All right guys so today we are heading to Italy.
So we just landed in Milan, Italy. On this Italy trip we're actually going to be exploring Milan,
Venice and Lake Como. Wow, I was not expecting to be blown away by Lake Como.
So keep watching, it's gonna be a fun one. Let's go!
So we're currently here at the car rental office because for this Italy trip we actually rented
a car. Instead of taking the train, instead of flying, we decided to just rent a car to roam
All right so we got our car, we're now heading to the city center of Milan because that's
where our accommodation is. So we'll head to our Airbnb first and relax.
All right guys so we are actually in our Airbnb now and it's actually nighttime now
and let me tell you why. All right so we actually canceled our rental car because
yeah I think we got scammed. We got a flat tire and let me tell you I got full coverage
all of it. The company did not want to replace the car, they wanted to fix it. Today is a Saturday
evening, they won't be able to fix it till Monday noon. We leave for Venice tomorrow. Guys we were
only driving for 20 minutes. Yeah and the crazy part was yes we were only driving for 20 minutes
and the tire blew. Also the rental company was not even trying to help us. They were like no we're
not going to give you a new car you'll have to wait till it gets repaired. Then I was like so
when is it going to be done and they won't answer me. This is the first time that I've heard of a
rental car company basically leaving you stranded on the side of the road. The tire they're charging
us 600 euros and the tow truck they're charging us 300 euros. We waited like five hours for the
tow truck and the most annoying part is they won't give us a replacement. When the tow truck driver
came he had one look at the tire and he's like oh. We had suspicions that we got scammed and
the tow truck driver confirmed it. We got scammed. We got scammed.
This was the moment it all sank in. You're probably thinking why didn't they just take the train?
Honestly same. Looking back taking the train with both a Eurail pass and a Swiss travel pass would
have saved us a lot of stress and probably a few arguments with the rental car company.
Unlimited access to scenic trains, buses, boats, even free mountain excursions. Basically all the
good stuff without the car drama. It's reliable, eco-friendly, and honestly way more scenic than
highway traffic. And the best part is you can book it all straight from the Klook app. It's
super easy and takes the stress out of planning especially when crossing countries. Use our code
at checkout to get discounts on travel products across Europe from trains to attractions and more.
Skip the car drama, get the Swiss travel pass. Thanks to Klook for sponsoring this part of the
video. Anyway so let's get some pizza, pasta, and let's go enjoy Milan. I'm stressing. Let's go.
So it is now 7 30 p.m here in central Milan and we're heading to Milan's main attraction which is
Cathedral. So after that stressful event we we need to relax right now. Yeah we need to get some
good pasta and maybe a few drinks. Yes. And I have to say the first impressions here in Milan like
everybody's dressed to the nines. I know. Like I wish I had a little bit more time to get ready but
you know. I feel so undressed right now. Anyway so let's go see the most famous attraction here in Milan.
Let's go. I cannot believe I'm in Milan right now. So we're almost at the cathedral but on the way
there there's like a shopping center which is like all high-end. So I'm not stressed anymore.
I mean how can you be stressed when you're in Milan? Yeah oh my gosh this place is incredible.
Coming from Paris like it's so different. I love the architecture in Paris but there's
just something about Milan that is just so luxurious.
So we are now in front of the main attraction here in Milan like I said earlier which is the
The architecture and how it's just built is just insane.
While we were walking to the Italian restaurant we're gonna eat out for dinner
we passed by a Jollibee. To all my Filipinos out there they got Jollibee here if you need it.
All right so for dinner we found a restaurant it's called Ristorante Pizzeria.
Ristorante Pizzeria Dogana. No say it with accent it sounds better. Ristorante Pizzeria.
I don't want to offend anyone.
So our food is here and it looks amazing it smells amazing. I love Italian food especially
in Italy. Got the seafood spaghetti my dad got the lamb chop and got a margherita pizza. A whole
margherita pizza to myself. Yes let's give it a go. Oh yeah pizza is hitting right now oh my gosh
This is like my favorite in Italy their seafood pasta look at that got some calamari and some shrimp.
