This week on Smartest Girl in the World, Nivine is on a mission: rage-bait Jason with the internet’s most unhinged viral questions. Afterwards the two dive into your listener submissions — including whether a guy is secretly not that into you if he ghosts every weekend, if wanting a “just checking in” text is actually controlling or just… being a human, and the surprisingly divided debate of the week: is dating your stalker really that bad?

To start the holiday season, I have a little gift for you.
Okay.
It's over there. Hold on.
It's small.
Is it a food dehydrator?
Is that what you want?
I thought about it last night because I've been buying these dried strawberries
and they're kind of expensive.
It's the only thing that I can eat at night to keep my intake down.
My calories, guys.
Dried strawberries.
Not the freeze-dried.
They're dried wet strawberries.
So they're kind of expensive.
Like 20 bucks a pound.
So then I thought, well, maybe I could buy a food dehydrator and put strawberries in there.
But then I was like, well, if I got a food dehydrator, does that make me like a prepper?
You know, like somebody that's like getting ready for the end of the world.
You get a food dehydrator.
Next thing you know, you got a bunker.
People are fighting over it.
There's only six spots.
You got to choose which friends are going to be in there.
Yeah.
I know that you're always going to David's and dropping things.
Sure.
You did not get me a fanny pack.
I got you your own tote bag.
Oh my God.
That's so cool.
So you can put your cards.
Oh.
It says Nash.
So everyone will know it's yours.
Wow.
I love it.
It's like small, but I think it's like.
It's really nice.
I love the color blue.
Yeah.
Blue and white.
Oh, I love a tote.
It's just a little your own tote.
I know I've been giving you my little pickle totes, but this one's just for you.
Oh, thank you, honey.
All right.
I'm going to get you something for next week.
Yeah, we should get gifts.
Okay.
Every day.
You guys heard him, right?
Every day, he said.
Every day.
All right, ladies and gentlemen, here she is.
The one and only most beautiful woman in the world.
The smartest woman in the world.
The best person in terms of making steak bowls, as far as I've seen.
Also incredible at knowing when I'm hungry and feeding me.
Also great at designing my looks, giving me a lot of looks for not a lot of money.
She's got all your relationship needs right here.
And she's going to answer all your questions today.
Here she is.
The smartest girl in the world.
That was beautiful.
Let's talk about you today, darling.
It's Christmas.
We're upstairs today.
Isn't this nice?
Naveen made a call.
I really had a vision.
I woke up one day and I said, it needs to be more us and more us.
I love your podcast studio.
I think it's like perfect.
I should just maybe walk around and show people how my butt's always hanging out
because I don't wear a belt.
Yeah.
Something like that, you mean?
Yeah, exactly.
Anytime I'm down, sometimes there's like two corners in the house that I'll look at
and I'll be like, wow, it's that and this.
Yeah, this is nice, Naveen.
It makes me happy.
Oh good, I'm so glad.
Yeah, I love what you did here with the books.
There used to just be a circular desk with stuff on it.
Yeah, it was just a Bowflex back there.
There's nothing.
Which was, yeah.
But I saw that Bowflex and I said, I have a vision.
Yeah, Naveen really came in and she did this place around,
which I so appreciate.
And that is the one thing that I really admire in all the women I've ever known,
and especially you.
A woman's touch.
A woman's touch is just unreal.
I can't do it.
Even like your ex-wife's house is like wonderful.
Oh, she's immaculate.
I just think sometimes a woman's vision is really good.
Oh yeah, yeah.
Her house is incredible.
And you know who's really funny?
Who?
David is.
He's gotten into this.
He's gotten a woman's touch.
He has like a little woman's touch about him.
Oh, does he decorate?
So funny.
Oh my God, so funny.
He'll be like, I was thinking about maybe extending over here,
possibly bringing in more light.
You're like, oh, David.
You know?
Yeah.
It's cute.
How would you feel about me grabbing my coffee?
Please.
Oh, is it that kind of show where we can just really just vibe and relax?
I want it to feel relaxed.
This is how Jason and I talk to each other every day.
We have discussions like this.
Okay, hold on.
Let me bend down and get my coffee.
