And then they threatened to sue everyone who published these photographs.
Hi and welcome to Flossum Talk. I'm Saskia Floor, journalist, Hollywood truth teller,
and your voice of reason in a town built on delusion.
Okay, first of all, I have to correct myself from something I did yesterday,
which I find really funny, actually, because I had no idea that this meant this thing.
So I was reading up one of the Live List posts or a story that she did when she talked about
what she did during Christmas, basically explaining what her heaven is. And that was,
amongst other things, drinking a glass of milk with ice cubes in it. And then she added in
brackets, IYKYK. And I pronounce that YYKYKY or something like that. I thought she added that
as a Yake kind of comment that it's some people might not like that idea. And then a lot of you
explained to me in the comment section what this actually stands for, which is, if you know,
you know. And obviously, I didn't know. So I didn't pronounce it even right. Talk about boomerang
making myself look like an idiot. I laughed so hard when I saw the first person say,
you know, that means if you know, you know. So now I know. So if you think I don't know,
you know, I know. Anyways, I love when you guys are correcting me. And sometimes I pronounce
things really weird because I'm from Norway, and I don't always know the right or correct
pronunciation. So I really appreciate when you do that. And it makes me laugh sometimes
because you have to laugh at yourself. Anyways, tomorrow is the last day of 2025. So I thought
this would be a great opportunity to look back at some of the things that came back to haunt Blake
Lively in 2025. These are things that very likely will be used against her in during the trial,
just like her attorneys have been trying to bring Justin Baldoni's pass back, the Wayfair
Party's attorneys are going to do the same thing to Blake Lively. So let's go through some of the
things that might come up during trial and bite her in the butt. I think one of the craziest
things that came back to haunt Blake Lively is the fact that her and Ryan Reynolds got married
on a plantation. This was in 2012. And they came out and apologized for this and said,
hey, we didn't really know. And this was kind of tone deaf of us. Yes, it was. And a lot of people
reacted to it then. And now it's coming back to haunt them again. And people started talking again,
especially after Jamie Heath's deposition was unsealed, where we see his side of the story
when he entered Blake Lively's trailer. As we know, Jamie Heath is black. And a lot of people
reacted to the fact that Blake Lively was criticizing him for looking her in the eye.
She told him to turn against the wall and look against the wall. And that just didn't sit well,
especially considering her past of getting married on a plantation. And of course, this
came back to haunt her as well, where she was on stage with the rest of the cast from Gossip Girl.
And she pointed out that Leighton Meester was born in a cage. Leighton Meester's mom gave birth to her
in prison. And of course, Blake Lively had to point that out in front of a live audience,
something that people thought was extremely ruthless and just mean. Also, another big story
broke of Blake Lively's company Preserve, a total disaster. So she started this company basically
because she was inspired by Goop and she wanted to be the next Gwyneth Paltrow. And it was a
complete catastrophe. And someone did a deep dive into this company. And some of the ex-employees
came out and spoke about it. And it wasn't pretty, saying that according to multiple
employees, behind the scenes was nothing but chaos, with some pointing out the irony
of the entitled movie star's current lawsuit. They all described this workplace as completely toxic,
and they were paid off not to talk about it. Apparently, Leslie Sloan was out there trying to
kill stories of how much of a disaster this company was. Also, some of the clothing and some
of the products that she was pushing was inspired by a time where there were actually plantations.
And people were like, what are you doing? Apparently, this company was run by her brother
Eric, and he didn't do much. He was just drinking alcohol and smoking all day. And people didn't get
paid. It was horrible. And then Ryan Reynolds came in and he bossed around and yelled at people and
Blake Lively really showed up. Yeah, and of course, as we know now, the company didn't survive for
very long. And when her company failed, this is so funny. It says here that Preserve's failure was
blamed on sexism and the media by Lively in a previous interview. And she said, you don't see
male entrepreneurs pitted against each other, destroyed, picked apart, and every word they say
served up to judge. Yeah, doesn't that sound familiar? Anyways, of course, things that happened
in this company were that she was running. She was the boss here. She was in power here. And all these
employees, and so many of them quit, makes it clear that this was a toxic work environment.