Good morning so today we're actually leaving Milan and we're heading to Venice and Ann and
I we decided to push through with the road trip so we actually rented another car with a different
agency and luckily all went well fingers crossed so if you guys are booking a car here in Europe
definitely book at your own risk but before we leave I just wanted to shout out our Airbnb because
it is in central Milan. The location is just so perfect so if you guys are heading to Milan we
highly highly recommend this Airbnb put her link in the description of this video. Anyways let's
go to Venice let's go. On the way to Venice now but we have to stop on the side of the road to
just something small just some light snack
We made it to Venice we're actually gonna park our car here for two nights so if you're driving
a car to Venice you can park at Tronchetto parking I'm just not too sure how much it is
from what I read online I believe it's 20 euros per night yeah anyways let's grab our stuff and
we'll head to our Airbnb then we explore Venice
Back in Venice so we're staying on the island of Gideca if you didn't know already Venice
actually consists of many islands and we're staying on the island of Gideca
look at the view to get to our Airbnb it's beautiful
Good morning first full day here in Venice and first stop is St. Mark's Square which is the heart
of Venice
We head to Mark's Square we're actually gonna get some breakfast first we found this bakery
near our Airbnb and they have like Italian sandwiches and coffee
so we have to get some breakfast before we start the day
Cheers second time in Venice
All right guys like I said yesterday we're actually staying on the island of Gideca and to
get to St. Mark's Square we gotta take their Vaporetto which is a water taxi buy your ticket
press it buy your ticket obviously the best way to get around Venice by water if you're staying
for two days you can buy this two days ticket for 48 hours and it costs 35 euros per person
since we're only here for the one full day we're just buying this which is daily pass Venice one
day for 24 hours which is 25 euros per person so we finally made it here at St. Mark's Square
and we're already seeing so many stalls that sell bags and other cool souvenirs so we're probably
gonna shop a little bit because last time we were here I don't think we got anything actually yeah
but they have a lot of really cool souvenirs here I especially love the bags because they look very
vintage so I might finally get one the small ones are about 10 euros and the bigger ones are 15 euros
so pretty affordable and then they have like yeah they have like really cool quirky bags and souvenirs
this is so sick so we literally just got here and we're already shopping for souvenirs because
there's so many once you get off the boat my parents are now getting some fridge magnets
it's typical souvenir oh yeah that is really cute why don't you get this
my dad's also getting a hat we're shopping today we're shopping we just got here
I don't know I don't think he likes it so lately during our Europe trip John and I have been
collecting like paintings and like prints and stuff from all of our travels because after the
wedding we're gonna be moving in together so we want like a collection of prints and thank you so
much thank you we got one we got one here in Venice and she does all the paintings and they're
so cute I'm actually quite happy with this because we bought one in Paris we bought one in Greece
yeah now we have one in Italy yeah sorry I should have said that better earlier yeah I have ADHD I
can't multitask what I was trying to say is that after the wedding John and I are gonna be moving
in together and we want to fill our home with like paintings from all over the world so yeah we've
recently been collecting paintings prints and all that from our Europe series and hopefully more to
come but yeah we're really happy with the one we got because it was exactly what I was envisioning
all right so we're here now at the heart of Venice which is Saint Mark's Square and behind me
is Saint Mark's Basilica which is the iconic cathedral here in Venice so we're walking to
Rialto Bridge now which is the oldest bridge here in Venice and the most iconic I think also my
favorite part of just walking around Venice is actually just walking through the alleys yeah
getting lost in the alleys you just never know what you'll find every corner is so picturesque
and dude nothing beats the architecture here and I love the vibrant colors of them as well
yeah it's so beautiful so we're here now the iconic Rialto Bridge we have this at BGC though
yeah but we have this in the Philippines you know not a big deal I'm just kidding they always make
like a replica of this everywhere yeah so being here seeing the real thing once again it's just
just a good feeling we're on top of Rialto Bridge even though there's no sun it still looks like a
painting it looks incredible that's so funny because that's exactly what we said last time
being on top of Rialto Bridge overlooking the Grand Canal it legit looks like a painting it
doesn't look real something straight out of a movie straight out of a painting like it's actually
like you have to be here to believe it so right now we're just chilling waiting for our gondola
ride so this time I actually booked a private gondola for Ann and my parents last time we were
here we booked a shared one yeah so while we're waiting for our gondola we actually decided to
get some tiramisu some dessert look at that he's making it for us crazy that's delicious