I want you to get cozy because today's vibe, it's all about rage baiting men.
Oh, okay.
So, okay, ready?
And you guys can ask your significant other these same questions if they're a man.
Is this distracting if I do this the whole show?
Yeah.
Because Quentin Tarantino might call you, take you right from me.
Yeah, he's a big feet guy.
Okay, Jason.
If you don't do feet, okay, you're not doing my movies.
Okay, go.
Do you agree that women mature faster?
100%.
Yeah?
Yeah.
100%.
So why do you challenge women when you know we're smarter and more right?
I don't think those two things are correlated at all, maturity and being right.
It's close.
Nice try.
Okay.
Nice try.
Do you love me?
Yes.
If I woke up tomorrow.
Yeah.
And I turned into a man.
Yeah.
Like I just woke up and I was like, Jason, I'm a man now.
I don't know what happened.
I'm scared.
Okay, like overnight, you have a mustache.
Like something happened.
Muscles, yeah.
And.
Yep.
I go like this.
Do you break up with me?
Whoa.
Do I break up with you?
Yeah.
I think that would be tough for me to, yeah, keep it going.
Really?
Yeah.
I'd still like be friends with you and still.
Friend?
You're friend zoning me?
Yeah, I have to.
Okay.
I mean, what would you do?
You're crazy.
If I turned into a woman.
That would be amazing.
You'd be my best friend.
You'd be out if I turned into a woman.
No, we'd just go to the.
You're the most straight girl I've ever seen.
Yeah, but I wouldn't.
I couldn't bear like losing your personality in my life.
I wouldn't like go down on you.
We'd still be friends.
You could still do stuff to me.
I just wouldn't.
Well, again, I'm not necessarily interested in that.
So if you were a lesbian, you wouldn't want me?
You leave me to be with like some rich guy.
I'm a lesbian.
I'm a woman.
You've turned into a woman.
Okay, I'm a woman.
You're saying if we woke up and you turned into a woman,
I'm saying I would stay with you.
And you're saying you wouldn't want to.
Well, I guess it depends if what my brain is thinking.
I don't know.
I can't imagine.
I think I'd be so freaked out that I'd probably just leave town.
Where would we go?
I'd go.
I'd go live in the woods.
Okay.
Yeah, a woman in the woods.
What's the worst that could happen?
Maybe become a nun.
Yes, you could be around other women.
I see what's going on here.
You're such a pervert.
Take it easy.
Who's the priest that got caught?
Okay, so you wake up.
Another wake up one.
This is the last one I'll do.
And then we'll go to real questions.
Okay, because I'm furious right now.
You've rage baited me.
This one's going to cause a stir.
Before me, think of the last person you slept with.
Okay.
Intimately.
Okay.
Who is it?
I'm just kidding.
Okay, think of the last person you slept with.
If you woke up tomorrow, and whoever that person is and me switched bodies,
but our personalities were the same, who would you be with?
I'd go where the personality was.
So you like the other girl's body more than mine?
What is this?
What kind of podcast is this?
So you like the other girl's body more than mine?
No, I like your body, but personality is more important.
100%.
So you would sleep with her?
Just because she was smart and funny like me?
You said, who would I be with?
You didn't say who would I sleep with?
Well, you'd be with the person you're sleeping with.
Well, yeah, I'd go where you were.
If you were in another body, huh?
You wouldn't miss my looks?
Yeah, of course I'd miss your looks.
I would obviously pick your personality.
That's what goes longer.
That's what keeps me here is your personality, not your looks.
Yeah, good try though.
We're going to use our questions.
Okay.
My husband says he feels controlled because I ask him to text me whenever he gets home.
Is that dramatic or am I controlling?
From a male's perspective.
If I was like, hey, every time you get home, can you text me that you go at home?
It's a woman asking or a man asking?
A woman asking about her husband.
Her husband wants her to text?
She wants her husband to text and he says that's too controlling.
Oh, and he says that's too controlling.
No, I think that's okay to ask.
I feel like that's fine.
Yeah, I mean, it's like if you're going to get married to somebody, that comes with it.
If you're going to be in someone's life, the more you do that, the more you check in,
the more you let them know, I'm on my way and stuff like that.
