are. Like actually adorable. I don't know where this is. Old school YouTube. It's going to look so cute. Now, will the girls actually be able to play ma jang? I'm not sure, but I do have kids maong cards. So, apparently it is easier. and they have been asking like Sophie actually really wants to play so we're going to give it a shot in the morning and like if it doesn't work it's fine. I also do have little like bag charm things and need a point and I'm like do you guys want to need a point? They're literally going to hate me. They'll be playing games and doing Tik Tok dances and stuff but you know it is what it is. It's okay. I say this in every single vlog. Best thing I ever did was redo this outdoor space. Also, I do want to make this a potting bench. I think this area that might be what I asked for for Christmas. I haven't fully decided, but and I don't know what I would even do with the herb garden. Like, I really am not quite sure. Also, I got my nails done today. They're red and I love them so much better. But anyway, also, can we just talk about how incredible this looks? I need to add a bow like right there. But is this not magical? Sure, it's a little odd with the Thanksgiving fall stuff, but that won't be there much longer. I'm still working on my big canvas. I just added this into the mix. I only did two lines. This is from the Blue Canary, and it's a clutch. Like, how sick is that? It's a self-finishing clutch. So, once I stitch it, it's good to go. Um, around the corners is like the hardest part so far. I'm sure the bottom is going to be harder. It's not absolutely horrible, but it's not the easiest thing in the world. Anyway, it is like a really good car project, though. So, picked up the girls. Oh my gosh, this looks actually so cute and so Christmy cuz it's green and red sprinkles. We have some birthday candles. I do actually have sweets for them. I'm not a monster, but everyone loves for sourdough. So, [music] >> [music] >> The girls are doing Tik Tok dances. I'm continuing on with my dinner bread roll attempt. This is definitely doubled, but the I don't know. I'm unfamiliar with this stuff. Also, George cookware. We just used the pizza slab for the first time. So convenient. Like actually the most convenient thing ever. And we're drinking. This is a new obeline. At least new to me. This is my favorite wine in the entire world. It is so good. Like even Charlie who doesn't like white wines and stuff loves obine. >> I just don't I don't love rose. Yeah. >> Do you want to wear the white tall one? Place into a bowl covered and keep the dough at 80. Okay. Punch down the dough and place it on the counter. Divide the dough ball into 15 even balls roughly 85 g each. What [snorts] does it mean to punch the like this? I don't know. I will say this smells good, which I feel like is a good sign. This is literally the best week ever. They're 100% going through my PR drawer. Do you guys remember when Sophie was like two and all she wanted to do when she would come over was be attached at my hip? I could barely go to the restroom. Now I have to ask her if she wants to hang over hang out when she's sleeping over at my house. It is something else. Girl, >> what are you doing? >> I'm waiting on >> Oh, okay. [laughter] I think it's a 9 by13. >> I was waiting forever. >> You know what would be nice? Like so unnecessary, but like a good looking food scale. I use my food scale all the time for like baking, not anything else. Like they're literally outside right now just doing Tik Tok dances like I'm on YouTube. Okay, we did do happy birthday with the sourdough which is so fun. So basically my niece Sophie is my steps sister's daughter obviously and then her best friends is like middle school. They all had daughters the same age. So there's three of them only one only two of them are here tonight anyway. So that's normally if like any of them are over. That is the relation. And I love them. I'm seriously just having the best time this week cuz I'm like really homemaker extraordinaire. Oh, it needs to be bigger than that. I really hope this works, but like only time will tell. Also, like it really is insane how much happier I am. I can't I don't want to get into it with the kids here. This time this year versus last year. Obviously, last year was not my year. And the holidays in general are like still very hard for me. They are have been hard for me for years. But it is crazy like how much can change in a year. Like actually like makes me like I get like emotional about it like regularly. Like it is so crazy. I really didn't see like good happening. It's crazy. There's hope, guys. Who knew? If I nail these dinner rolls, like it is game over. Like doing this while Home Alone is on and my niece and her friends are here. Like, this is the life I was about to live. I'm going to