Just give it up. I'm not your girl and I never will be. Don't call me up. Don't waste your time.
Hello you guys. Welcome back to my YouTube channel. Today I'm doing one of my most highly requested videos I've ever had.
And it's just my everyday makeup routine. I don't update these often because I do switch out my makeup products so much.
But I have been doing pretty much the same routine every single day recently. So I figured now would be a perfect time to show you guys.
I think I've really nailed what products I love, what products work for my skin type. I have dry sensitive skin by the way.
So starting out we're going in with skin prep. If you are not prepping your skin, I don't know what to tell you.
I don't necessarily use primers, but I always use a serum and a moisturizer.
The serum I like going in with that's obviously makes my skin really glowy as well is the Kapari Barrier Serum.
I wear this in the morning, at night, underneath makeup. It is just all around a perfect serum.
I keep this so stocked because I hate running out of it. Especially if you have dry skin, you will really like this product.
And then for my actual moisturizer, again I only use products that I know won't pill under my makeup and look really well with my makeup products.
So I'm going in with the Tried and True Road Barrier Butter. This again is a very thick moisturizer.
It keeps my skin super hydrated so my makeup doesn't get cracked or cakey throughout the day.
And make sure to bring it down your neck as well because you always want your face to match the neck.
Now the makeup routine I'm doing today is pretty light to medium coverage. I don't do a full beat on an everyday basis.
I usually keep it pretty simple. My makeup routine only takes me like 10 to 15 minutes.
So for my foundation, again I love to stay glowy so I've been using the Schultz Tilbury Foundation Stick.
But my favorite affordable alternative is the e.l.f. Helical Liquid Filter.
And I do hop back to that sometimes, especially when I run out of this because it runs out pretty quickly and it's like $50.
I also typically use a pretty big fluffy brush to blend out all my makeup.
I feel like it looks the most natural and everything blends together really easily.
This is the Saie Base Brush but it's the large one. I know they have a medium one as well.
And I just kind of blend this out everywhere. I put foundation everywhere on my face besides my under eyes
because you don't want to layer too many products there and we're going to put concealer under the eyes later.
Base is looking really glowy and now my skin tone is looking even which is what we like.
The next step kind of differs for people. Kind of like the order you do hair, makeup, and outfit in.
I do bronzer, then blush, then concealer. I know people kind of switch up the order.
But I'm going in with bronzer next. I have been loving this Saie Sun Melt.
Anything that's really creamy. I love a pot and I love a stick.
And I don't like it to be too warm because I'm pretty cool toned and my skin is not super tan right now.
So I'm using the shade Light Bronze and I feel like this one doesn't make me look orange.
And I take it on the same exact brush I put my foundation on with.
I pretty much share the same brush you'll see for a lot of my steps.
And just put a light layer on the face. You can see it's starting to warm up this half of my face.
I always put bronzer down my nose and then on my eyelids as well.
I feel like that's where you would naturally get tan if you were to go out in the sun.
And then underneath the jawline, I also saw Kylie Jenner's makeup artist put bronzer at like the back of the jawline
to kind of create some depth and like shadow back there so your face looks more snatched.
I feel like products like this make my skin look really radiant and everything blends together really well.
But it doesn't look cakey. All these products are really thin in formula.
So it looks really natural on the skin in person and in photos.
With concealer, I have a very specific concealer routine.
I really like my face to be lifted and snatched. So I kind of place my concealer for that effect.
Before I go in with my actual concealer, I always, always, always go in with a color corrector.
This is the Kosas Revealer Extra Bright Concealer in the shade Magic.
It's this light pink color. It'll kind of just correct your under eyes and give you a blank canvas to start your concealer on.
I like a really bright under eye, so I just do a dot on each side.
I don't put this anywhere else on my face. It doesn't really seem necessary.
And then I'll blend it out. I am also switching to a concealer brush here.
And I know I put a dot on this side, but you can already see the difference,
how much brighter my under eye looks over here with just this color corrector.
Honestly, sometimes I just leave it like this.
I feel like it honestly doesn't look too crazy on me, especially when I use setting powder.
But for the sake of this video and on an average day, I do go in with my actual concealer.
Your concealer, again, is personal preference.
I'm going to show you my top three concealers because I have dry skin.
My under eyes crease really easily. These are the three that work for me.
I can definitely do drugstore makeup routines if y'all want alternatives.
But the ones I use are all from Sephora.
First is the Tara 28. This is very creamy, very thin formula, but it's good coverage.
This is probably the best coverage out of this bunch.
Next is Natasha Denona. Again, very thin, very creamy, very hydrating.
Your under eyes will not crease with this. You can layer it up and it looks perfect.
It is slightly less coverage than Tara 28, but it is buildable so you can get the same effect.
And then the most recent addition to my routine is the Patrick Ta concealer.