I feel like that creates a much better bond.
Yeah, you're making the person feel comfortable, I guess.
Yeah, and without it, you guys might drift apart.
It really is the little things.
It's like, hey, I'm at Trader Joe's.
Do you want anything?
Little things like that.
Oh, you're such a pro.
You know what I mean?
Yeah.
Hey, sorry that took so long.
I'm on my way.
That's cute.
I have those all queued up in my phone.
Yeah, you have them custom.
Yeah, custom little, I call them quellers.
Oh, good word.
I actually have some chips coming out next year called quellers.
It's a good chip?
Yeah, yeah, yeah.
Okay, there's a girl who's-
Where?
She's talking to a guy.
Yeah.
And everything about him is great.
Okay.
Monday through Friday, he's like super responsive.
He makes plans, like dinner on the weekdays and stuff.
He's a wild man on the weekends.
But on the weekends, he does not talk to her and never wants to see her on the weekend.
Bad news.
That's bad news, Bear.
Yeah.
Where is he?
Football?
He loves football that much?
He plays pickleball on the weekends?
He's got flag football?
What's he doing?
I mean, no matter what he's doing, I feel like even when Jason and I first started dating,
I would say he was pretty busy, but he would be like, oh, I have to go shoot something.
And then I'd be like, oh, okay, cool.
And then I'd start to make plans with my friends.
And then you'd be like, but I'm done at 7, so I could be at yours at 8.
And I made two reservations at 8.30.
So it's like if someone wants to see you, even if they're busy, they'll find like a window.
Sure, sure.
So maybe just ask him.
Well, where is he?
Yeah, it depends.
Like, where does he go?
My first guess would be he's...
He wants to party with his friends on the weekend.
Yeah.
Ready?
One, two, three.
Something shady.
That's fun.
It comes across the screen.
Something shady.
Why do guys love to text all the time, but don't want a relationship?
They're bored.
Texting is no...
You need no effort.
You need no commitment.
You could be on the toilet and text someone.
Yeah, a little text is nice too.
It's like, oh, I'm talking to somebody, but I don't have to do anything actually.
Yeah, I could see that.
I think what happens when you're single is you're like, oh, you're single.
You're like, all right, all right, all right.
And then this innate loneliness kicks in.
And then you're just like, oh my God, I'm all alone.
So then you just start texting people.
It could be a man.
It could be a woman.
You're just like, what are you doing?
And so, yeah, I think-
Could be a chat GPT robot.
Yeah, yeah.
And then also, it's also like, there might be somebody that you're like,
they're good to text with, but you don't actually want to spend time with them
because then you have to talk to them.
Interesting.
Yeah.
Or maybe they're just interested in sex.
So they're just texting to see if they can get you to have sex.
Oh.
A therapist told me a long time ago that, and this is the reason why I don't text people.
When someone likes to text, it's basically because they're like, in their head,
they're making, like, imagine I didn't meet you and I'm just texting with you.
When you say something, I can make it whatever I want it to be.
I could be like, Jason's so funny, but you didn't say something funny,
but I read it in a funny way.
Oh, yeah, yeah, yeah.
Like, so I can create you to be whoever I want you to be based on,
like an okay can mean you're pissed or an okay could be like, okay, like funny.
So you can like, it's dangerous because you don't know the person,
so you don't know their tone.
And so you're creating a false connection.
Oh my God, yeah.
When I would text with you before we were dating and stuff,
I read the situation completely wrong.
Yeah.
I would read it like so wrong and off.
And I read it like, oh, she's not interested at all.
Because I don't.
And then I've had guy friends that will be like, oh, I need someone to be like,
I need to feel that there's like banter or witty back and forth
for me to be like excited about the date.
And it's like.
Yeah, I got things to do.
I don't have time to.
You don't know.
Write you an SNL sketch.
Yeah, I'm not.
But that was one thing I noticed is people would meet me and then be like,
oh, like I didn't think you were going to be funny or I didn't.
Right, right, right.
Why?
Because I wasn't sending you jokes.
Yeah, yeah.
Because I wasn't working.
And that's crazy.