you like that that's really good so we're finally gonna get on the gondola obviously you have to do
a gondola ride like it's the ultimate Venice experience a lot of people are like oh it's
just a gondola ride it's a gondola ride in Venice welcome to Venice
all right guys welcome to Venice
all right we're now on the gondola literally cruising
yeah in the canals it's so peaceful too so quiet how was that parents it's nice to be here it's
beautiful so this is the lunch of choice this is the restaurant I have no idea how to say it so
there you go we've actually been here before this is our second time here and it's pretty good
do you like this restaurant yes that's why we're back all right so we got our pizza
look at this I don't even know what it's called I actually just pointed at the picture
but it looks so good oh my gosh
good morning today we're actually leaving Venice and we're heading to
Lake Como but before we uh leave let me show you our Airbnb real quick here in Venice we
highly highly recommend this one it's beautiful let me show you a quick room tour
so like I said we are staying on the island of Gudeca which is just one water taxi away from
St. Mark's Square which is the heart of Venice pretty good location let me start it off with
our kitchen look at this so spacious back here we have our living room and over here we got the tv
bathroom and a nice room and then my parents room right here so if you guys are interested in
staying in this Airbnb as well we'll put all of their link in the description of this video
anyways let's head to Lake Como let's go all right guys so update we are 40 minutes away
from Lake Como we just gasped up and stopped on the side of the road but check this view out
look at this lake this isn't Lake Como yet it's a different lake but
wow it is so gorgeous out here look at the landscape got the lake got the mountains
it is stunning and we're driving along the coast as well it's gorgeous we are we are on our way
to our Airbnb now we're 40 minutes away to Lake Como so before we uh got our Airbnb we actually
got hungry so we found a pizza place on the side of the road apparently it's pretty good it's called
time pizza look how affordable pizzas are here in Italy you can live off this we got three pizzas
to go and look at our view oh my gosh oh yes so we made it to our Airbnb it's right here and
right behind it it's beautiful Lake Como look at that so gorgeous so this is home for the night
all right guys look at our Airbnb so it has two bedrooms so we got our living room look how
spacious it is TV got our kitchen table and then our kitchen is right here oh my gosh how stunning
is that and then we got a balcony Lake Como is just right there damn what a beautiful place
the room this is Anna and I's room right here the room over here this is where my parents are staying
so yeah this is home in Lake Como all of the places we're staying in this video if you guys
want to check them out it'll be in the description of the video there's people kite surfing over there
I love how there's like mountains in the back and there's there's still snow on them as well
oh this place is something else all right guys so time to explore a little bit of Lake Como we're
actually here at one of their most popular town which is Minaggio and guys this area kind of
reminds me of the Amalfi Coast so obviously we got Lake Como right here and then we got some mountains
and then the town wow I was not expecting to be blown away by Lake Como
but it is absolutely stunning out here what a gorgeous lake and what a gorgeous town
all right guys in Lake Como you actually won't see Ann much she's behind the camera today
she's actually sick so I'm gonna let her rest and I'm not gonna let her vlog
now we're just saying that this town looks exactly like Amalfi
also here in Italy looks exactly like it
babe I think we need this do we have room in our luggage
look how cute that is big ass lemon
guys look at the plates
this is uh if you're smoking you know an ashtray for I don't know like
soy sauce or something but this all right someone get your teddy bear because he's done
so from what I read online Lake Como has two famous towns which is Minaggio
the town we're currently at and also Bellagio and to get to Bellagio from Minaggio we actually have
to take a ferry and I believe it's only 10 to 15 minutes to get there so we're actually
going to do that right now so we can check out Bellagio as well so we're clearly lined up now
about to board our ferry to Bellagio so we paid around nine euros per person round trip
10 minute ferry ride later we made it here to Bellagio definitely way busier here than
Minaggio but the views once again are stunning this is definitely a must do if you're in Italy
all right so Bellagio definitely reminds me of Positano with some steep alleyways that go
straight up and so the little nooks and alleys here are so pretty and there's so many like
local boutiques and there's just so much souvenirs that you can buy as well so Ann and I are
currently lined up for some gelato apparently this is a pretty popular spot here has a few
thousand reviews it's called Gelateria di Borgo
let's give this a go pistachio I got pistachio and coconut
oh yeah oh that's good yeah that's definitely worth the hype 10 out of 10 this is delicious
all right guys just finished dinner it's delicious but this is where we end the Italy vlog
as always thank you all so much for watching we do hope you enjoyed it don't forget to like share
and subscribe and we'll see you in the next one peace