I know it's literally only been out for like a week, but I really, really like it already.
It's had a great first impression and I've just used it pretty much every single day since I got it.
So I'm going to go in with this one today because it's what I've been using since it arrived on my doorstep.
I fear it's in my top three favorite concealers already.
I use the shade Fair Rosy Neutral, shade 4.
And for like the lifting concealer effect, I put concealer on my under eyes right where I put the color corrector.
But I also put it on the outside of my eyes.
This is going to lift my eyes up and kind of snatch the face.
I put it around the nose because women typically get redness there.
It's just hormonal redness. It happens to a lot of women like myself, so I always cover that up.
Center of the chin because I like highlighting the center points of the face. It'll brighten.
And then I also put it kind of from the outer part of my lip, creating an imaginary line to the bottom of my ear.
And that's why I put concealer over here.
So kind of hollow in the bottom of the face and snatch it as well.
I don't really do much with my forehead. I am kind of forgetful with it.
Sometimes I'll put concealer in the center, but it's really only when I'm doing a full beat.
And I like my freckles to shine through, so I'm not really going to touch the forehead.
Also just realized we forgot cream blush.
I have ADHD brain and I forget sometimes to order.
I'm also just talking a lot right now, so it's kind of whatever.
I don't really care what brand blush I use. I like so many brands.
I care more about the color blush that I use.
Typically, as of recent, I have been loving a rose colored blush.
Something like this or I love a mauve color if it's like summertime,
but I'll probably work my way to like the deep plum mauve colored blushes towards summer.
This is a jelly blush from Makeup by Mario.
Typically, I hate jelly consistencies because they don't lay well with other products,
but this one is really good.
It's shade Rose Crush, but I do find that I have to pick this up with my fingers
because it has to be warm to really blend out nicely.
I feel like this is a good alternative from not a baby pink like Painted by Esther light pink blush vibe,
but it's also not a deep mauve summer blush.
It's kind of right in the middle.
Still has pinky undertones, but I think this looks the most natural for everyday makeup.
And you can see how glassy and glowy it makes my skin.
I always put blush on the highest part of my cheeks.
I put a little bit on my eyelids just because I like my blush color story to kind of go all over my face.
And then I also put blush on the top of my forehead.
Don't ask me why, but I see so many makeup artists do this
and I think it does help everything look a lot more natural once it's blended out.
It does make sense because if you were to go out in the sun and get a little bit of sunburn,
you would get a little sun kissed at the top of the forehead.
Now blending out my concealer.
I'm going to use a small fluffy brush.
If I'm doing a full beat, I'll use more of a dense small brush,
but I want it to look really natural.
Airbrushed effortless, so I'm using a fluffy brush.
I think this kind of helps diffuse the pigment a little bit more
and make it look a lot more natural and effortless.
Follow the line we created earlier and then just blend it down.
But make sure there's no harsh lines.
You always want to blend everything with the products around.
Sometimes if I'm in a rush, I'll use a big fluffy brush too
because I feel like personally with the makeup routines I do,
they all kind of work the same.
With my under eye concealer,
I will take it up the side of the nose just a little bit
to reverse contour the nose and kind of snatch it up
so that you don't have two brown stripes going down your nose.
Instead, you're just brightening the side,
so it's doing the narrowing effect for you just in a more natural way.
And then with that outer eye concealer,
just lift it up towards your temple.
It'll kind of bring your whole face up.
And then I don't really use beauty blenders.
I guess this is when you would.
Go in and diffuse everything else together.
I just switch back to my medium-sized fluffy brush.
This is a Save Beauty dual-sided brush.
I really like for this step
because I can be more precise with the smaller side,
but then I'll flip it and kind of blend everything together
with the bigger side.
Now we have all of our creams on.
I go immediately in with setting powder.
I've also learned through trying so many makeup products
that you can't just pick up any setting powder
because they all give a different kind of finish and effect.
Some of them will give you more airbrushed look.
Some of them will blur your texture.
For the makeup routines I do every single day,
I like a setting powder that's going to blur the face,
but it's not going to get rid of all the glow.
It'll get rid of the sweaty, shiny look,
but it'll keep a radiance to your skin.
It's not completely mattifying your face.
So go back in with the fluffy brush
and just kind of re-blend out my under eyes
so that there's no creases.
And the setting powder I'm going in with today
is the Kosas Cloud Set.
This is pink.
Again, pink is going to be brightening,
at least if you're my complexion.
If you have a deeper complexion,
I would use a peachy kind of setting powder.
That's going to be brightening for you.
Put a little bit into the cap,
and then I always use a powder puff.
But if I'm doing a very no-makeup-makeup kind of look,
I will just use a fluffy brush for my setting powder
and dab it in like this.
I'm not going quite that light today,
or on an average day,
so I will go with a powder puff.