And of course, during a trial, if they ask her about this, it's just gonna make her look terrible
because comparing this work environment to the work environment on It Ends With Us makes It
Ends With Us look like a cupcake. And of course, another story that came up to bite Blake in the
butt this year is the fact that she improvised grabbing Henry Golding by the crotch. This was
during filming of A Simple Favor. And there was like this behind the scenes video that some
amazing internet suit found online, where Blake Lively is talking to Paul Feig, the director,
and they're discussing the different scenes. And they're talking about how she improvised
this scene. And on top of that, as you know, Justin Baldoni released a video where he said
that Blake Lively had improvised kissing him. So that adds up to all the things that can be used
against Blake. And as you know, she doesn't have any evidence for SH. So when a jury is showed
this kind of footage, what are they going to think? Also, another behind the scenes video that
shocked people to the core this year was when Ryan Reynolds and the director of Deadpool,
Sean Levy, was talking about a scene from Deadpool where Ryan Reynolds used his daughter,
Ines. She was nine at the time. And they were laughing about the fact that Ryan asked his own
daughter to say really R-rated stuff. And she didn't want to do that. And he said that,
I threatened her and said, if you don't do it, I'm going to find someone else who wants to do it. So
she agreed to do it. And then they laughed that she had to do this about 50 times. And what her
father told her to say was that Deadpool, who was played by her father, should take his thing
out of Wolverine's mouth. And then they were laughing about it, keeping that in mind.
And the latest story that just broke that Justin Baldoni had told Blake Lively in front of Ryan
Reynolds and other people that he was circumcised and that it made headlines everywhere. How are
you going to convince a jury that that was traumatizing for Blake and Ryan when they're
making their kids do stuff like this on movie sets? Also, Sidal, thank you for reminding me
of this story. It hasn't really been around that much this year, but I think this is another story
that can really harm Blake Lively during this trial. So in 2011, right after Blake Lively had
done The Town with Ben Affleck, there were a lot of nude photos of Blake that leaked online. These
photographs allegedly came from a hacker and a lot of online media published these. I have to say
that I feel for all women who are the victims of something like this to happen to them. But
if we put all of that aside here and look at just this story, that doesn't make much sense to me.
So when all these pictures were out there, Blake Lively's team and Leslie Sloan went bananas trying
to kill this story. And what they did was basically saying that these pictures were fake. And then
they threatened to sue everyone who published these photographs. I was doing a lot of googling
this morning on these photos, and it's really hard to find. They've been really successful at
scraping the internet for these images. And I'm thinking, if they were fake anyways, then why would
you make such an effort scraping them? So OK Magazine did a story back then where they interviewed
an industry insider. And he said, I would say 90% is an orchestrated attempt or act on her part
to raise her profile. His name is Joe Francis, and he's the founder of Girl Gone Wild. And he is 90%
sure that Blake Lively leaked those photos herself. We've seen a lot of this happening
in Hollywood. And we've seen a lot of the times when this happens, like Kim Kardashian, Paris Hilton,
Pamela Anderson, when things like this leak, it could bring that person's fame to the next level.
And that's exactly what this guy is saying about these photos of Blake Lively. She is saying that
they are fake. And then I actually saw this article on TMZ, where they're comparing a photo
of Blake where she has this tattoo from when she was shooting the town, this little star or whatever
it is near her collarbone. And in the photo, that same star is there. So that means that she probably,
if it was her, allegedly, we don't know, took those photos. She did that during the filming of
the town, which also makes sense with all the rumors that were swirling around this time that
she had allegedly an affair with Ben Affleck. And she sent those photos to him. I've heard people say
that Jennifer Garner found these photos and she leaked them. I'm not sure if I believe that. I
assume again, this is Leslie Sloan. She said that Blake has never taken nude photos of herself and
will pursue legal actions against the publication, which initially published these photographs and
other outlets that republish them in any manner. That never happened as far as we know, but I think
the photographs disappeared. But anyways, this guy is continuing. He says that I think it's a smart
move. This will make her desirable. He explains that it's working because it's getting wide
coverage. This may be what she needed to get her name out there. He believes the photos will help
boost Blake's appeal and her public profile. Anyways, he says that she has nothing to worry
about because she looks fantastic. What a dumb comment, by the way, then you don't get it.
