North Georgia Overlanding | Charlie's Creek

foreign [Music] [Music] what's going on guys we are back with another video and today we're up camping up in Georgia at Chestnut Mountain we came in super late last night around 2 30 in the morning with from being delayed with the fog and everything so as you can see it's still super duper foggy we got about seven rigs that we're going to be camping throughout the weekend with so it's going to be good times um so let's go let's go hit some trails and see what we find yeah let's get into it hey Brayden coming down these rocks you're going to want to stay to the right do not follow my line decided to take a little bit of a detour here so you technically could just go around this little section but figured why not there's some rocks um a little bit of a downtown then there's a little bit of a descent so see what the ranger can do eats it up nice and easy you guys can get better so definitely has melted a lot more since last night but do have some ice to the left as we finished our way coming down from Chestnut Mountain we made our way onto the well-known Charlie's Creek [Music] [Music] good old check the truck Crossing [Music] little uphill with some slick Rock [Music] [Music] [Music] foreign [Music] [Applause] [Music] [Music] foreign [Music] [Music] [Music] foreign [Music] we finally were met with pavement and after a few miles we were greeted by the sunshine after a very wet day we continued our way down the winding Back Country Roads of Georgia until we were finally back on the forest gravel roads [Music] we were headed to a camp spot by local Georgia friends and found inside the Chattahoochee National Forest [Music] alrighty guys we just pulled into camp and as you can hear behind us we got a beautiful Creek here going along back a nice little fireplace over there that I'll show you that actually has two um Stone seats that somebody made super nice got the tent popped open already because it's wet from all the rain and fog that we had this morning and really had no time to dry it so air drying it out now and we got everybody else yeah getting set up and situated now should be a fun rest on night so we're gonna finish getting set up here and uh probably get some dinner going so see you guys in a few [Music] alrighty so we're making some tortellini [Music] fresh kind and we decided we were going to do it today we're going to do uh steaks but we passed by a local General store and they had homemade uh pasta sauce so it smells really good so we wanted to give this a try so we glad we brought pasta so we're gonna try it out and see how good it is [Music] so we uh foreign good morning just woke up a little while ago had breakfast just finished packing up the ranger last night was really fun hanging out with everybody and uh having that Creek in the background boy was that great as you see a new white ranger has appeared that's Seth he joined us last night around 10 o'clock at night he pulled up he is a two-wheel drive pretty much an FX2 two-wheel drive Ranger with rear Locker so he kind of the reason he's parked at such an incline there is because he kind of got stuck there in the middle of the night um when pulling in it's a really steep incline and Slick surface with all the leaves so you kind of uh got stuck there and we didn't feel like moving the rigs around after we had all set up so uh you just parked there and Camp there for the night so we're probably gonna have to pull them out here momentarily or with traction board so we'll see how that goes foreign [Music] [Music] foreign foreign [Music] foreign [Music] foreign campsite for the night we rode on several Trails through Cooper's Creek Wildlife Management Area nothing technical in any way but some beautiful views and a great way to end our trip [Music] foreign [Music] [Music] if you enjoyed consider subscribing for more Overland and off-road adventures and I'll see you guys in the next video foreign [Music]
