The BEST 2400y Course In All Of Golf | The Winter Park 9

what's up welcome back to the channel Andrew here and I am a Winter Park Golf Course once again it's like saying hello to an old friend even though I've only played it once I fell in love with this golf course the first time I came out here you don't recall I came out here in January when I was down for the PGA Show played with Joe therapy and showed a little bit of the golf course but not shot for shot so I'm by myself I'm down here working in Orlando this week gonna go play all nine holes take you around every single shot you're gonna see just how beautiful this short little course is right in the middle of the city and you're also going to see just how diabolical these greens are so enough talk let's go play a knife [Applause] [Music] [Applause] [Music] look at this clean scorecards every detail is just awesome here twenty four hundred and eighty yards are 35 this is a 241 yard par-4 okay so it's actually playing 225 took a flag literally perched on the back edge of this green when I drove in so just gonna kind of get a soft or iron in front of the green right brother well here you go you can see what I was talking about with these diabolical greens look at that and I hit right there trick them back a little bit there we go eNOS up there and literally a few paces to the right of it gone few paces over the green gone just how fun is this it's so freakin cool like nothing else just like a time capsule slower 225 yards are for nice bar 137 little wind helping anywhere but that put a couple feet every green out here look at the slope on this you know you down there bye-bye pretty flatterer back there but if you go long it's strictly severely down look at this thing here well elephants hump there I mean with the right pins you can hit it really close but if you miss the green you have post shooters there's a bunker back there and tricky stuff pretty time third hole here is a 430 yard par 5 and the reason why this golf course is so short it was built in 1914 so it's a hundred and sixty results just imagine a hundred years ago playing this golf course and dealing with these greens stopped they used back then it's actually kind of special to have like a bit of a relic left over from back in the day when with 3-wood because I don't want to mess with the road and just have a mid iron okay that was pretty crappy but not on the road but here I've got like 195 to it probably about 175 to the front of the green so low high cutting going with a 7-iron try to get it up on a green if not in front of it and hopefully make a birdie [Music] about that tree slipped for like 50 arts whether you're emailing all right you see the demon having a lot of technical difficulties my camera since the screen is broken it looked like right beside the ball all the way to the back so let's go inspect so here's our third green blade less slope than the first two just that stuff behind but I think my shot hit like right on this down stuff and just scoot it hard away from the flag so now I've got that for birdie on a 430 yard par 5 [Music] [Music] just a fraction off with your saw here and there's just no room for error it seems so great bar on a short short sewer hole here's the story for this one 495 yard Par 5 around the cemetery probably the Purdue's the first time I'm comfortable hitting driver out here you want to take it right over that bunker you can bite off and Cemetery for the Greens about there but go to same it on the bunker it's great [Music] and out of it not gonna okay way to speed this green yeah we got a front pin thankfully make this shot a little bit easier rustic yeah 195 so it's gonna go with 6-iron if I do leave it a little sore it's better than anything Ocelot see we get up there friggin sprinklers see this thing I lost them a little left maybe have jumped on it cuz of the sprinkler and landed around there kicked back here I have to get up and over this can't hit it past the flag because it'll be off the green when I played the first time at the great 6-iron took back left and we're in the middle agreement down there nice par this is just really awesome once again we worked hard for that one holy cow okay this one's 354 on the card but it looks like that bhakti they don't use anymore 324 of the flag it looks like it's all the way back if you can't tell 200 degrees out here Florida community huh I'm going to give this crack try to get close to the green if not on Hans room that's train coming group okay drop and we're all right okay got a little interesting one this is one of the flatter greens on the course but over here ain't quite see Christmas tree there's a ridge and then and not go long white sand wedged underneath that branch did that slope and hopefully kill it because again I don't Oh see barely hung up it almost went in but it barely stayed up I was talking about look at this little shelf right here and the other down slope so I've had to pitch it kind of off that down slope and let this upslope kill it I have a little more room than I thought thankfully because long you can see everything would go off over on that side everything was there cool off so this thing almost went in but I thought it was going to trickle away but thankfully it didn't oh my gosh that stinks I thought I'd hit a good putt damn it six hole it's 262 on the card but we see the flag through the trees there 232 right to the flag green is kind of a kidney shape for the first time I played it was over on the left this time and you got to go right at it probably the three iron over the trees right is the place to miss you just left breeze that bunker and play right just that old pit bull ride the horse in I didn't laugh oh that's gonna be such a hard up-and-down see I was kind of preoccupied with the height over the trees I kind of flipped it so I'm over here pins over here great you can see this green some crazy slopes actually kind of flat over there but I got a host this thing up pretty quickly land it in from the hole and hope it lands softly yep this green is another really just a couple yards not enough a sidekick right gone a couple yards further than forward the numbers on the card don't obviously don't do it justice for how tricky this golf course is but and it's a lot of fun come on this course is gonna test so much like it's gonna test your iron flake to be so precise and then your short game has to be immaculate Alex on the back so and not cannot cannot cannot go long punches have an iron to make sure I don't get back there but this eight iron what does they pick it could be the wildest green out here I missed it actually in the right spot and I knew that the first time you cannot go in this bunker it's your chance of stopping that get that hang up there we have a ridge up here and everything finals back off the back side back to that bunker it's a relatively easy pitch myself with I know I'll take it I missed it in the right spot Thanks all right 139 this is kind of like the punch bowl full only half the pin and then the punch bowl you can see this guy's playing ball strip about so anything right of this flag will trickle down to it that's what we're trying to do and see if we can make one and I hid a lot of it dead pin-high left of it dummy false fronts so I didn't have enough Club dead obviously you want to clear up there to the right and see it come down cuz that's cool yep and leave it up there miss right you're dead that's bogey relatively flat over there but he can go long can't go left wasn't as cool a shot but I'll take it got the camera up here we're in with three now we're gonna have a little bit of fun I'm gonna try that part of vanilla back I just think if you hit your fired shot in I mean it's not actually hard to hit that thing close we're okay we made three pretty pouring but we're our front end protected by that bunker and that bunker that's green is pretty wild as well so if I'm gonna miss one of its right where he is we're a little on ups and go a 5-iron try hit it close it's like 10-feet hurry go let's go kind of see a little worms eye view of this screen I got quite lucky I'm gonna hit a really good shot it landed on the green just right of this bunker and they've released right as a post you know a little bounce left we're gonna go on down there over there was a great place to leave it when I played it was back pin it's the up there pretty tricky can't go long can't go left so I got a nice book at Eagle here to finish off this little day at Winter Park I'm gonna win it with the deuce I hope you enjoy that video as much as I did playing I mean that took an hour in 5 minutes it was $15 and look at the pureness of this condition so if you're in the Orlando area I mean you got