But anyways, and at this time, Blake was rumored to be dating Leonardo DiCaprio and there were
some photographs of her and Leo on this yacht and she looked stressed out. Anyways, TMZ did an update
on this story where they point out that this hacker had published more photographs and he did
this after they denied that the photos were real. And according to TMZ, he posted new pictures
with a warning saying, oh yes, Blake's rep, these are totally fake. We really, really believe you.
What more? Two of the pictures show a woman holding an iPhone and it sure looks like Blake.
Yes, I don't want to throw any shade at a woman experiencing something like this, but if Blake
was behind it herself, I remember I spoke to an insider about this. He used to work for a magazine,
a very prominent magazine, and he mentioned this story and he said to me back then that these were
photos that Blake had sent to Ben Affleck. As I said, I don't know if that's true or not,
but I do find it weird that it was never confirmed if these pictures were real or not. And apparently
Hollywood didn't believe it either because Reese Witherspoon went on the MTV Movie Awards that year
and she mentioned it in her speech in a very snarky way. I came up in this business,
if you made a sex tape, you were embarrassed and you hid it under your bed.
And like if you took naked pictures of yourself on your cell phone, you hide your face, people,
like hide your face. Yeah, she also made fun of Kim Kardashian here, but that other comment
was definitely for Blake. Yes, hide your face if you're going to do stuff like that.
Anyways, of course, these are things that are going to be brought up in trial. And when Blake
is on the stand and have to talk about this incident as well, you know, did you take those
photos of yourself? Did you send them to someone? Yes, she's going to have to answer those kind of
questions because it is in the Wayfarer Party's interest to take away all her credibility of how
she was harmed by Justin Baldoni and Jamie Heath on the set of It Ends With Us. Yes, so Blake,
you better be prepared for this kind of stuff. Anyways, before I go, thank you, Darla, for
sending me this video again. I haven't seen this in a while either. And this reminds me of the
video I showed a clip of yesterday when Blake Lively's interviewed by Forbes magazine. And she
talks about how she accepts a role as an actress, but her plan is always to get ownership. And this
video as well, where she was interviewed on the red carpet by Sky News for the premiere of It
Ends With Us. She said this. I'm not the type of actor who can act without producing, you know,
like I can't, you can't just put me in any clothes and give me any words and have me step in and
transform. And I used to be very insecure about that. I used to like, feel like an imposter,
because I would watch actors who were just shapeshifters, they could do it in any
circumstance. And then I realized that half of the actors that I admire most were people who
were more filmmakers or people who had to get their hands in the storytelling and the writing
and the creating and the environment and people that I respected so much. And I was like, okay,
there's two different categories. And I'm in this category. And that's okay. So once I
started embracing that and leaning into it, and not feeling embarrassed about it,
I think I was able to do the best work. And so that's why I'm so proud of this film.
Yes, at first, she was insecure about taking ownership. But now she's not anymore.
And she doesn't mind if she has to put the director of the movie in the basement of his
own career. Anyways, that's it for you guys. I hope you enjoyed this episode. It's been a
quiet week. And I feel like it's leading up to a lot of action next week. As I said yesterday,
we are waiting for a lot of evidence to get unsealed. And I will be on top of everything
as usual. So stay tuned for that. And of course, if you haven't subscribed,
please do and hit the notification bell so you never miss an episode of Flossom Talk.
And I'll see you soon. Bye!