do cranberry, rosemary, brief, ficasha, um, and try that out for the morning. And I'm hoping that that works out well because I've got multiple Thanksgivings that I'm going to. Actually, I guess I can give you guys a low on Thanksgiving. We're doing Charlie's family's Thanksgiving um Thursday like first thing and then we're going to my mom's Thanksgiving and staying the night there. So, I want to have everything prepared and then we're doing Thanksgiving with my dad on Friday. But, we're just like going to go out to dinner then, you know? I'm like, that's so like divorced dad core actually. All right, here we go. I'm using the country sourdough. I'm using the country sourdough recipe. It's not going to the recipe journal until I know I like it. But I'm going to let this rise for the next 2 to 3 hours for that 80°. So really, it needs to be like 4. Oh god, I'm going have to wake up until the night. That is going to be tough. [music] >> I'm just the sourdough factory. >> Kenzie, the green ones are mine. I don't want I'm kind of not wanting to give those to you cuz I feel like you're going to sprain your ankle and then you can't play soccer and your parents will be mad at me. >> Can I just wear them here whenever I when I sleep over at your house? >> Sure. All right, you all. I just had majang outside. The bread rolls are out. That's a lot of butter. I'll be honest. I'm not quite sure how they're going to be. I'm going to let them They don't look amazing just yet. They don't look bad. They just look a little messed up cuz there's a lot of butter happening here. I'm actually about to put in this cranberry ficasha. Looks incredible and smells amazing. So, I'm thinking this is going to be great. [music] By the way, there of course this is how you know you're playing ma jang with kids the prime. But we're playing on the ma jang line kids cards. These are amazing in case you guys want to teach any kids ma jang in your life. They're way easier. Honestly, this is good for anyone to learn. Like I used to joke like for boyfriends but until you know Charlie started beating me all the time. So you know maybe not that. But anyway, they're actually doing such a good job. Kaisa has four jokers. I'm so impressed. The ficasha is out of the oven. The problem is like it should be more golden brown, but there's so much brie in this. Like I really overloaded this with brie. So that's definitely correct. But it just doesn't look as golden brown as normal. So I'm going to let that settle. It does look incredible. I just dropped the girls off. I did finish the bread rolls this morning. And at first they were just a little doughy. Like they're very dense. And at first I was like, "Oh, they're ruined." And then I tasted them. They're actually really good. I can't like give those to people because they're obviously not perfect. But I feel like we're heading in the right direction. Also, Sophie forgot her majong cards, of course. But anyway, eating some ham from this weekend. Wow. On this like this actually looks incredible. We had the best sleepover. I'm so impressed with how good the girls are in Maong. If you love Maong and you have kids in your life, get the Maong line like kids cards, kids mage cards. They are so good. Like it was so fun. And the whole Wired Home were talking about it. Like they're going home and playing it at their house right now. Like it's just the best. Anyway, today I need to edit and get some work done. We have a dinner reservation at 5:30 for a new restaurant in Dallas. Uh Vanderlay Concept, which is like my favorite group. Also, look at this. This is a new from She took my and it has this little plaid here and then plaid on the back. It's really cute. All right, y'all. It is now 5:00 p.m. after I dropped the girls off this morning, which was, by the way, such a fun sleepover. I had a call and then I just sat and I edited the Gilmore Girls vlog all day long and I think it is such a sweet vlog. I love it. So, if you guys haven't watched it, go watch it. I'm about to go to dinner at El Molino, which is a new restaurant in Dallas. Vanderlay, which is one of my favorite restaurant groups, if not my favorite, honestly. I'm currently marinating in a self tan, so ignore that. So much to do. I've been running around. It's like 2:00 p.m. This is the first time I'm picking up my vlog camera. First up, Mang Masks came in. How exciting. Second, the Mackenzie Child's Grey Min collab has arrived. And oh my gosh, is this a stunning collaboration. These have been my Christmas plates forever. They're so beautiful. Not even Christmas, just winter in general. I am in love with these. Like, how absolutely perfect are these? I've been getting a lot of last minute work done. I'm in the middle of baking more sourdough, which is really something. I have I cannot even tell you how much I baked