And that's really annoying is when someone's like working too hard on text.
I don't like that either.
I'm like.
Hey, save them for when we see each other.
You.
I don't need to.
You have nothing going on.
Right.
Right now.
You're just trying to sell yourself.
Right.
It's like, to me, that's like a wise guy.
Someone's too funny.
Like you're being a wise guy.
I don't know if that's the right word, but I think I know what you're trying to say.
Naveen had a funny idea the other day.
You know, when you're on speaker with somebody, but you're like, the person walks in the room
and Naveen, like you go overboard.
You'd be like, Sarah, Sarah, you're on speaker.
Jason's in the room.
And then the other person's like, wait, does Sarah talk ---- about me?
Yeah.
It's so.
Over, over alerting someone.
Yeah, yeah, yeah, yeah.
It's so funny.
It's really funny.
It's such a weird thing.
I had, um.
Todd, Naveen's in the room.
Yeah.
You're on speaker.
Okay.
He's amazing.
I thank you.
Until he drinks.
How do you bring up behavior?
Someone does only while drunk without sounding judgmental.
Well, a lot of people's personalities change when they drink and it's a real problem.
And, um, you know, most people get happy.
Not most people, but a lot of people.
But yeah, listen, if I knew somebody, if I was with somebody and they had like an alcohol
problem and their personality changed when they drank, see ya.
I would maybe suggest doing stuff that's non drinking related.
I don't know.
I'm not into like, I'm not into like changing somebody.
I'm not into putting in work and being like, so, you know, you don't always need to drink.
And maybe, maybe, maybe you can drink on Saturday, but Friday you won't have a drink.
No.
Really?
I'm on a 12 step program.
Right.
I'm not passages in Malibu.
I'm not trying to do that.
We walked by a rehab center the other day.
Naveen was like, ah, I wish I had an alcohol problem.
I'd love to go.
I need rehab so badly.
You'll get there.
They'll go, they're not addicted to anything.
I know, but I just need, um, I need a reset.
Well, yeah, you can go to like a, like a spa or something, but you don't need to go with,
you don't need to go with a bunch of drug addicts.
I want to be like the best one in the room.
You know, it's like, oh, I, I don't have a problem.
Oh my God.
Well, that, that wouldn't be very fun for you just sitting there,
listening to everybody who messed up their life and you're perfect.
What satisfaction would you get from that?
I think, uh, I don't know.
I get, give them advice.
You'd like it.
Yeah.
You do your podcast right there.
I'd be like, do you mind if we do a video podcast?
Do you love giving advice?
I love to give advice.
You do?
Yeah.
Why do you love to give advice?
I think that, um, I just think I have so much, uh, I just love problem solving.
Yes.
Okay.
Like I, I love to hear like a new problem and I'm like, oh my gosh, you could do this or this.
And like, I think it's so, um, like mathematical.
Right.
I just love it.
I love personalities and I love, like, I just love, I think it's cool.
Like if I tell someone something and it works or they're like, oh, I tried that.
And like, oh yeah, it's very satisfying to hear.
Oh yeah, yeah, yeah, yeah.
Like there's been so many situations where like a girlfriend will be like,
oh, like, I just don't think he likes me.
Blah, blah, blah, blah, blah.
And I'm like, say this.
Yeah.
And then things are great.
And they're back on track.
And it's like, it's so fun.
Naveen grabbed someone's phone the other night and started responding on a dating app for them.
Didn't you?
I did.
How'd that go?
Did you get any responses?
I don't know.
I never, I never checked out, but, uh.
What was your, what was your general tone?
Uh, just.
Were you more direct?
It's silly.
Are you free Tuesday?
Well, it should be that because what I was reading was like very.
It's Tuesday at 8 at Cipriani.
Is that what you said?
That's how it should be.
Right.
I mean.
I hate that.
Hey, hi, hello.
What's going on?
Like.
It says, it says what's going on.
It says two weeks ago.
Yeah.
It says, hey, hi, hello.
What's going on?
What's up?
Oh, nothing much.
What are you up to today?
Oh, uh, working then hitting the gym.
You?
Uh, not sure yet.