I get a pack of like 40 of these on Amazon for like $6.
I don't really think the brand matters.
They all do the same thing.
But I go in with the powder,
take up quite a bit,
but you see it's chunky.
Kind of rub it on the back of the hand to smooth it out,
and then I go in on my under eyes.
Under eyes are always first,
just so that there's no time for any creases to form.
And setting powder for me
goes in all the same places you put concealer,
so around the nose,
center of the chin.
I'll bring it up towards the ear,
but only where we put concealer.
I feel like a well-known rule in the beauty community
is that your setting powder goes
exactly where your concealer went.
It's not going to go where we put bronzer or blush
because that's for powder bronzer and powder blush.
And when you start stacking all those powders
is when you look a little bit cakey.
Next, I'm going to use powder bronzer.
Like I said, this is the new
Say Beauty Super Suede Baked Bronzer.
So beautiful.
I use the shade Amalfi.
And I'm going to take this
on the smaller Say Beauty base brush.
This is like the size difference.
This one's just a little bit bigger.
Really love these brushes.
If you like a versatile brush,
you can kind of use it all over your face.
Tap a little bit on,
and then I'm going to put it
exactly where we put our cream bronzer earlier.
Again, I like this bronzer specifically
because it's not orange.
It's kind of a cool-toned bronzer,
which almost is like a brontour,
like a mix between a bronzer and a contour.
I don't like anything that's too warm
because it really shows up on my skin tone.
But again, putting in all the same places.
Cream bronzer went earlier.
Now for blush.
I have kind of a low-key relationship with blush
because I don't always use a powder blush.
I typically skip straight to a highlighting blush.
It's a mix between highlighter and blush.
My favorites,
Bare Minerals Highlighting Blush
in the shade Peach Glow.
You can see it's kind of the same rosy color,
but it is extremely highlighting, very bright.
Or this Rare Beauty Shade Mesmerize.
This is also a highlighting blush.
And I feel like they're pretty much the same color,
so I think that's why I'm kind of drawn
to these two specifically.
As of recent,
I've actually been using the Rare Beauty one
a little bit more,
going in with the same brush,
putting it and putting this
where I put the blush earlier.
And you can see right as I blend it out
how glowy it is.
This will bring all that glow back to your face.
I specifically put this in three spots,
the highest part of the cheek to lift the face up,
right underneath the eyebrow arch,
and then I put it on the temple of the forehead.
When you go out into the sun,
these are the three spots highlighter will hit on your face
so it looks the most natural that way.
And I like the highlighting blush
because it will deposit just a little bit of color.
I don't think I have blush blindness,
but I definitely have highlighter blindness
because I'll go a little bit crazy with this sometimes.
And then also putting this on my nose.
But I feel like this looks really natural.
It's very subtle,
but when you go out into the sun
or if you're at nighttime taking flash photos,
you're gonna glow.
It's gonna show up really well.
Now, all my powders are down.
I love this stuff.
I think I'm on my third bottle of it.
One Size Powder Melt Glass Setting Spray.
It's not actually a setting spray.
It's more of a fixing spray for your makeup.
I won't just use this on its own,
but it will melt all these powders together.
Like I said, I have dry skin,
so I like to kind of melt the powders
so that they don't continue sucking moisture out of my face.
I'm kind of like moisturizing the powders.
And then while my face kind of dries down
because you don't want to go in with anything else
when your skin's wet,
I skip up to the eyes.
This is my favorite eyeshadow palette.
I love that it's mini and versatile.
They're also like my favorite eyeshadow formulas
in the whole world.
It's the Patrick Ta Little Mini Eyeshadow Palette,
and this is in the shade Light.
I use this for nose contour.
I use it for eyeshadow.
I go in first with one of these two shades,
and I put it all over my lid.
Looks crazy at first.
Just trust.
I also take that same color,
and I put it on my lower lash line.
Not actually in your waterline.
It's going on my skin,
but I feel like it adds definition to my eyes
and kind of makes my blue eyes pop.
And then a little bit of that same color,
and I'll put it down the nose.
Now, this is the part of my makeup routine
that I kind of start skipping around.
I'm gonna brush through my brows really quickly
with a clear brow gel.
I don't really like tinted brow gels
because I find them to be pretty messy on me.
This is the Rare Beauty Brow Gel, though.
I've heard people with coarse brows
say this is the best brow gel.
It obviously works really well for me.
I am on, I think, my fifth or sixth bottle.
Now, while the brow gel dries,
I go in with fake freckles.
This is the Bobbilyn Ruby Berry Freckle Pen.
It's the one Hailey Bieber uses,
so I just trust it.
I first do dots along the bridge of my nose,
and I use this as almost my nose contour,
and then I'll go in with some fake freckles
underneath my eyes and then on my forehead.