this week. We did more ficasha. I have sweet potatoes here for Oh, wow. They're really good to go. I'm about to make some sweet potato casserole. We've got some more ficasha. I have to decide like what's going where. I also have a pie that we're baking tonight, but it's like a no- baked pie. It's really easy. I'll show you guys later how to make it, like the entire recipe and everything. Oh, also last night we got some more obeline. I know I've got a record to say I don't like red wine. I've actually been converted. Charlie loves red wine, so like I've gotten on board with it and it's actually really good. Who knew? Shocker. So much is happening. We have bread rolls in there. Like there's just a lot going on. I thought today I was going to be like, "Oh, it was so fun. All the things that I love to do and then I've just been really overwhelmed getting everything done, especially before like Black Friday Cyber Monday." So anyway, also I can't really like shower and actually get ready for the day. I'm getting my hair blown out at 4:00, which will be nice. That'll be a really great thing, but I have got to get back to work. [music] Okay, we made very very slight minimal progress on the office, aka it is still a mess. However, we have a plan. The curtains actually should be arriving today with the rods as well. And I'm going to get rid of these doors hopefully today. So, this is great because now this isn't all the bedding anymore and I can start using this as storage, which will be a game changer. And also like both of these are going to be storage and like office supplies. It's probably like friend of mine samples and stuff. Um, these are going to go and then I'm going to have curtains. So, it's going to be cuter and also just more practical. So, those are some nice updates. I need to go to Framebridge and get this thing framed. It's going to be so cute in here. I've been working on some self finishing. As you guys saw, I spent all Sunday doing that. So, like this will go over here as just a really convenient thing. I'm going to organize this later. But having like the bags, like just somewhere to put all this stuff like especially all these that are Kindle cases of Not these actually aren't even samples. These are are final. No, they are samples because they don't have the correct back to them. But just product. I'm going to need to get good baskets. Maybe I should get some from the Container Store on Black Friday, Cyber Monday. We'll see. But having a place for the samples and just extra product is going to be so helpful. Just went on a walk in the neighborhood having some coffee. We are trying out sourdough bread rolls. So, update on the bread rolls I made earlier this week. I have come to the realization that I just didn't cook them long enough. But, I will say at first I thought they were a flop and then we ate them and they're actually so good. So, I do still need to perfect these. But anyways, I saw these on Host H A U S T E on their Instagram and it's like sourdough literal sourdough rolls as bread rolls and then you just mimic the it's genius. You mimic the Dutch oven just by putting muffin tins on top. So, we're going to do that. We did jalapeno cheddar, of course. We also have drinks. We have a lot of stuff that we're bringing, but the drink that we had last week at Bar Sardine. And I hate Jen, by the way. So, really hear me out on this. It was probably the best alcoholic drink I've ever had in my life. Amazing. So, we're going to try to We're in charge of drinks today. So, we're going to do stuff for a spritz at Charlie's mom's and then we're going to do the recreation of the bar sardine drink. And once we perfect it, I will be making a video for you guys probably this weekend because it's just unbelievable. So we have these and then I got a lot of sourdough prep. I'm about to go to Pilates. I got a lot of sourdough stuff done. All I have left is the invisible thread which is in my opinion the worst part. [snorts] >> Perceivable rope. Charlie says one time basically Charlie loves a song by Taylor. So it's invisible string and one time we were in the car and he was like can you play that perceivable rope song? So now it like continued on. Anyway, um this is the Joker that on the back like how cute. This is fabric from my friend Ally and she got this for me when she it's a Liberty London fabric I think. But anyway, so stunning. Actually, two of these are she brought these back from her travels and I love them. So anyway, that's that. This is another one. This one was so hard because I somehow forgot to like do a border technically on both of these, but this one just worked out on the Incrustable. So, yesterday dry bar I was like doing I was as it was already cut I was doing a border. So, it's definitely like really a little messed up and then the backing is a little