Might have dinner with friends.
Cool.
Amazing.
That was so fun.
Okay.
Bye.
Get to it.
Yeah.
Or maybe we could tell people to have like one question.
They could ask on the dating app right away to let them know.
In other words, like something that like you love.
Maybe just ask that right away.
Like for me, I'd be like, hey, do you know the band Steely Dan?
Do you like Steely Dan?
I'm only looking to bang chicks that like Steely Dan.
If it's a no.
Don't waste my time.
Yeah.
I'd say that.
Or I'd say, do you watch Curb Your Enthusiasm?
And if they said yes, then I'd be like, okay, well, this is a lead.
Okay.
That's all it takes.
Something like that.
Or I don't know, whatever you're into or whatever the person's into.
You know, you want a gun?
Maybe that's your thing.
Interesting.
Trump, yeah?
Or nay?
Nah, I don't think that should be a question.
You know?
Yeah.
Have you ever known anyone that was married to like a Republican that was married to a Democrat?
Yes.
You have?
Yeah.
And it's always.
They need a podcast.
I think that's one thing we've lost in the world.
Yeah.
Is you can think, like, I would say, like, if you had a different belief than me, right?
Yeah.
I wouldn't be like, oh, I hate you.
I'd, like, say, like, I like debate.
Like, I love to debate.
Sure, sure, sure.
I don't mind.
And my mind is forever changing, as should everyone's.
Like, you should always be learning new information and you can change your mind.
You don't have to just, like, stick with something.
Yeah, when we grew up, we'd always have people over the house that were, like,
Republican and Democrat.
And it was very, like, oh, yeah.
You know, my father would be like, he voted for Carter, you know, or whatever.
And I'd be like, oh, ha ha.
And then that would be it.
Nick Carter from Backstreet Boys?
Jimmy Carter.
I'm just kidding.
He voted for Nick Carter.
Voted for Nick Carter.
He voted for Nick Lachey.
Okay.
All right, let's keep moving.
The chairs on the show just keep getting tighter and tighter.
Pretty soon, we're just going to have one single chair, both of us.
One of us is going to crawl inside the other and puppet the other one.
Girl goes in her boyfriend's phone.
It's in the notes app.
Okay, already, she's wrong.
No, I think to look at someone's notes is crazy.
Why?
Why would you go in there?
Why would you look for trouble?
Notes is crazy.
Notes is so crazy.
Yeah, to look in the notes, not in the texts even.
Is disgusting.
Yeah, if you looked in my notes, you wouldn't like it.
Really?
Yeah, yeah, yeah.
What do you have in your notes?
Just things that make no sense.
Why wouldn't I like it?
Sometimes when I start my general writing, the first thing I'll write is like,
**** this.
You ******* asshole.
You're so dumb.
To yourself?
Yeah, to myself.
That really gets me going.
That's interesting.
Yeah.
Okay, so she goes into his notes.
So she goes into his notes.
Yeah.
And there's a pro and cons list about being with her.
Oh, wow.
That's crazy.
Pros.
She makes me dinner.
Cons.
She's a raving bitch.
Writing a pros and cons list is wild too.
Like if you need to physically write a pros and cons list.
Yeah.
I personally think it's weird, but like you're allowed to.
Like you can't tell someone they can't.
What's the point of the pros and cons list too?
If you got to eight cons and six pros, that's it?
She's out?
You know what I mean?
I think some people use it as like if the only, like not six to eight, but like it's like-
Oh, major list.
If you hate 30 things and the only thing you like is that you guys go to sleep at the same time.
Right.
Then it's like, okay, maybe you should take a look at that.
Oh, okay.
So she did confront him.
Okay.
And he said that everyone does that.
He just forgot to delete it.
No.
But like, what do you want him to say in that situation, right?
It's like-
Everyone does that.
What a terrible excuse.
Everyone does that.
I just forgot to delete it.
Well, you still did it.
I don't think everyone does that, but also-
Why is she in his notes app?
I don't think.
Snoop.
It didn't seem like he was mad about it.
So maybe like his notes were up.
Oh, maybe, but still.
I mean, I just think that like you shouldn't go looking for trouble.