I think sometimes if I go a little bit too crazy
with the powders or I go too crazy with product,
this just kind of brings my makeup back down to earth
and makes it look natural again.
Especially in the summer,
I will always be adding fake freckles.
Now I'm gonna go back to my brows.
This is the ColourPop Brow Boss.
I use the shade Brunette,
and I just kind of fill in my brows,
primarily the bottom of my brows.
I just like to do a line at the bottom.
I feel like it makes my brows look the most tame
but still really natural.
Then I'll add in a few hairs to the front of my brows
just to make them look fuller,
and then sometimes I'll fill in my arch if necessary.
Now my brows are done.
I'm gonna do my favorite lip combo.
I don't have any lip filler, as you guys know,
so I'm very particular with the products I use on my lips
because I want them to look fuller
and really beautiful and pouty,
but not every lip liner or gloss works
for a girl with no lip filler
because it's very easy to emphasize
your lip creases or texture in your lips,
so I go in first with the Rode Lip Liner.
It's a shade contour kind of thing.
This is in the shade Lift.
I think it's the most flattering contour color
for my lips if you have my complexion.
On days where I'm wearing no makeup,
I will still wear this with, like, a clear gloss,
and I just love the effect it adds to my lips.
And you'll see here, I only put it on this half of my lips.
It's almost the same exact color as my lips naturally are,
so I think it looks really natural.
So that is the lip shape on.
This always goes in my purse.
I do have two of them,
so one stays in my purse, one stays in here.
And then my favorite lip liner.
This is the same kind of color family,
but it's a little bit darker,
and I can be more precise with it.
It's the Kylie Cosmetics Lip Liner.
Shade comes naturally.
I've talked about this so many times.
But now I'll go in with this,
and I'll kind of define the lip line.
I typically only overline the middle of my lips.
I feel like if you start overlining the creases,
it looks really crazy.
So along the corners of my lips,
I stay within my natural lip line.
That is my lip liner on now.
I go in with the gloss,
the one I've been loving so much recently.
I really like this Polite Society Lip Balm.
This is very nourishing for the lips.
Don't have to reapply it too often.
I also love this Ulla Hendrickson
Peptide Preserve Pout thing
in the scent Vanilla Bon Bon.
This is clear.
This is pretty much clear.
They're both really natural lip balms.
I'm gonna use the Ulla Hendrickson one today.
This one is very, very glossy.
I love it.
I feel like I've really nailed my lip combo
as someone who has no syringes in them.
Now, my lashes are already curled.
I'm gonna go in with mascara.
In the summer, sometimes,
I'll switch to a brown mascara,
but on a typical day,
I'm wearing a black mascara.
I love the Kosas Soul Gazer Mascara.
It's just one of my most used mascaras.
And I feel like mascara is something
that kind of just brings the whole makeup look together.
If I'm doing a full beat,
again, I'll put, like, clusters on
or at least one on the end of my lashes,
and then I'll add, like, winged eyeliner and things.
But on a typical day,
I'm just putting mascara on.
It's nothing too crazy.
I do usually have a mirror that I look down into.
I feel like this helps me be more precise
and get less mess on my eyelids
that I have to clean up.
And people apply their mascara differently.
I usually just apply it to the tips of my lashes
and build it up,
and then I work my way down
to the base of my lashes.
Now my mascara's on.
I did get a little bit of mess on my lids.
I just let that completely dry.
I don't like rubbing it off right away
because it'll turn into more of a smudge
than just actually coming off my lashes.
But now I can go in with pressed powder.
I love this Kosas.
Same exact version of the loose powder,
just in a pressed version.
This is the Candy Cloud set pressed powder.
Again, it's very brightening.
This I'll take in my purse for touch-ups.
But for my placement of this,
I put it on my under eyes,
around the nose,
and then on the center of the chin.
I don't really take it to all the other spots.
And now I can go on with a Q-tip,
and I just clean up my eyelids.
The very last step is setting spray.
I do switch between my setting sprays
depending on the kind of finish I want.
But as of recent,
I've been reaching for this one a lot.
It's the Danessa Myricks Liquid Blurring Balm.
I feel like this gives me a very airbrushed...
It kind of mattifies a little bit,
but you can still see the glow from my highlighter.
And now I'm pretty much done with my makeup routine.
These are the products I've been keeping in my top drawer,
reaching for the most every single day.
I will switch out products,
like blushes and what bronzer I'm using.
But for the most part,
these are the products I've been loving.
Let me know what you guys think of this routine,
and if there's any other makeup looks
you want to see me try.
And I'll have everything I used in this video
linked in my L2K for you to find easier.
I'll put the link to it in my description.
And if you are just now finding me, welcome.
Make sure you subscribe
so you can see more of these videos.
Love you guys.
Bye.