bit off too. So, I'm going to have some serious some serious stuff. But here's the thing, it's forgiving a little bit once you have cording around it. So, this is the back. Another fabric that Ally gave me that I just think is so cute and like unexpected and it matches perfectly. And then this one was so hard cuz she's so small. It's similar to a bag charm. This is coconut. And also I stitched this like 2 years ago and it isn't like my best stitch job ever. I I don't remember what fibers I used, but I remember like not loving doing it with that stuff. Then I had this as the background. They look really rough right now, but I will perfect them. Maybe not perfect them, but I'll make them look better. And then for this one, it's really cute. I have the stitch all day. This is a bag charm. Like, how cute. And then I have this. And then we have like a warm brown. And the cording will be tighter cuz you twist it as you're putting the cording on. But like once the cording is on with this, it is going to look so good. So hopefully I'll have these done in the next couple of days. I would love to. These two are ornaments. This is a door hanger. And then this is a bag charm. And then I still have this one to do. I don't know how I keep putting it off. I need to just get on with it. For a hostess gift tour today, I got this for Charlie's mom. This little Bizzy Bee Anthropology ornament. It's the cutest thing ever. And then I love I'm like obsessed with these little felt ornaments. And then I got her children's ros. So I got her like rosé cute little wine glasses. This is how I keep my blowouts fresh whenever I'm working out. I just continuously move them in a hair clip. Here's the problem. My blowout from yesterday was actually a fabulous blowout. And it didn't last, but I actually kind of like how it's looking now better than how it was prior. So, I'm like, do I I was going to like recurl it, but I don't know. I kind of think I need to see like I almost like this but like does do I need something else with this fit, you know? And it only takes me like 10 minutes to curl. So I might I think I probably I don't know actually. I really don't know. [clears throat] We will see. Um I'm going to do my makeup and then put on the best outfit I have ever worn. I'm so excited. Like this is everything that I needed in a more house. In house labs, by the way, I wear is it AC4? No. 175 light neutral. Best foundation ever. Like there truly is nothing like it. I did just put a bomb on my skin. So that's probably not good for skin prep. It's actually by probably not. I mean I know that it's bad. I cannot not put on this balm that I wear every day. I normally like to give myself some more time between skincare and makeup, but I'm in a little bit of a rush because I have been a working girl. This morning I went and worked out. Um, we had to get the Harrison episode up, which it [snorts] watch that episode year round. Doesn't even need to be Thanksgiving. It's just a holly jolly festive episode. And it's going to be fabulous. I am back to using a Real Techniques sponge on my skin. Mainly because I need to wash my makeup brushes really bad and I can't use the foundation brush. But I always forget how much I love this. Like I prefer this sponge that's like two for $7 or something. two for 14 or something maybe like something like that. But it's cheaper than a beauty blender and it is just so much better. Like I love a beauty blender, don't get me wrong, but this Real Techniques sponge I think does a better job and is cheaper. And my mom, my sister, and I have used them for like a decade. Like we've used these since high school and they're so good. This one just gets a lot bigger. The surface area is better. The whole thing is just better. And I love how airbrushed my skin looks whenever I use it with this foundation. That's really, really good. Now, going in with my Nars concealer. All right, update on the sourdough rolls. By the way, guys, they are great. Best blush ever. Rare Beauty Happy Blush. Also, they sent it to me. Rhinestone. Like, is that not the cutest thing you've ever seen? Love them. This is what I use to like fake bake underneath my eyes. [applause] I don't feel like I do the actual baking process. I don't even remember the full process. Maybe I am baking. I don't know. I I don't do it correctly. I think it does make a really big difference though with my under eyes. All right, guys. Update on Sof and Maong. Last night, um my sister, her mom texted me. They were playing Maong. The girls like had another sleepover at her house after. And they were calling me asking for the kids cards, which I had already tried to send with them and they forgot. And they were playing Maong last night. Like, I am so over the moon thrilled. Then I texted her this morning and I said, "I can't wait to play