You know what I mean?
Yeah.
Like don't go looking for like problems.
Yeah.
Let the guy have his notes app.
He made a little list.
He was, you know, hey, maybe she needs to step it up.
Get those pros up.
That's all I'm saying.
She checks it every month.
She's like-
Yeah.
You didn't write that I've been doing the dishes this week.
I can do that for you if you want.
I can put some pro cons.
I think we need a marker.
We need a marker board.
My boyfriend said he didn't want to bring me to his work party because I intimidate people.
Is that a compliment or an insult?
It's an insult.
I think men innately will want to show you off.
So if he's not, something's wrong.
And I'm just envisioning her as like some kind of monster.
But-
Like she walks into a room and like twists people's nipples.
Yeah.
You should want to bring your partner around.
That's not good.
Yeah.
Maybe-
What are you doing that's making him not want to bring you around?
Or is it him?
Yeah.
Maybe he's just really insecure.
About?
Himself.
So by bringing her around, maybe she like steals the room and she steals the thunder.
And maybe, I don't know.
I don't know.
I think that, yeah, something's-
Something's shady.
I don't even know if it's shady.
But I mean, I don't know.
It's like if a woman is intimidating, I've known intimidating women.
But you've got to be confident in yourself.
You need to separate the two people and be like, well, that's her.
She's a tough cookie.
I fancy myself an intimidating woman.
Have you ever had-
Yeah, you are.
I'm actually not.
No, you're not.
I'm really warm.
You're so nice and warm.
Have you ever had your partner get in a fight with one of your friends?
Yeah.
That's funny.
My billionaire boyfriend and me got in a fight.
About what?
He wanted to leave and she wanted to stay, but it was just her.
Yeah.
Like she would be alone.
So it's like she wanted me to stay and he wanted me to go.
So they're both just yelling.
And it was her birthday.
Oh, really?
Yeah, yeah.
It was a bad, bad night.
What'd you do?
I was like, I love you so much, but we've got to get home.
Someone's got to turn the lights on in our mega mansion.
She was so mad at me.
She was?
Yeah.
If I could go back, I obviously would have stayed.
Yeah, that's hard.
That's hard.
You know, when you pair up with somebody, you've got to go with them.
Yeah, that's how I feel.
Yeah, that's the way it goes.
Yeah.
Goodbye, friend for life.
Best friend that's always been there for me.
Yeah.
Our night ends here.
That's tough.
That is tough.
There's another time where I briefly dated someone that was like stalking me.
Yeah.
And then everyone was like really worried about me.
Her boyfriend at the time sat me.
Yeah.
I had a dinner party.
This guy's stalking you and you say, hey, well, let's try to make it official.
So I have a dinner party.
Yeah.
And it's like a double date dinner.
Yeah, and he came to the balcony.
I've never been through the front door before.
We're eating.
He's weird.
Yeah.
Okay.
And then they, so he leaves and then my friend and her boyfriend sit me down and they're like,
you can't see this person.
And I was like, what?
And I got so upset because.
We found a ski mask that he left behind.
She said that he couldn't come to the place anymore.
My place.
They said they don't feel comfortable having him in the place.
Really?
And I was like, excuse me?
I literally got up.
We were all yelling at each other and I was like, I will throw you both out of here.
Don't ever tell me what to do.
I love him.
And you both are not allowed in this house anymore.
It was crazy.
So now she always makes fun of me.
You chose a stalker over your friends.
Yeah, yeah, yeah.
But only because I don't believe you should tell.
I don't think anyone can tell someone to break up with someone.
Right?
Yeah, yeah, yeah, yeah.
Unless they obviously are like.
A stalker.
Abusing you.
He was just, the guy was so nice.
Unless they sit outside your house with binoculars for eight to 10 hours a day.
Is it so crazy that someone is obsessed with me?
You call him, you're like, I'm almost ready.
He's like, I know, I can see.
He had hacked into my iCloud so he could see my messages.
It was nice.
He knew the breakup was coming.
Wow.
Yeah.
And how did it end?
It was good.
It was amicable.
We're friends.
Why would you do that?
Why would you date a stalker?
That's so funny.
