Hello everyone and welcome to Easy French Today we're in Marseille one of the largest cities in France and we're going to show you a bit a few elements—nothing certain really— but some information and I'm currently facing the right sea which is something extremely important in Marseille right in front of the old harbor Alright let's go So today is the first time I' ve come to Marseille and we're currently in front of the Mucem the museum of civilizations of Europe and the Mediterranean This museum opened in 2013 when Marseille became European Capital of Culture This building houses a museum that is vast and enormous far more than just a museum— inside you'll often find forums and temporary exhibitions that help people understand the current cultural issues in our world So we are currently located front of the major cathedral of Marseille As you can see this cathedral has a rather unique style in fact it's quite recent by the time construction was completed at the end of the 19th century and as Niki pointed out to me it's quite an original cathedral at is his style is hard to define making it a romantic style and as you' ll see inside there's marble and that's something rarely found in buildings of this type Today we arrived in Marseille by bus with my friend Anthony to see the city and now we're in the Panier district which I really love because it 's so authentic So today is truly a beautiful day we're in the Panier district and in the Panier district there happens to be There's an enormous amount of graffiti so lots of tags —drawings something really cool completely different Some drawings are more or less beautiful more or less interesting but that's subjective—again it depends on personal taste—so here are a few A few scratches for you right away So we decided to take a little break and come here to a café so I had a chocolate muffin and Anthony had a muffin raspberries So we're going up the hill where Notre- Dame-de-la-Garde is located—that's right There it is—the sun is setting in the sky and we're directly facing Notre-Dame -de-la-Garde as you can see the background just a moment ago I just wanted to say how pleasant it was being in Marseille — we could easily do something like this in many other cities not just here but in other countries even in Belgium In Switzerland in Quebec you never know —so here we are in front of Marseille ’s protective harbor and I just wanted to say subscribe to us on Patreon It's truly a very important support for me and then follow all my adventures and our adventures in general with everyone who supports me who help me like Niki does today on Facebook Well I'll leave you with the stunning view of Marseille Hi