Maong with you today." And she goes, "Same, guys. I used to say I've created a monster, but now I have actually created the most perfect angel child that can do absolutely no wrong. This is my favorite blush that I use. This one I feel like is what gives me the sunburn effect. I use as a powder to set my original blush and I just love it. I do think I'm going to go in with some curls, guys. It's Thanksgiving. Can't forget this very important part. So, this is the dibs. What is it actually called? The Love Beam setting powder. I love anything love beam like from them. I'm actually completely out of this. But this is the dibs love beam perfector that I was using all summer that I loved my skin. Anyway, the love beam powder. I actually don't even really know. This is the blur pow powder. I use the brighten and I go in with the little heart puff that they give you underneath my eye and I just pack it in there and I feel like it looks like I got my makeup done. Maybe my makeup artist uses something like this and that's why I feel that way. But I love the effect that it gives. I don't know if you can tell when this lighting, but it really does make a huge difference. Dibs products. I normally do have a code. I feel like a lot of eyebrow gels just like brush them out and will stay for a couple hours. This lasts all day for me. Then I've been using the Charlotte Tilbury airbrush Tilbury airbrush setting spray. I love the Morphe setting spray too. And I'll do makeup and curl my hair as like with my fake blowout and we will be on our way. Okay, I curled my hair and I am so glad I curled it. Like this is giving way more of Thanksgiving. I still need to brush it out a little bit more, but yeah, this is the vibe with the dress. Okay, I need to put a lip product on, but time to try it on. All right, y'all. A moment for the dress. I'm obviously not going to keep the coat on for long because the dress is the star. Oh my god, guys. I've never had a better outfit in my life. Like, literally, I've never Just practicing my mirror photos. Never had a better outfit. This is amazing. I need to put earrings in, but like this is amazing. Maybe I have more Let's see. I have more of like a statement earring back here. These are kind of orange, but they could turn look red. Are these like perfect? These are literally the perfect earring. I don't know where they're from. I'll be honest. So, I have to figure that out. This is amazing. It's all my favorite colors, too. Update on the sourdough bread rolls. These are amazing. We did jalapeno cheddar. I just had one. So good. the exact same process, but we did stretch and folds and shaping on all of these. And I did the same time for inclusions. Then you put them in muffin tins, and you put another muffin tin on top to mimic a Dutch oven. Baked it at 500 for 20 minutes, and then at 425 for 5, so it's a shortened baking time. I was getting some Needle Point done the past couple of days. Wait until you see the finishes that I've done. Guys, seriously, I started All Her Fault cuz everyone's watching on Netflix and I want to watch it, but I want to read the book first because one of the books is really good and then I miss out on the book. I have hated being sick the past couple of days. I thought we were going to get so much more done, but you know what? It happens. I wanted to share with you guys. I actually did get this done the past few days. Wanted to share with y'all my finished projects. So, if you guys are not familiar with Needle Point, first you stitch the canvas. And then once this is done, it's a lowercase Finish. And then you would either send it off to a finisher or you would self finish. And I've learned how to self finish at least like ornaments and bag charms and stuff, not the pillows. My grandma does that um through the cow town finishing course online. You guys can use code Kinsey 15 for 15% off. So helpful. Like if I can do it, genuinely anyone can do it. Okay, starting off strong. This is the best one with the joker. This is a door hanger that I'm going to have on my ma jang dresser. I'm just so obsessed. My friend Ally gave me this fabric and it's so perfect. She actually also gave me this fabric and this is the uncrustables which is a really sweet one. My brother and I used to always eat these growing up. So, I made this into an ornament, and I am just in love with this look. I think it's so fun and so cute and amazing. Next up, we have coconut. The smaller they are, the harder they are, and that's why there's a there's a couple things I could paint around and fix it up a little bit more. Um, but this is coconut, which my dog, the small one, Coco, is named Coconut after the American Girl doll Coconut. So, this is just perfect. And this is Coconut. I don't know if you guys saw, like there's a little bit of like a Baronstein bear. What is