The Stadium Course at TPC Sawgrass | Bucket List Golf Courses Vol 2

some days are just better than others and today is one of those days i mean it isn't beautiful weather but i'm going to play tpc sawgrass today the stadium course and i've actually never played the full 18 holes i've only played the back nine when i went out with george and we filmed a few videos out there i've still yet to play the front nine i played the valley countless times my father-in-law's late birthday present we finally get to redeem it and go play tpc sawgrass and naturally i'm gonna take you with me and show you the golf course some ins and outs and then more specifically i'm gonna play all three of the finishing holes for this video because that's why you pay the price of admission that golf course those three holes they're everything so we're going to take on those three holes and see if we can't match what rory did last year when he won the tournament one of the cool things you come up here and all the spots at the front a reserved for tour players anyone with status so back when i had status on the mackenzie tour i could park in these spots but now i got to park way back there slug it up but it's all worth it because this place is pretty special in the practice facility is out of this world i could spend the whole day here at the practice facility and not even bother me to play the course because it just it's just so pure so you roll up here and there's just i mean look at it out back there that's where champions tour pj tour and corn fairy tour players have access front mckenzie china latin america but awesome green massive putting green chipping area and then it's just pure and then over at the valley course you do have an awesome practice facility shipping putting green as well the academy but it's just cool to come here and be like this is exactly where they warm up before uh before the players here's my father-in-law and his buddy ken hitting some putts these greens are going to be lightning fast for them it's gonna be a fun day [Music] 156 [Applause] very nice going from the hot sauce to tpc sawgrass you're like a kid in a candy store first time playing here that's awesome everything is amazing bucket list right beautiful bed this is a bucket list right here check it off okay buddy stage is set this is for your first birdie of the day first party at tpc sawgrass just like the pros hit it nice par thank you first par at cvc sawgrass there you go [Music] wow [Music] [Music] it's got a little window oh yeah dude you're putting it on camera [Music] on a scale of one to ten how's your day oh this is great i got like three parts [Music] walking out into the ninth and when you stand on this tee like even playing the blue tees it is such a hard driving hole like look at this narrow little neck that you had to hit this in howling into the face you see guys you know you try to get it all the way down there in the tournament but then look at the second shot you're faced with at least you have the bailout right but look at all those mounds wind is up and you know what this win means means when we're playing 17 and 18 it is gonna be dead into the face i know i said i was gonna film the last three holes and see how we do we're having too much fun out here we're just gonna keep going and i'll check back in with you on the 17th hole and you can watch all of us hit our shots there and just see how many balls are gonna be dry how many balls will be in the water and then we'll call it a day there because i mean my father-in-law just made three birdies in a row on six seven and eight he's uh he's catching up to me he's one under i'm two on so i gotta i gotta get get back to golf and we're back looking good there we go this is playing the 16th here and that's what you look at weather's cleared out for us the back nine's been a little rainy a little squirrely still too under par moving a quick birdie here we are creating memories but here you look everyone's taking pictures it takes a bit of time to play 17 but like i said i'm gonna let the camera run we're just gonna see what happens for the four of us on 17. the wind has kicked up we've just watched the group in front of us hit four in the water now they're literally all hitting again i think there's a bit of nerves with uh with brad ken and bart i think it's gonna be about 130 yards into some fan we'll chip a wedge maybe maybe nine iron front pin that's the one one pin so uh i'm just gonna let it run kind of up here in the cart so they don't get too nervous but then we're up on the green we'll uh they'll know what's going on i'll go first i'll uh i'll be the guinea pig here but up on top of that hill there do you guys feel a bit nervy it's interesting how like it is such a little teeny shot i mean yeah i'm kind of in between clubs that's my problem i hit it over yeah come on down all right on the right level all right baby yeah it's i would i'd play at 130. 130 to 135. it's not going to hurt you i got a 145. that's too much fun that's gonna go over the green i don't believe you all right andrew you're 120 to the flag you're like 128 to the middle of the green there's wind up there dude so yeah 135 yard shot 145 yard if you hit it solid it's over the green for 145 yard club so 135 let's hit your nine iron smooth that's what you got now yep see it's fine though that pot is gonna be so hard if you had done that with eight irons swimming right oh [Music] [Laughter] man i got this one there you go come on in baby come on go go oh go come on come on around can still make bogey how good is that swimming again yeah edit that first one out i don't think so i don't think so it's going to be an incredible pokemon club shot shot 120 to that flag hit a pretty good shot a little high the wind moved it a little bit left so but i hit it long brought it back it is on the fringe but i will take that brad is just having the day of days he's having so much fun that second one of his was gonna be a great little par or a bogey so let's go pop this camera up on the green see if i can't uh make a little two on 17. so here's the walk how many times have you done this walk you played here uh probably five or six this is brad's first time ken how many times have you played here great three how many times have you hit the green with the first ball what once this is my first full round here second time playing this hole and i'm two for two thankfully actually i didn't hit the green technically i think i'm on the fringe here's your little walk safety first i got all this bart's putt is going to be pretty freaking interesting walk all the way around to the other side that's a great shot brad it's a better than most pin you see i hit right here better than most oh yeah put that edit in there there we go the double putt it's a bold strategy that's a great putt part pretty good uh double butts there well done that'd be great for the video go baby go not high enough good bar thank you boring park boring par this has been a day of boring bars all right brad make that bogey let's go tells you my first one remember yeah same thing you're doing good try all right this would be a great two putt see it half a ball outside left firm yes sir follow directions trust the coach never again thank you coach no worries we're gonna go finish this round off i really hope you enjoyed this video this little look at uh tpc sawgrass stadium club we've had a blast i would highly recommend if you can get down to jacksonville get out and play this golf course if not get down here for the players
