Zhu Yuling vs Ying Han | WS R32 | #WTTChongqing 2026

It's Zhu Yuling to begin. We're seeing already, she's going to have to do something different today. Oh, stunning, right off the bounce, looking, holding, pushing, spinning, into the middle, hooking it. She's just so relaxed, rushed or flustered, Zhu Yuling. But she can't return that one, clever from Han Ying. Recent meeting at the Singapore Smash 3-0 win for Zhu Yuling. So really, it's not great reading if you're a Han Ying fan. Oh, had a real opportunity there, didn't she, the German? A little spanking on the forehead, moves on. Oh yeah, incredible. That was, in the end, table tennis in a way. Beautiful swooping shot there from Han Ying. Here's explosive, but actually it's just energy being redirected. That's what Zhu Yuling is so good at. That is so masterful. 7-6. She's just plotting her way to victory so well. 6-8. Misses it by a whisker. That's awesome from Han Ying. 9-8. Oh, and it finishes with a miss. She's the German number one and the European number one. 2-3. Gold last year in Croatia. Han Ying didn't actually feature there. They are such a great team with Han Ying. How spinny was that? My god, it's just so good. 4-3. Very good indeed. Zhu Yuling, tennis Zhu Yuling, because she can in the ascendancy. Hasn't put a foot wrong. 7-10. From 10-4 down. But there'll be no comeback here. 7-7. Game 2. Finishes with a bit of dribble. Oh, fresh airs it. Love 2. Maybe that could give Anders Lind a bit of an advantage against Moragard in the next match, the last match of the day. Look at the variation in the chopping game from Han Ying. Sometimes she comes through beforehand. Zhu Yuling distancing herself really well from the table. Just in case Han Ying decides to humble. So receptive. Lofting the ball. Finds the deep region of the table, Han Ying. How will she return this one? 7-6. Highlight upon highlight here. Oh, whiplash. Oh, the fastest and most furious rally we've seen so far. Jose. What on earth just happened there? It's just a joke. What a fight. What a shot from Han Ying. Special talent, isn't she? Oh, what a chance. And again, deja vu. Zhu Yuling remains unbeaten against her good friend Han Ying. A battle of two grizzled stars. Two players with an embarrassment of riches and experience. But when it came down to the crunch, it's Zhu Yuling, the former world number one, who proves and justifies all the clout which she carries right now.