it? Baronstein bear effect or what if what is it called? Mandela effect. Baron steam bear is one of them. Anyway, um she got an upgrade like she looks new. And this is the OG American Girl, which I appreciate. The OG coconut I appreciate. Oh my god. And this is the OG coconut, which I appreciate. Anyway, the cutest little ornament. And then the fabric for the backing is just perfect. Like, how perfect is that? Okay, last but not least, this is the bag charm. I should have made the cording longer when I was making the cording. I wasn't really thinking, I don't think, about this being a bag charm when I was doing all the cording for these, which were more like ornament sizes. Really, you want the cording to be a little bit longer. Thank god it barely loops, so it does work as a bag charm. Um, but this is a stitched angel stitch at all. I've actually gotten into them. I said like, "Oh, I'm not hooked." But I did ask for a couple for Christmas. I just think that they're fun and cute and they're really easy, simple stitches, and they're going to be really fun. And I'm going to make some of them as rounds and turn them into ornaments, but I'm asking like I love the gardening one. There's a hydrangeanger one. There's just a couple and they're really cute. So, they are fun. Some of them are ugly, I'll be honest. As is everything, you know. So, anyway, I do have this and this is going to be a little bag charm. Stitch it all. The grandma who's stitching everything. We're literally twins. So, I'm genuinely so proud of all of these. Like, I cannot believe that I did this. This is so incredible. Like I'm just not a DIY sort of girl. Like I love to needle point sure, but like I never thought I would be finishing. Like look at these. Okay, moving on to my whip. My work in progress. I did finally finish the background of this. I've taken some time off this one. I was burning out a little bit and I was moving on to other projects. I was like finishing and you'll see the next one. Um, but I did get a little bit of orange here last night and I do I'm gonna go to Charlie's mom's today in Needle Point and I'm going to bring this one and like get myself back to it because I would like to have this done by the Super Bowl and I have other big canvases coming so I would like to get this one out of the way. And realistically like I could get this done soon if I really wanted to. I do have a like there's there's quite a bit of stuff that I need to stitch here but like I would like to just get this done. And then for my smaller project, I have this bag from Blue Canary, which you guys have seen probably a lot in this vlog. I have gotten quite a bit of the background done. And this is just the cutest thing ever. I'm so excited about this. I really want to get one for MA that says MA, but they sold out. I was trying so hard to get it and then they sold out. Um, but I love tortoise. And this is just everything to me. It's so perfect. And I'm not even a monogram girl normally, but like something about this is so chic and fun to me. I'm just like so into this. So, I'm loving that. Oh, I also wanted to let you guys know, um I just filmed like a what's on my Kindle bag. I guess I can show you guys what I'm reading, but our Kindle cases, blue TW, brown TW, and then this lilac, they are um launching. When does this vlog go up? Vlog goes up, but they're launching on December 4th. So, they might be out or they're coming out very, very soon. Um I started reading All Her Fall and I'm not that far into it. Actually, I'm only about 13% in, but I'm excited. And I also have that again which is Diane Katon's memoir. I'm really really excited about this. Also, didn't you guys love the Gilmore Girls vlog? Like I feel like that and like a Harrison Wallace podcast episode. Great week for the YouTube channel. Truly like unbelievable. So anyways, I'm reading this cuz I want to read the book first and then watch the series because what if the book is so good and then I watch the series so I can't read the book after. You know what I mean? Like it ruins it. So I am reading that which I'm really excited about. And then I got this in the mail. Missy's designs. Missy. Um, it sold on Penny Land. And it says, "Cook like aa, decorate like Nancy, host like Martha. Ma's going to stitch this one for me, which is just going to be so perfect and like so incredible and perfect and great. And it's going to be a little box pillow, which I'm really, really excited about. I just think it's so cute. Everyone's been tagging me in this one for so long, and I just like cannot take on a bigger project again right now, but my like really wants to stitch it, which is gonna be amazing. I'm so excited." it. So, I'm actually going to kit this for her this week and then bring it to her so she can get to work. But, oh, guys, y'all are going to die.