I just thought maybe, I don't know.
You didn't really know that version of me really well.
I was very.
Open.
Yeah, I was like, you don't know who your soulmate's going to be.
Wow, I really applaud you.
I've never met anybody like you.
I gave it a shot with as many different kinds of people.
Because in my head, I was like, oh, when I settle down, I'm really going to take it seriously.
Let me see all kinds of people.
Yeah.
I don't know.
I think a lot of people will get married to their first boyfriend and they don't know.
I wanted to know everyone out there and then decide.
Is this the guy you found in your closet?
Yes.
Okay.
All right.
Well, yeah, I'm proud of it.
In what way was he stalking you?
Would he sit outside your house?
Wow.
Hacked into all my messaging platforms.
When someone stalks you and is outside your house,
when you walk into the house, do you wave and just go in your house?
Yeah, or sometimes if I was walking home, I didn't drive at the time,
I'd be walking home from CVS and then I'd stop in the car and talk and hang out
and then go back upstairs.
You'd talk to him.
Yeah, so that's what made everyone crazy.
He would just be outside your house waiting for you.
Yeah.
Unbelievable.
But he wasn't dangerous.
And what makes somebody obsessed like that, you think?
I don't know.
That's pretty wild.
He could be anywhere.
He could be with his friends.
Yeah.
He could be working.
But no, he's in his car outside your apartment waiting for you to come home.
So it's that, right?
That's what I wanted.
Would he show up places you were?
So I was on a date once and I saw him outside.
Oh my God.
And then I got a little bit, I was like, is he dangerous?
And I don't see it, but he wasn't.
I think he just had like an obsessive.
He was just obsessive.
I think it was like a compulsion or something.
Because he never did anything.
It was just...
And so then in my head, I was like, I don't know how,
but I convinced myself that like, it's kind of sweet.
Like this person literally watched me date other people
and is just like so enamored by me.
Sure.
And like literally convinced me for a second that like, maybe we are.
I was like, I've never had someone this obsessed.
Oh my God, obsessed.
He was like, even if I can't be with you, I just want to see you.
I want to make sure you're okay.
Gosh.
I was like, okay, well.
Wow.
And imagine when you were like, yeah, let's date.
He must've been like over the moon.
Lost his mind.
Yeah.
He must've been like, it worked.
That's you if you hang in there.
I think it would be a funny show
if that same situation happens, but you date the stalker
and then the stalker doesn't like you.
And then you kind of get crazy.
Cause you're like, well, what do you mean?
And I'm like, I just thought you would be different.
Yeah, yeah, yeah.
That is really funny.
That'd be a really funny thing.
That's good.
Well.
Yeah.
Okay.
Well, we should tell people don't do what you did.
Don't date your stalker.
But it is a funny story.
It's always fun.
And you cannot.
I think if you're in your twenties, enjoy it.
Just have fun.
Yeah.
Like meet people.
Don't be like too stuck on what you think.
Like I have people that are like, I don't want to do dating apps.
Like I want to meet someone organically.
I want to do that.
Like, I think you let go of everything that you think
and how you want to meet someone and all this stuff.
And just like be open
and see like what the universe naturally brings to you.
Even if it's on an app, even if it's from a message,
even if the guy's right outside your window.
Just be open safely.
Yeah.
Good, good advice.
Thanks.
Good advice.
And I love you guys.
Thanks for still watching this podcast.
Yeah.
Thanks for watching guys.
Have a great holiday.
We hope you guys are having a good Christmas season.
You know, this is my season.
I love this.
I love these weeks.
So fun.
We're even going to a holiday party tonight.
We are going to a holiday party.
Yeah, we got three invites.
We have three.
Yeah, which is rare for us.
So that's good.
And we're going to go to the Spotify party,
which is really fun.
Maybe you'll get to see your crush there.
Who?
I don't know.
He's a big podcaster.
You?
No, not me.
Naveen's got like four podcast crushes.
No.
Probably not.
But maybe he'll be there.
Be cool if he was.
I don't care if he's there.
Oh yeah, right.
I don't care.
Yeah, you're gonna, yeah.
Gotta go get ready now, guys.
Bye!
