What's going on, guys? We are back with
another video. My name's Armando, and in
today's video, we're going to be going
over the Ox Beam V series lights. We're
going to be going over my thoughts and
opinions, features of the lights, and
also the realworld performance that they
offer. So, on my Colorado ZR2, I have
every size available for the Ox Beam V
series. So, starting off with the ditch
lights up here, these are a 3-in in
white. And then moving to my front
bumper, I have two 5-in ambers. And then
I have two in the middle white 7in
lights. So, each of these lights, all
the sizes come in either a white lens or
an amber lens. It just depends on what
you want to go for. All the lights are
uh have a waterproof rating of IP68.
And they all also have a 2-year
warranty. A really cool feature these
lights all have are these daytime
running lights. As you can see there
that they're on. It's a kind of amber X
pattern going on. And they happen on all
of the lights. No matter if they're
amber, white, and even on all sizes,
they all come like this, which is really
cool. And as you can see there, you can
tie them all in together. So, how I
control all these lights is via the OX
beam switch panel here, as you can see.
So, I wired all the daytime running
lights together. And then the cubes that
you see there are the ditch lights. And
then you have the bumper, which are the
big white lights, the 7-in lights, and
then the amber are the 5-in lights. So,
as you saw there, the daytime running
lights look really well. And as you saw
just how I wired them, I wired all six
lights on the same switch. So, just with
one push of a button, they all turn on
at the same time. Now, but not only do
the daytime running lights look good,
but also the lights housing themselves
design, I think they look really sleek
and really good-looking. The materials
of the actual housings, like they have
weight to them when you're installing
them. They don't feel cheap. But
obviously, the main purpose of lighting
is how their light performance is. And
for that, we're just going to wait for
it to get dark to show you what these
are all about. Well, as you can see, it
is much darker here. It's about an hour,
hour and a half after sunset. Uh the
camera makes it look a little brighter
than it actually is. So, currently,
we're going to have our benchmark with
the headlights currently on, as you can
see there, and then we're going to go
kind of one by one to showcase each
light. So, we're going to first start
off showcasing the 3-in pods, as you can
see, that I have mounted as my ditch
lights. So, currently, for reference,
the only thing on are my headlights and
only the low beams of the headlights.
And I'm going to turn it on while
filming so you guys can see the
difference in real time. There you go.
Those are the 3-in currently on. You can
see the has a really nice straight beam
going on. But what's really cool about
all these V series lights in all the
sizes, I'm going to cover it up with my
finger and my thumb here. They have
these side lights on both the left and
right side of the housing that also
shoot farther out and have a really nice
spread to the light. So, you can see the
main beam pattern is right there. But,
if we come over here all the way this
way, you see all that light. I'm going
to toggle the light on and off so you
can really get a feel for how bright
they are. There's with no light. There's
with the light. And again, the main beam
is, you can see, focusing over here, but
yet you get all the way this way. You
have all this light here. So, moving on
now to the 5- in V Ultra series lights,
which on my truck they are amber. Again,
any of these V ultra light series,
whether it's the 3, 5 in, or 7 in, they
come with either a white lens or an
amber lens. And personally, for my
preference and my setup, I went with the
amber lens for the 5 in. So, again, for
reference, currently it's just the low
beam of the headlights currently on. And
I'm going to switch on the ambers.
And there you go. Again, these are the
two ambers that are currently on. You
can see they have a really nice beam to
them. And again, just like the three
inches, they have these side LEDs on the
side that put out a really nice side
light. So, not only do you get a really
good beam up front, you also get all
this section out here, you can see how
far it's lit with just those side LEDs.
And I'm going to toggle it on and off
here so you can really see how much
wider you get. You can see for
reference, those are where the
headlights reach.
And that's now how far just the ambers
reach. And again, you get a way, it
basically drowns out the headlights. And
the color of the ambers are a really
nice yellow. It's not too dark of a
color or too bright. It's just kind of
just right.
I'm also going to toggle here the
headlights off for you guys so you can
see without any headlights.
just turned off the headlights. So now
it's simply just the 5 in in amber. And
of course when running any amber light,
technically they produce a little less
light than the white light. So just keep
that in mind with getting either a white
or amber, but amber is better cutting
through dust and you know snow. Moving
on to the final light, which is the 7
in, which is the largest V ultra series
you can get light you can get. And mine
again are white for reference. Again,
low beams, headlights, and we're gonna
turn them on.
And you can just see how bright they
are. The camera probably doesn't do it
justice of how bright this is, but these
things are bright. Again, turn it on and
off there. And again, same thing with a
really nice beam pattern. So, I'm going
to turn it off. You can see how much
wider
it shines over just the headlights
because when I turn it off, you can see
that's just the low beams there and how
much further it shines out. But they are
extremely bright. Now, I wanted to show
an aerial view of the lights
performance. I'm parked on this power
line road so you can see the power poles
light up as I turn on and off my high
beams as a reference.
So, we're first going to start off
showcasing the 3-in pod lights, which I
have as my ditch lights. So, you can see
all fully lit there, the main beam
pattern, and then also the nice spread
that they offer. Going to toggle on and
off here. So, you can see the before and
after with no ditch lights. Moving
forward, we're going to do the 5-in
ambers. As you can see, they have a
really nice beam pattern going forward,
as well as that really nice side
lighting that all these V Ultra series
offer. For reference, the only other
light I have currently on are just my
low beams for my headlights. Again, you
can see how bright they are shining all
those power poles. Moving forward, last
but not least, we have the 7in white
lights, the big boys, and you can see
how bright these things are. Now, I
don't know if you see all the way down
that hill that's being illuminated. That
hill is 6 miles away and it is fully
illuminating that hill off in the
distance. So, you can really see how
bright those 7in lights are. Again,
still has a really good nice wide
pattern to them that has that same
output that puts the lights out to the
side. And how freaking bright they are.
all those power poles lighting up all
the way back to that hill that again is
6 mi away. Now I'm going to demonstrate
with turning all the lights on at once.
Starting with the 3-in 7 in and then
finally the 5- in ambers. As you can
see, all the lights are currently on.
I'm going to turn off my low beams
there. And you can see this is just the
V Ultra series. All the lights turned
on. Turned on my low beams and on and
off. So you can see the difference. This
just goes to show you, you don't need an
entire roof rack full of lights in order
to light up the night. This is just
simply with six V Ultra series lights.
And you can see just how bright it is.
